Any thoughts about this cycle? Really looking forward to it being over, but AF is taking her sweet time. I probably should have tracked this last one, but I just needed the mental break.
Any questions? Not really.
Rant/Rave/Brag: We picked out our puppy on Saturday! DS went over to one that was just kind of off by herself away from her siblings, and said "I want that one!" The breeder said it was the fastest anyone has ever picked. Luckily it was one of the ones I had decided ahead of time through pictures that I wanted, or we may have had to over rule him, but I just think it's so cool that it worked out that way. It was meant to be! I'll post pics over in randoms.
Also, I mentioned this already over in TTCAL, but even though we had an awesome weekend, it was full of a lot of reminders that I'm not currently PG. **TW: PG mentioned
First, the breeder who we picked out our puppy from is apparently 6 months pregnant, which I didn't know until we arrived. She's due about a month after I would have been, and talked about timing the litter of puppies accordingly, so that was hard.
Then, we were at a local produce stand, and the freaking lady at the register looked at DS and said "Are you going to be a big brother!?" I just looked at her super confused, and said "Um, no" and took DS's hand and left. I was wearing a big, flowy sweater that kind of falls in layers, and I was holding it closed in front of me, so it was kind of all bunched up, and MH confirmed when I hold it like that, it does kind of look like I might have a bump. But STILL. Ugh. So irritated. And lastly, the effing TB app keeps sending my phone notifications that literally say "Empty" the past few days. I've checked a million times, and I have notifications turned off, but they keep showing up anyway. Empty notification for my empty womb. I'm considering sending them hate mail for it today, and I'm debating completely deleting the app, but then that will hinder my ability to post pictures, etc.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We're actually not 100% sure yet! I'm waiting to hear from MH about whether or not he has to work Saturday. If not, we'll head down to MA for the weekend to spend it with family. If so, then I guess we'll do something low key by ourselves at home. I'm really hoping we can spend it with family.

@shamrocandroll That's so exciting about the puppy!! I love that DS just knew which one he wanted. It's fate! I'm totally feel ya on the universe sending reminders this past weekend about not being PG. It's so hard and frustrating and upsetting. But, today is a new day and you're so close to being unbenched!
What number are you trying for? 2
Month/Cycle? 7/5 (AL)
WTO/TWW? TWW
Ages of other child(ren)? 6 years 8 months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Who knows! Honestly, I'm just trying not to think about it and to just "be".
Any questions?
Rant/Rave/Brag: We had a big thunderstorm around 3:30 this morning. DS came running in and climbed in bed with us holding his ears. I was annoyed for a slight moment that it woke him up but as soon as that thought came it was gone when I realized that my little (well, not so little anymore) boy still needs me when he gets scared. So I scooped him up and we fell back asleep.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We pretty much celebrate Easter all weekend long... Saturday we'll be with my mom's family. It's always a low key night at my Aunts house of pizza and salad and desserts. So it's nice that things are pretty laid back that day. Then Sunday we'll wake up and DS will have his egg hunt then he'll get picked up by his dad and DH and I will go to his parents house for a big dinner.

Any thoughts about this cycle? It’s been a weird one. I’ve been oddly hopeful till now about it but with a BFN and cramping today I’m kind of think I’m out.
Any questions?
Rant/Rave/Brag: I went 3 and a half days without nursing LO and it was sooo nice (except having to slightly express when things got uncomfortable). I was hoping that going without that long would help kickstart weaning but nope. As soon as I walked in the door LO started her hand signals asking for it. I held out till bedtime with distracting her though.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We are celebrating April and May birthdays and Easter at my MIL.DDs basket is already done:)
@shamrocandroll - ugh I'm sorry about all the not-PG reminders. I will say, my phone has been giving me the same "empty" notification, which also reminded me of my empty womb, but maybe it's not related to our losses, and it's a glitch in something else?
@kpearse99 - Aww that's a sweet moment in the middle of the night with your son. Those things they do to still need us just melt my heart.
@madcouplewithabox - Maybe you'll go to just nursing at night? That was the last nursing session we cut out. DD still asked every once in awhile to nurse when she saw me with just my bra on, but I had to tell her the milk was all gone and she stopped begging.
What number are you trying for? THB #2
Month/Cycle? 12/12 (4 AL)

Any thoughts about this cycle? Excited to get tested and maybe get some answers!
