We discourage one off posts like these because they clutter our board. Please intro in the Introduction thread and read the thread titled, "Read First." It explains how our board is organized.
I think there are 2 other multiples mom but neither of them are active. We never heard back from one after she announced there were 2 sacs. The other one posted a one off post just like this and never came back. 🤷♀️
Hello, I read the organization board weeks ago, I searched all the other topics and no other people have discussed this. I’m here reading and responding to others several times a week and no one on any other topic has responded so I figured I would ask separately on my own.
@ashcash03 That's interesting because I have never seen you post and I'm a reg on this board. In fact, I just looked at your post history and the last time you posted was in the US thread and that was in March. Don't come here acting like you are member of this board and are getting ignored. You have to actually participate to get mixed into the conversation. Lots of us are discussing things in the Questions thread, randoms thread, etc. We don't make SS threads, we ask in the appropriate thread.

Are you the thread police? I’m assuming so since you felt the need to investigate. I don’t have to introduce myself to you or anyone else. Asking if there are multiple moms is not a random question so therefore it doesn’t belong on your random board. I can start as many threads as I like, becauae the last time I checked, you are not the owner of the bump.....did it make you feel better telling me what not to come here and do? Did you get a thrill in your otherwise clearly lacking life since you have all the time in the world to police boards of a person you will never meet in life. It’s just a forum, get a life.
Haha, @ashcash03 good response. I haven't introduced myself, does that mean I not allowed to post randomly or unless I post all the time? I agree there are no active discussions about twinstin other boards. It so hard to find others to relate to in the difficult and exiting time. So few people get to experience being pregnant with twins
If you would like to be welcomed on this board as a participating member you should follow the guidelines. Almost every board on TB is set up like this. If everyone on here started their own SS thread we would have to sift through pages and pages of crap to get to an actual thread where we could have meaningful conversation.
Also, it is pretty rude to come here and not even bother to introduce yourself to all the ladies who PARTICIPATE REGULARLY on this board.
So basically, just to summarize, you have lied about being an active member and accused everyone on this board of ignoring you. Then, you informed us that you are way too good to even bother introducing yourself.

🙋🏻♀️ I’m having di/di twins as well. I’ve intro’ed and posted maybe one other time...but just don’t find I often have much to say! I thought I was the only multiples mom on here.
@ashcash03 the problem with starting as many threads as you want is that the board gets cluttered and confusing. All of the birth month groups like to operate in an organized way (in fact most of the other boards do as well, like TTC). And the bump actually encourages that from what I’ve seen. Typically if we want to start a new thread topic we’ll discuss it in the question thread or the read this first thread to see if there’s interest from others. But like @emeraldcity1214 said we don’t have any multiples moms on here so it may not get much traction.
@ashcash03 You were caught in a lie and when called on it, you decided to attack her as your response? You'd never put up with that for anyone else. Smh.
Most of the active parts of TB's entire community forums has board organization and rules that members come up with by voting or discussing as a community to implement and the owners of TB allow it because it keeps everyone organized. It creates community. It's no different over at Baby Center or What to Expect or any Facebook groups that you join. Even your local Mom's club has bylaws and guidelines. The reason TB is unique from those other online communities is that because people don't start a new post to talk about every feeling, symptom, or thought they have, all of the community posts don't get pushed down so people can actually take the time to get to know each other. If that doesn't seem great to you, then maybe this place isn't right for you.
So being called out was less about not introducing yourself (looking at you too @elenados) and more about posting a one off that really won't get traction as @kopp5988 explained, and then lying about your activity level here when you felt threatened. It's okay, we've all made mistakes here. Lord knows I have.
Please remember that y'all are pregnant. Hormones will make you wanna claw each other's eyes out through your keyboard right now. It's not the way. Please let it roll off, introduce yourself, and participate regularly as your lifestyle allows for. Start a weekly/monthly "Moms of Twins" or "Multiples Mamas" (or whatever title tickles your fancy) thread with a format and a cool gif to get the conversation going or make it informal, whatever. This really is a great community. I've been on here since five years into my disgustingly long infertility journey, now in my BMB, and I've made some really awesome new friends here. Best wishes in your pregnancy!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
