I'm my own TW... I forgot to enter my timecard hours for last week and now the timesheet is closed. I'm trying to figure out if I can somehow get my hours in there and be paid for them on time. I really hope I can..

Omg, hope so @creamcheeseplease that sucks so much. The dude that puts in my husband's hours in for checks has been consistently messing up and shorting him a few hours here and there and it's really messed with our finances. Hope you can get it resolved!

I don't want to get too into it but I have some in-laws that are total TW. They have moved my husband's grandmother in with them as she is deteriorating, and I have to try to plan a visit to see her. The problem is they haven't spoken to us in 3 years, since our wedding. Last year, at the urging of my FIL I contacted one of the aunts to clear the air on whatever it was that upset them. She refused to say that there was an issue at all and that they've just been busy (???) we went from seeing them multiple times a year for holidays and celebrations to zero contact. 🙄 I'm fine with just letting them go, but we need to see Nana. They are my TW today because I have a message saved in drafts right now to make plans that I'm building up the nerve to send.

By the way, I have my suspicions on why they are mad, and it's ridiculous.

Ugh, @ABabyMarshall that is so annoying. Even if they are mad at you for some reason, I hope they don't make it an issue that you want to see your H's grandmother. I hope you send the email and that it goes okay. 

Well, I got my time submitted so I think I'm good to go and I can say I'm most likely no longer a TW. Haha. So I'll add my boss, who is really my forever TW, haha. He is on a personal trip with his wife today (not entirely sure why/where/what) but he's been logged onto work a lot of the day and on a call we were on earlier he said he was "traveling" and "offsite." Like don't make it sounds like you are doing something work related to other people.. I already know you aren't and you are on a personal day. He always needs to make himself seem more important than he is, honestly.

My twatwaffle is the smoke detector that went off (false alarms) twice last night - 3am and 5am- and again just now.  Darn thing has so many nuisance alarms! We need to just replace it.  You have to go and check that there isn't actually a fire each time, ok of course. Amazingly the toddler slept through both! Still, I want more than my allotted cup and a half of coffee this morning!

@creamcheeseplease thanks! Glad you got your hours straightened out!! And your boss sounds like kind of a jerk but it also sounds like you see through his BS and you probably aren't the only one. 

@drama_llama that sucks but always better safe than sorry. Is it a battery issue? Is it a CO2 detector? Always so worried about that, it's a silent killer. Hope you get better sleeps tonight

@ABabyMarshall it speaks what the alarm is, it says fire. They are brand new (6 months old) 10 year battery detectors.  Nuisance alarms are just a known issue with this type of detector but we didn't know that when we bought them.  They have a dual sensor so they are better at detecting smoldering fires, but from the reviews it looks like about 5-10% of their stock are just too sensitive.  We may have to replace it.

Ugghhhhh smoke detectors. I had one wake me up the other morning, took it down, replaced batteries. Still heard it chirping so I figured it must have been another one. I had them all laying on my couch, no batteries, and STILL had something going off. I almost cried and told MH that's it, I can't live like this, we're selling the house. 
Turned out to be the CO2 alarm telling us to change the batteries.

This girl at my gym just said, as she is flirting with some guy, I have been with babies all day and I’m pretty sure my IQ has dropped because of it. 😒