Any questions? Not now
Rant/Rave/Brag: DD has been waking up for two hours randomly in the middle of the night, not crying, just wanting someone to be laying next to her. We discovered it was because she was hungry! DH heard her stomach growling a few times, so last night we tested the theory. Right before bed (about 2 hours after dinner), we gave her a peanut butter sandwich, which she scarfed down, followed by two sliced of lunch meat, and a half container of yogurt. She slept 10 hours straight!
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? My sisters and I got a condo for Friday night on the beach, so we are spending all day Friday and Saturday biking, chilling at the pool and beach, and hitting up some awesome restaurants. Sunday, we have morning church, and then dinner at my ILs with an Easter egg hunt in their backyard with the cousins. Looking forward to it!
@kpearse99 Aww that is so sweet! That gives me some hope. My son (2.5) has recently started telling me he's not a baby, he's a big boy and I'm so not ready for the day he doesn't want to snuggle me anymore.
@marebear15 I'm not sure if I feel better or worse that it's happening to other people besides me. Get it together, TB! Ugh! Also, glad you solved your DD's wake-up mystery!!!

Any thoughts about this cycle? This is one of those times I wish I was a type A person. I just thought by doing the bare minimum it would keep me from stressing out, instead I just keep beating myself up about how I could be doing more. I got the OPK with the reader, before I bought it I didn't understand that it has to learn your cycle first, so I was a bit disappointed then on my second month of tracking (3 days ago) I dropped my reader and it broke. A stupid smiley face just sitting there day and night, mocking me. So, when AF gets here I am buying myself a thermometer and some Wandfo strips.
Any questions? No
Rant/Rave/Brag: Last year we were super excited to start trying. Then DH fell off a ladder (like 3ft off the ground so be careful everyone) and after a really painful surgery we were sidelined for a really long time through his recovery. I guess that's the biggest struggle I am having, because I just thought I would have a new baby by now, and instead month after month it's a BFN. DS just showed up without any work, so it's not been easy keep positive. I can't help but think with DS being so chill and easy on us, it's just a warning sign that everything about this next one is going to be serious work, lol. Also, I work at a hospital that specializes in Maternal/Neonatal, resulting out sky high HCG results all day starts to really wear you down, when yours is still a big fat zero, despite being, oh so sure, it worked this month (stop torturing yourself, people are going to think you do heroin, you know you can also test urine, lol)
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? DS's birthday party this weekend, I'm trying to make up Easter baskets for all my nieces. It's going to be so nice to be around family.
@marebear15 so glad you guys figured out that DD was hungry!! Full bellies certainly help them sleep longer!
@habitzjo I am so sorry to hear about YH's accident, that's so scary but it seems like the long recovery road is finally winding down? How is he now? I love the Easter basket idea for little party favors!! I hope your DS has a great birthday weekend!

@habitzjo That's awful about YH's accident! And I'm sorry about your OPK breaking. I definitely feel you on the first being so easy and this time being so difficult. **TW: loss
I've had 2 losses TFAS and I look back at how easy it was conceiving DS and can't help but wonder if we waited too long to start having kids. :-/

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just ready to move onto the next one at this point
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave/Brag: Dh’s sa came back normal, which is great. I have to wait for his to get home from work before I can look at the results and see specifics. Hoping this week goes quickly!
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We are renting an Airbnb with friends in NC and going to the zoo. We haven’t seen them in about a year so we are really looking forward to it.
kpearse99 thanks for asking, Total freak accident, DH lost rotation in his elbow, and needs another surgery, he can't lay his hand flat. He has to type with just his left pinky, it's so sad in this computer age. DH has been so positive through everything, never complains. I just hope he can get it back at some point.
shamrocandroll thanks! You too! Also, people are so unreal with the inappropriate comments. Stop commenting on people's bodies! IT IS NONE of your Business.
kbrown2385 sounds fun, hope you have a fun vacation.
Any thoughts about this cycle? If I do get pregnant great, if not I'm not going to be disappointed.
