How are you feeling?: pretty good, but I did too much on the weekend and paid for it through fatigue, back pain, and contractions.
Rants/Raves: I’m anxiously waiting for the dr office to call so I can schedule my backup csection if I don’t go into labor on my own for the vbac.
Questions: eta: Does anyone else have severe hip or lower back pain after getting up from laying down? After some movement it goes away, but when I first get up I can barely walk. Have you found anything to prevent it?

How are you feeling?: Baby movements keep getting more and more uncomfortable and sleep is more of a challenge these days. Overall I can't complain too much.
Rants/Raves: I got to go to the P!nk concert over the weekend and she was absolutely amazing. However, In having oral surgery this morning so not looking forward to that.

How are you feeling: a little bummed, I am back on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy...but that does mean I get to catch up with you lovelies! And my high priority is to keep the baby in as long as possible!
Rants/Raves: My son, who is 5yo, has been amazing and helping my hubs and I as much as possible!
Questions: Let’s be honest how many of us refer to google as soon as we hear something? I mean I go to my nurses and then gts (google that sh**). It is not for advise on google mainly amusement.

Rants/Raves: Ranting: the waddling has begun and my server literally laughed at my italian ice order last night - like ok keep your opinions to yourself before this pregnant lady knocks you out and steals all the ice you got man
Questions: What do you STMs think is a good gift to bring a new mom - my SIL is 3 days overdue and I'm just trying to plan what to bring when I visit. I figured I'd bring some wipes or baby stuff, food, and then I wanted something for mama but idk what she really would need or appreciate.

How are you feeling?: I've been feeling pretty good. Normal aches and pains. The pregnancy brain is in full force today!
Rants/Raves: rants: even after increasing my insulin twice in the past week my blood sugars have been high. So far today they're good though so that's a plus! Also, my MIL is so difficult. She offered to purchase swings for these babes, we didn't ask, she offered. She only ordered one and can't understand why we need two.. even though there's twins? I haven't bought two of everything.. only stuff when I feel it's necessary for them to have their own. She hasn't done anything else for these babes. I can't stand her..
Raves: seeing my 3 year old DS give his brothers hugs, singing them songs already and showing them all his dinosaurs makes me so excited to see him with them when they're here.
Questions: when is everyones last day of work? With twins obviously my situation is a little different. Typically they're born around 36 weeks. 38 weeks will be a scheduled c section. I am measuring 38 weeks already so working is just so uncomfortable at this point. I want to wait as long as possible but also hope to get a little alone time with ds before these babes are here. My Dr said it's up to me but with twins he takes it super easy and careful and it could realistically be any day now..

@gbud630 - Food, gift cards for smoothies would be my too choice, or restraints for meals. Anything that makes routine day to day task easier is greatly appreciated.

Rants/Raves: Rant: so DH made me feel like shit last night because he came to bed, complained that I was snoring like a banshee and went to sleep on the couch. Like - fuck you dude! You snore ALL THE TIME and I never bitch about it.

With my first "boyfriend" of like 36 hours. He broke up with me later that day or the next day... and started dating the friend that set us up. It was not memorable aside from the teenage drama and the fact that it happened at a local playground.

Upcoming Appointments: May 6. Another ultrasound to see if her head/femur growth is getting better.
How are you feeling?: uncomfortable, large, and emotional! I’m still sad about the discovery during my ultrasound last week that my girl’s head and femur are not the size they ideally should be, but im just trying to keep moving forward. If there is a serious problem, my worrying wont do a damn thing to fix it. If there’s not a serious problem, why waste time worrying? Im just trying to focus on what i do have control over: amping up the quality (and quantity) of my diet so baby has lots of fuel for growing.
Rants/Raves: We have a friend who offered to give us her kids’ old changing table and crib. Went over there yesterday for tea and to check out the furniture and it was SO NICE. We were only able to fit the changing table i our car, so we’re going over again next weekend to take the crib. Also, they have three little girls who were absolutely delightful and hilarious. One of them asked me if i knew whether i was having a boy or a girl; when i said “girl,” she quietly replied “good.” 😆

I was cuddling with this guy and he’d been wanting to kiss; eventually i agreed and then immediately his tongue was in my mouth and I was like wtf dude...also i kept laughing.
@pizzaplz Yay for a free crib/changing table! That’s HUGE! You’re on the right track not to worry, but I’m sure it’s always in the back of your head. Everything will be okay. Hugs mama.

How are you feeling?: I’m feeling okay. I’m really trying hard to wrap my head around doing a 10k on Memorial Day (I’ll be 34 weeks). I have a back up plan if the OB won’t let me do it, but I want to try! I just don’t want to be taken off in a stretcher either.
Rants/Raves: Rave: DD now likes to use my belly to jump on. It’s sooooo adorable. It hurts, but I’d let her get away with anything haha.
Rant: I probably shouldn’t have gone to see Endgame AND Game of Thrones this weekend. I’m emotionally drained.
Questions: any STM+ had varicose veins that went away after pregnancy? I’m so afraid I’ll have to have surgery to remove them. It’s actually causing me a ton of pain.

