Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
Hey there! Been lurking about for awhile. Finally decided to jump in and introduce myself. We are 31 & 32. We've been TTC for 5 months Cycle tracking using OPKs, CP and CM We live in the country near Portland, OR. SO is about to finish up 4 years of night school. We're building a hobby farm, and trying to take more time to enjoy the little things in life. Look forward to getting to know everyone!
Thanks! We are raising pasture-raised meat and egg laying chickens and pasture-raised lamb. We hope to add pasture-raised pigs in the future. We also planted a fruit orchard, grapes, berries, and a huge garden! I enjoy canning, baking, making homemade kombucha, etc. So many ideas, not enough time!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: PNV, temping; but currently waiting to hear what the OB says
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have two little ones (4 and 2) and I love running. Sadly, I find myself back here and am currently experiencing the loss of pregnancy #3.
I was on TTGP back in the winter of 2018/2019 but life got crazy and I tapered off posting. I am still active in my April 2015 and June 2017 BMBs. I hope we are all here for a very short time. Nice to “meet” everyone.
@hopefullydavispartyof3 That is so cool! I’d love to have a farm in another life but as you know they are SO MUCH WORK! And all your fruits too...it sounds like a dream to me.
@tyrion_ I’m so sorry you’re experiencing a loss. Please feel free to join us in the TTCAL (Trying To Conceive After Loss) thread within this board. Everyone there can relate, unfortunately. Hugs to you!❤️
Hello! Been lurking again for a bit, was here back in 2017 and excited to be back to try for our next LO.
Ages (you and SO): I am 29 and SO is 30
How many months have you been TTC?: We are going to start trying for number 2 this month!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I did all the things when TTGP with DS and since giving birth have been pretty aware of when (I believe) good old O is occurring. Because of this, I am hoping I can get away with just using FF app and OPKs to confirm. Stay tuned though!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I am a proud mama to a 17 month old little man, a spunky 4 year old chocolate lab, and a crazy cat. I currently am out numbered because they are all males so we’re crossing our fingers for a girl this time around but I honestly would be fine being the only woman in my house if that’s how it works out. I was on here when trying to conceive my first and had some issues conceiving due to being overweight. I have recently lost 30 pounds and am hoping for a quicker TTC journey this time around. I really enjoyed the support I received and was able to give on here last time and know I couldn’t do this all again without it. I really look forward to starting this journey here and gettingto know all of you lovely ladies!

@LaurenEG14 Welcome Lauren! I hope it is a quick process for you. Also, I think you might be right about weight causing problems. With my son I was in the best shape of my life with v little body fat and got pregnant on the first try. I am 30 lbs heavier now (trying to lose) and it is much harder.

*TW Loss and LC mentioned*
We're already working with our OB and the RE. We have one LC, Maggie, who will be two in a few weeks. While TTC her we dealt with RPL and and I have PCOS... we had four total losses and three back-to-back before going to the RE and doing testing/meds. After almost 1.5 years we got pregnant with her in October 2016 and thankfully I carried to term! We're hoping that by starting at the RE this time, we can skip the heartbreak, but also know it may just come with the TTC territory for us.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): As mentioned above, we have one LC who will be two in a couple of weeks. We also have a black lab, Indy. We live in Vermont and are DIY renovating an 1895 farmhouse. I'm the director of a nonprofit, and I also do hand-lettering and was a wedding photographer for 10 years before stopping in 2018. I love laughing and making other people laugh.
I was active on TTGP while TTC#1, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing what the new vibe is like.
Oh... and I love GIFs. GIFs are my love language. So much so that I wrote the "how to GIF" thread way back when.
@WorkingOnMyNightCheese Great GIF entrance! I'm sorry for your losses, but glad you're starting with a plan right from the start this time! I must ask... what does your username mean? Also, you might be the first person I've seen on here who is relatively close to me! I live on the VT/NH border on the NH side! Welcome!

Ahhh no way! Hi fellow New England-er! I grew up down that way, but live past Burlington now, like 10 minutes from Canada. It's cold.
My username is from 30 Rock. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it.
@WorkingOnMyNightCheese Oh yes!!! I remember that now that you posted the GIF, haha! I watched it (sporadically) but am generally bad with quotes. I love that area of VT! I grew up in Boston suburbs, and this part of NE is probably about as far north as I will go.

No way! Hi!
Life got wild right before my daughter was born so I stopped updating in June 17, but hello! Excited to see someone familiar.
I remember you too @WorkingOnMyNightCheese from TTGP and LFAF back in 2016/2017. I hope all is well and I hope our journeys are easier this time around. I'm TTC #2 now as well!

Hi @WorkingOnMyNightCheese! Welcome back Sorry about your previous losses and good luck this time around 🤞
Another New Englander here. (Boston suburbs) I was active in the Dec16 BMB and now we moved to a private group.
@whitealbum29 Are you near Portland? For a long time my face was on the banner they flew downtown for the Portland Symphony. If it is still there, they really need to update their marketing, haha!

@bobbyflies2020 Yes we are! Oh how funny, I don't think I've noticed a symphony banner but now I definitely will! I know there are always banners up near City Hall...
@whitealbum29 It was one of thise action shots that just make you cringe. I ended up on the program cover for the entire season once. Another action shot of me doing something weird. Oh well. Portland, Maine is great! I loved my time there.
@shamrocandroll Nice! I might know some of the music teachers that were at your high school. That area has such good schools IMO!

@bobbyflies2020 - haha omg! Did you perform with them or were they audience shots? I love Portland! So much good food, a good amount of stuff to do, nice movie theater, beach + woods right nearby. We never planned to move here from NYC, I really knew nothing about it before moving a couple years ago but we feel lucky to be here!

How many months have you been TTC?: Not officially trying just yet, but we are getting close...
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Going back to the RE for our first TFAS f/u appointment and CD3 testing later this month. Hoping to get a good gameplan and at least a loose timeline, ramping up to FET prep over the next few. So far I've added back PNVs, DHA, Calcium, Vitamin E, lower/ slower carb for weightloss, and recently stopped pumping as well.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I was active on TTGP from about Nov or Dec 2015 to Dec 2017, while we TdTC our first. We are Catholic, too, which has been a bit of a struggle for us as it relates to IVF, so here we are, on a mission to transfer each of our remaining embies. And stay married! :D
We have two doggies and live in a big ole rented farmhouse. Since we've been married, we closed one construction business and started another; chalk it all up as part of the adventure! I guess that's it for now. Looking forward to the next chapter for everyone here... ❤
@jackie_dunny hem, I cant see my siggie on mobile, so I'm trying to remember. I think the website is embedded super tiny in the ticker image.

If you Google countdown tickers etc., a couple different sites like that will come up, and then I just browsed the options. I don't remember what I have but I seem to remember babycenter had some, too. :# tickerfactory looks familiar, babysizer has them, too. Sorry I'm no help! I'll have to sit down on desktop one of these days and take a peek.