*TW* pregnancy mentioned (do I need a TW for that on TFAS? I was wondering as it says "Pregnancy may also be mentioned" in the op)
My sister told the family this weekend she's pregnant. She experienced secondary infertility with her second kid (this will be her third). I can honestly say that I am excited for her. She's due in November, so it would be fun to be about a month behind her. I'm not really feeling any additional pressure which is nice. I hope I won't feel any pressure when I go down for my brother's wedding next weekend. All of my siblings have dealt with infertility on some level so chances are slim it would come from any of them.
Any questions? Not that I can think of.
Rant/Rave/Brag: Funny story- DS has learned to recognize when I get an OPK/HPT it means I'm going to use the bathroom. I went to the kitchen and snipped off top of the packaging of my opk. DS ran to the bathroom, lifted up the lid of the toilet, and said, "Have fun!" Umm... Thanks buddy.
DS slept through the night twice in a row last week. It felt wonderful. It seems to require at least two hours of interactions with other people besides mom and two hours of outdoor play time. Unfortunately, he went to bed an hour late on Saturday night and woke up an hour early on Sunday morning. He was a crank yesterday and we put him down for an hour nap yesterday. Well he didn't go to sleep until almost 3 hours past his bed time thanks to that tiny little nap. I thought last night of course he's going to sleep in. Nope! He was up at his usual time and he is super whiny this morning. It looks like the cycle is starting all over again. It's frustrating because he hasn't required this many naps in months.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Easter egg hunt at DS's preschool, Community Easter egg hunt (These will be his first egg hunts with other kids. I'm curious to see how these are going to go), church, and dinner with in-laws.
@spacemountaineer I still use a TW. At least a few of the women here have also experienced a loss, and pregnancy can still be a trigger during fragile times. I know I get a little bit of a sting when I see someone about as pregnant as I should be right now. When in doubt, always better to TW it.

I'm sorry I tend to post on Mondays and go quiet the rest of the week. I do read what you write (I can't "love tit" as I am often on my phone). Sometimes this thread grows really quickly and I get overwhelmed.
@shamrocandroll - I feel a little better knowing that it's happening to other people, because hopefully it's not because of a loss. Maybe?
@habitzjo - Welcome to our corner of the TTGP world. If you have a second, we'd love for you to intro on our Newbie thread for this week. I'm sorry that YH's injury has made TTC #2 harder. I feel like a lot of people on here had an easy time with #1 are having a harder time with #2. (Both have been difficult for us, so I'm the weird one.)
@kbrown2385 - An Airbnb in NC sounds like a lovely way to spend your Easter! Where in NC are you going?
@spacemountaineer - A TW is still welcome on here. I can get pretty ragey or just plain sad when I hear about other people's pregnancies. That's so adorable about YS!
Any thoughts about this cycle? Bfn for the last 3 mornings. Sigh. Still have high hopes for some reason.
Any questions? Nah
Rant/Rave/Brag: we started potty training the weekends before last. I waited for the weekend so that mh could help. On day 1, after half a pee on the floor and half a pee in the potty, mh put dd down for her nap without a diaper. 🤦🏽♀️That’s about how helpful he’s been through this process. He also went stir crazy with being on lockdown in the house for potty training, which then led to a flare up of high anxiety for him. So, as you can imagine, last weekend and the beginning of last week was TOUGH, but things are possibly improving. Other than today’s accidents, dd has been using the potty like a pro the last four days or so. We’ve been really excited and proud of her progress. Plus, we’re not on total house arrest anymore.
Mh and I had a real, full conversation about how we’re both feeling about ttc and religion and just how things have been. It was incredibly difficult because we’re not in agreement about how to proceed if this cycle is a bust, but we know that we love each other a lot. Ultimately, I’m glad that I came clean about all my feelings. I’ve been holding off because I feel like he’s been really high strung lately and didn’t want to add to his worries, but I realized there’s never really going to be a clear opening for these hard conversations. So now we’re both hoping so hard that we won’t have to actually make these decisions because that would definitely be best case scenario.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We’re driving up to mh’s parents’ house for the weekend...5 hours each way. We JUST visited last month, so we’re kicking ourselves that we committed to going back so soon. Timing wise, I may need to be getting my cd2-3 bloodwork done during this trip, so that’s not exactly ideal since I don’t want to have to explain anything.
@shamrocandroll congrats on the pup! I’m glad your son’s pick was yours too! I also hear you on the universe bringing you down.