It was my HS crush (well, I had a crush on him since 5th grade) and he finally agreed to date me freshman year. I remember it was after school outside the band room (yes, I’m a band girl, played trumpet from 5th grade to college). I remember I had braces and it was awkward AF. Haha. He broke my heart a short while after and it took me a LONG time to recover.

How are you feeling?: heartburn is killing me. Baby is also getting progressively stronger and more active, which is cool but gets distracting and just feels weird.
Rants/Raves: Starting to panic about how little i’ve done to prep for LO. I’ve hardly bought anything. I finally started a registry after getting a number of requests despite not having a baby shower, and I got so overwhelmed by all of the options for everything and all of the stuff I had never even heard of and had no idea whether I’d need that I quit. H is still out of state allegedly working on getting work scheduled to repair our old house and get it on the market, but he has yet to actually schedule any work after well over a month. I know he’s at least been calling and meeting with people and is having trouble getting people to follow up with quotes, which isn’t necessarily within his control, but I am really sick of this. At this rate, him being here in time for the baby is seeming questionable. And now I’m in a pissy mood thinking about it, so two rants and no rave today.

How are you feeling? Lots of hip pain, also pregnancy induced carpal tunnel which I had with DD as well - so cleaning my house lately has been the biggest most uncomfortable chore.
Rants/Raves: I just have no patience lately, I feel bad for my DD because I know she’s used to me having way more patience than I do lately. We’re potty training right now, she’s peeing like a pro, no accidents in a week but pooping has been a battle. That’s definitely not helping with the patience issue.

How are you feeling?: Super nauseous. Eating is a chore and most of the time I just don't which likely makes me more nauseous...but the acid reflux is so bad afyer I eat or drink anything that I'm preferring the extreme nausea. Also fatigue and @mama_bear19 I have the exact same hip/back pain issue as you. When I get up from sitting or laying down I can't walk. It takes a few minutes and then it's fine but oh the pain!
Rants/Raves: My doctor wrote me off on medical leave 2 weeks ago. I stayed at work an extra week but Thursday of last week was my last day. So I'm now officially off work until January 2021. I've kept my 5 yo DD home from school this week to spend some time with her too. She is starting to get excited about baby and is constantly giving my belly raspberries and kisses all over and saying "I definitely got her bum!". We do a lot of reading at home and she just finished grade 1 reading and is on to grade 2. I'm sooooo proud of her (she's in the equivalent of JK at a montessori school but there isn't a big focus on reading there so we taught her at home).
Questions: I'm trying to decide how early to set up the bassinet in my and DD's bedroom and put the car seat in the car. Mostly I want DD to get used to it before baby gets here so that it's not a huge change all at once.
GTKY: My kiss was with an older guy (around 14 years old) in the summer time when I was...11 maybe? I don't remember the kiss itself (and I never saw the guy again since we were camping) but my little sister caught us and I had to make up a story about him trying to swat a fly off my face or something so that she wouldn't tell my parents. She was a huge tattle tail! She never believed the story but I put enough doubt in her 7 year old mind that she never told either.

DH is telling me all the time how excited he is for our baby girl! It’s helping keeping me positive as I’m starting to feel more sluggish and am needing more help with things.

How are you feeling?: super pregnant. Nothing feels comfortable on me. I look like a walking train wreck. I just can’t get it together this week.
Rants/Raves: Rant- we’re suppose to be moving this week but went to sign the final paperwork and do one last walk through and when the landlord opened the door we all discovered the house in ruins. Someone had broke in and destroyed everything; I’m talking holes in walls, wire and pipes stripped, spray paint everywhere. We were all extremely upset. So he gave us our money back. He had been in the night before to take pictures of how everything looked and we were suppose to begin moving in today, but guess we’re back at the beginning.
Rave- hubs and mines kid free getaway was amazing and well needed, definitely wasn’t long enough. The concert was so much fun and it was so amazing to reconnect and go back to feeling like we were us again. We’ve decided to do this every year and will likely travel to other places too. When we were on our way back we both agreed though that we missed our boys terribly and couldn’t wait to be back with them. We may have caved and let them snuggle up with us in bed last night. It was a great weekend.
Questions: The Braxton Hicks are strong over here. Any one else starting to feel them? I’ve been staying hydrated and they’re definitely irregular, but what are some things you’ve found have helped you make them a little more manageable and not so uncomfortable?

It wasn’t anything special. My bf at the time kissed me unexpectedly on the swing set and I felt uncomfortable. It caught me off guard but it was nice. We were young and incredibly awkward kids 😂