I hadn’t seen my neighbors during these cold months, so yesterday I got to see that three of my neighbors are due in the summer or fall. I know they were drinking heavily back when I’d already been trying for a few months, so i felt pretty bitter...and still do honestly.
@kpearse99 low key celebrations are perfect! We had a storm last night too—and a tornado warning apparently. Normally I love a good rainstorm when I’m in bed, but for some reason, it kept me awake last night. Glad you got in some quality cuddles!
@madcouplewithabox sorry you’re having trouble weaning. I could never get dd to latch effectively, so I kicked that pumping machine to the curb at one year and have no helpful advice. Seems like your supply might run lower at least with the break maybe. I know my SIL would sneak away during her son’s bedtime so that he couldn’t ask for it.
@marebear15 that’s quite a bedtime snack! Hurray for a parent win!! I hope testing goes well and helps. I may be following your lead pretty soon!
@habitzjo I totally hear you about feeling like things should have happened by now. Dd was conceived the first month of using opk, and now we’re butting up to the one year mark of trying this time. I’m so sorry about your husband’s accident. That is terrifying. I’m glad he’s ok now!
@kbrown2385 your plans sound great! Also, I’m glad to hear you got good news on the sa; sorry you had to wait so long for those results!
@spacemountaineer Sorry about the sleep struggles; those really take a toll! Hopefully your lo will be back on track now!
@marebear15 I'm wondering if it's because I've belonged to a BMB before? Hopefully not because we've had losses, because that would be even more infuriating!

Any thoughts about this cycle? I highly doubt it will work. Our timing was either +1 or +2 since I was sick during the FW. I'm ok with that though.
Any questions? Nope.
Rant/Rave/Brag: I spent way too much money this weekend. I have really slacked on cooking/meal prepping while I was sick and we wasted so much food. We also ate out a ton. So I made a big grocery trip over the weekend and am going to get back into meal prepping. I also bought a dress for my brother's wedding in June (well 3 dresses, 2 for work) and some clearance shoes for DD to grow into.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Saturday is DD first day of gymnastics then we will do the egg hunt in our neighborhood. In the evening we will head out of town to my parents lake house to spend Sunday with them and my brother and his family.
@shamrocandroll Your puppy is so cute! I would love to get a dog, but I learned the hard way that DH is not a dog person. He just always wants things to be right/perfect and a dog cannot do that. We ended up rehoming our pup a year ago to a much better home. That is super annoying about the person at the produce stand!
@kpeparse99 That is such a sweet moment between you and your DS.
@marebear15 Hopefully food does the trick with your DD sleeping through the night. Maybe a growth spurt and she just needs a bit more right now. I swear they always get on a sleep schedule and then suddenly switch it up to keep us on our toes.
@m6agua shopping weekends are so fun!! I'm glad you're feeling better and getting back to your routines!
@begging4abump I'm sorry your potty training experience started off rocky but I'm glad your DD is getting the hang of it!! It's such an exciting and proud parent moment! Did you and YH end up on the same page after talking? Or are you both still on the fence about things?
@spacemountaineer that's hysterical about your DS telling you to have fun in the bathroom! Kids are so observant and pick up on everything!
Guys - I can NOT stay awake today... ugh it's been a real struggle bus trying not to fall asleep at my desk (something I can't say hasn't happened slightly today) Send coffee!!

@shamrocandroll seriously wtf to that lady. and even if you were pregnant, what if you hadn’t told DS yet? I’m annoyed for you.
@kpearse99 your thoughts about your cycle is kind of where I’m at too. I hope the feeling sticks
@madcouplewithabox I’m sorry for the BFN. That’s sweet about your DD asking to nurse as soon as you got home, but I would definitely be over it too by now.
@marebear15 I’m very glad your solved your DD’s sleeping mystery. Sleep is everything!
@habitzjo I’m sorry that you have constant reminders at work. Work is my mental escape from TTC so that has to be really hard. I’m making baskets for my nieces and nephews too. My oldest nephew is 5 and the others are little ones so they wouldn’t get it so this would probably be a great year to cut it off but I can’t resist.
@kbrown2385 great news about your DH’s SA results!
@spacemountaineer I’m sorry that your DS is still having sleep issues but the bathroom story is hilarious hahaha
@begging4abump I’m sorry for the BFN. Also even if you and your DH aren’t on the same page right now at least you guys are having good conversations about it. DH and I have convos about TTC and religion too and what we would do if it doesn’t happen on our own. It’s not easy.
Any thoughts about this cycle? Feeling oddly calm at the moment.
Any questions?
Rant/Rave/Brag: I’m off on Friday, so DD and I are going to an Easter egg hunt with my BFF and her little boy that’s just a few months younger. Then DD and I are going to meet DH for dinner at the place we had our first date (it’s our first date “anniversary” on Friday). I’ve been working so much so I’m excited to spend some quality time with all of the above.
GTKY: We will go to church and then have dinner at my in-laws. My parents bought DD a fancy Easter dress so we will probably make a stop over there too so that they can see her in it. We’re doing an egg hunt with my side of the family the following weekend. I always feel bad on holidays because it never seems like enough time with either family.
WTO/TWW? Waiting for H to get home from training 🤷🏻♀️
Ages of other child(ren)? 18 months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Just ready to get MH home and get back to trying
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave/Brag: its been a rough month but DS has been so so sweet and my mom is in town visiting and has been so much help during all the times he’s not so sweet. Also. DS is teething. Not cool.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Cooking a lot! We have some friends coming over for dinner so that will be nice because it’s just me, my mom, and DS. Also going to several Easter egg hunts in the area
Any questions? Nope.Going for my annual today, so hoping everything is normal.
Rant/Rave/Brag: Rant: My allergies are brutal right now and my ear has been bothering me for days. DH has a nasty cough that's keeping us both up at night. Also, MIL was in town this weekend, and it's time to set some more boundaries with DS. He runs to her whenever he doesn't get his way with us and she coddles him so bad. She says "It's her right as a grandmother to spoil him." Ummmm no, not when it's interfering with our parenting. Rave: Short work week!
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? DH's birthday is Thursday, and we're both off Friday. We're going to dinner and a concert Saturday, and my mom is watching DS. Then Sunday morning, we'll hide eggs for DS and give him his basket and eat a big breakfast. I may enjoy a few mimosas! We're not religious, so no church for us, but hoping to just enjoy the day together.
@MrsJessS I am so sorry for your loss and for the failure of words to take away any of that pain.
@kpearse99 mh and I are not on the same page, but it at least felt better to dump all my feelings out on the table. Based on another bfn this morning (12dpo), we’re going to have to make decisions. Neither of us is on the fence with how we feel; we’re just on opposite sides. Ehh, we’ll be ok. I hope you’re feeling more well rested today.
Any thoughts about this cycle? I got a positive OPK on Saturday morning and I still don’t have a temp rise so I’m nervous it isn’t going to happen. But my cervix is very high, soft, and open so that’s good.
Any questions?
Rant/Rave/Brag: I’ve been gone for a couple weeks because we’ve had craziness going on at our apartment and then we’ve been out of town over the weekends and I just feel like I haven’t been able to take a moment. We just had our follow-up with the RE yesterday and DH’s SA results came back with 2.4% morph. So if I’m not pregnant this cycle, we’re going to do oral meds for me again but add an IUI. I’m pretty frustrated because even after the meeting DH is like “I still don’t see why we have to do the IUI” and I was telling him that his morph went from 10% in 2016 to 2.4% so that’s a big change. And he just seemed in denial. So it annoyed me. I did 18 months of this stuff to get our DD and I’ve been doing 4+ months of this now and he still doesn’t want to accept doing anything.... I mean, he’s going to do it but he’s complaining. (Eyeroll)
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Going to see my Nana! She’s DD middle name sake and hasn’t gotten to see her for over a year!
@bows22 let's enjoy the calm together! Also, so happy you will get some quality family time in on Friday. Sounds like it's setting up to be a wonderful fun-filled day for you guys. I'm taking off Friday too and I'm looking forward to spending the day with DS! We made lunch plans with our neighbors (his friend from school and my new mom friend!)
@MrsJessS I am so so sorry to see you've found yourself back here Sending you hugs... also, I'm happy your mom has been there for you and DS while YH has been away training...when does he come home?!
@MrsVP614 Happy birthday to YH! I hope you guys have a great time at dinner and the concert. Also....mmmmmmm Mimosas!!! Those will totally be on the agenda Sunday morning So much yum!

@begging4abump - So glad that you and YH were able to have a good chat about TTC. DH and I aren't really sure how far we'd go in getting treatments, especially since it's all OOP. Glad that potty training is going better than at the beginning!
@shamrocandroll - Got another notification this morning. Maybe it's from this board trying to notify us of all the replies?
@m6agua - Meal prepping is so hard, but so worth it in the end.
@kbrown2385 - That's a beautiful area! I have a friend that teaches school in Greenville.
@bows22 - Sounds like you have an amazing weekend planned, full of great friends and family and quality time!
@MrsJessS - So so sorry to see you back here and for your loss. I had an early loss at 4 weeks and 6 days, but those 10 days I was pregnant were good days. I'm glad that your mom is able to be there for you.
@kpearse99 thank you. I don’t actually know yet. It should be by the end of the month. Hopefully. He should have his phone back around Easter and I’ll know more then. Maybe. The military is fun 🤦🏻♀️
@marebear15 it’s amazing how much excitement you can feel so quickly
@marebear15 So, I finally went into my system settings and blocked notifications from TB app. That seems to have fixed it. Also, I got a very generic and non-sympathetic response from the support email people (shocker) that just annoyed me further.

@mokay19 have fun with your nana! I’m sure she will be thrilled to see your DD.
@kpearse99 I’m glad things are still going well with your new mom friend! I think looking forward to being off Friday is distracting me from TTC and helping with the calm!
@shamrocandroll The comments from people who snap their fingers and get pregnant are so painful. I'm sorry. I also keep getting the 'empty' notifications. (I saw @marebear15 is getting them too; I was in a BMB but I haven't had a loss, so at least that's not the intention behind it. But still...really bad form for a TTGP/pregnancy app. Hugs to you both.)
@kpearse99 So sweet that he still wants mom when he's scared
@marebear15 FX you get answers with your testing! Also omg your upcoming weekend sounds glorious!
@habitzjo I'm so sorry that work is tough on your TTC brain. That would be so hard!
@kbrown2385 I'm glad the SA came back normal. Hope your weekend in NC is great!
@spacemountaineer That's great news for your sister, but of course, still hard to hear. I'm cracking up at your DS with the OPK/HPTs.
@begging4abump I'm glad you and your H had a productive conversation. Hopefully you can come to an agreement on where to go from here.
@m6agua DH and I need to go back to meal prepping. Having lunches for work prepared is so much easier (and cheaper).
@bows22 Your quality time this weekend sounds wonderful!
@MrsJessS I'm glad your DS has been mostly sweet. FX his teeth come in ASAP!
@MrsVP614 I'm ragey at your MIL for you! So frustrating. My mom/MIL haven't done anything like that yet, but I could see it happening when DD is a little older.
@mokay19 Sorry your H is being frustrating. At least you have an action plan if needed (but hopefully this cycle is it for you!).
Any thoughts about this cycle? Wellll yesterday/this morning I'm extra emotional. DH hit me in the eye with a ball (didn't hurt) and I started bawling. I decided to go pee on a stick actually. BFN so I'm hoping this means AF is near and I can start a fresh cycle and temp and sort of know what's going on!
Any questions? Nah.
Rant/Rave/Brag: Rant is DD at mealtimes. Some days she can't get enough food, other days she throws everything to the dogs. Last night she threw all of her pasta on the ground, then ate a few bites if I fed them to her. Then when we went upstairs to hang out in her room for a while before bedtime she started screaming and banging on the door...so I opened it and followed her. She went to the stairs, we went down, and when we got to the kitchen she goes, "Cracker?!" So yeah, she was super hungry and filled up on crackers.
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Easter has never been a thing for me, really. My mom would do baskets (not religious). DH was raised Catholic but he's pretty much lapsed, though last year he made a nice 'linner.' We still need to get stuff for DD's basket...guess that'll happen Saturday. And DH & I are both way too introverted to go to an egg hunt, lol. The year DD asks to go to one, that's when we'll go.
Any thoughts about this cycle? I hope this the one. I have an appointment with my new OB or her leave replacement on the 24th.
Any questions? Ummmm I’m just wondering how to broach the subject of being 36 and hitting that 6 month mark of trying with the OB (although I probably won’t ovulate until after my appointment).
Rant/Rave/Brag: Spring break starts Friday
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Meal at the IL, might go to church with them. DS is obsessed with hunting for eggs all over the living room.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@shamrocandroll I’m shaking my fist at the world for you, but happy you got to bring your pup home. Yay for getting off the bench! @MJDsquared I’m sorry you’re in limbo. It’s a sucky place to be. @kpearse99 That was a scary storm! It hit us, too. @madcouplewithabox Weaning is so hard! DS is getting nothing because I have had to drop my supply since it was messing with my hormones so badly and boy is he not having it. It’s really the only thing that makes him have a tantrum. @marebear15 My son is the same way. He will gobble a Gogurt, some cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. and go back to sleep. Otherwise he’s up for hours crying. @kbrown2385 I’m sorry this cycle isn’t working out, but glad the SA results were okay. @begging4abump Boo to the BFN. @mokay19 That’s so frustrating. I hope he comes around fast! @MrsJessS sorry to see you back. There are lots of us who have been through it unfortunately, so don’t hesitate to reach out. @MrsVP614 Hope your appointment went well! @m6agua It stinks that your timing wasn’t good. Lots of us have been in the same company the last few weeks.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I so feel you on the eating! DS is exactly the same way. I’ve tried everything I can think of to get better results, with very minor improvements. I wish you luck! And know you are doing great, even if she doesn’t want to eat my the food, you’re doing a great job providing it.
@NYTino24 I’m turning 36 soon and have an OB appt coming up so I’ve been wondering that too. That’s so cute about your DS and hunting eggs, my DD is the same age but doesn’t get it yet. Maybe we should keep practicing haha
Any thoughts about this cycle? Got a
positive OPK today at lunch so HIO for the next 3 days. Thank God my family
left today and O stayed away.
Any questions? Nah
Rant/Rave/Brag: Party went great. It was shorter
than I would have liked given how much time I put into planning and setting up
for it but it was still fun. DD wasn’t really interested in the cake… just
another way she is more like DH than me.
It was such a busy week but no rest for this
one for another few more weeks. DH’s grandma and aunt in town for 2 weeks,
Easter, half marathon, travel… I’m so exhausted!
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter?
Saturday will be egg dying (which I’m not really that interested in so I’ll try
to get out of it by taking care of DD) and probably church with DH’s family.
Sunday will be with my extended family for Easter Bingo in the afternoon.
@shamrocandroll – yay for being off the bench
soon! Sorry about the blindside at the breeder.
@kpearse99 – aw that’s so adorable about your
DS needing you during the thunderstorm. Definitely cherish those moments.
@madcouplewithabox – sorry about the BFN and
looming AF. I haven’t even thought about DD’s basket. Oddly this will be her first
Easter even though she’s one since it was so early last year and so late this
year. Not sure what to do for it yet.
@marebear15 – that’s so great that you figured
out what was going on with DD. I can definitely tell a difference in sleep
quality with DD based on her dinner.
@habitzjo – ugh sorry about all the craziness
with the OPK reader and TTC struggles this time around. FX it doesn’t last much
longer for you.
@kbrown2385 – I’m so glad that your DH’s SA
results came back normal. Your Easter plans sound really fun!
@spacemountaineer – that’s nice that you don’t
have to worry about your siblings bugging you at your brother’s wedding but it’s
unfortunate how many of your family members have dealt with infertility. That’s
so funny about DS with the OPKs/HPTs! I hope DS’s sleep gets better ASAP!
@begging4abump – sorry about the BFNs. FX for
you still!
@m6agua – sorry about bad timing this cycle. GL
with the meal prepping this week. I hope you can/have gotten back on track
after being sick.
@bows22 – DH and my’s first date anniversary is
also this month. Last year we didn’t do anything so hopefully maybe we can do
something this year. Enjoy all the quality time with your family this weekend!
@mrsjesss – yay for YH coming back soon! How much
longer until he gets back? Hopefully he comes back right around FW so you don’t
have to wait too much longer to start trying.
@mrsvp614 – I hope you can find a good balance
with MIL. We’ve also had a tough time with boundaries with the grandparents.
@mokay19 – FX for O soon! Sorry about your DH
not being on board with IUI.
@mjdsquared – sorry about the BFN and being
extra emotional at the moment. I hope that DD gets better with mealtimes. We
are having similar problems with our DD as well.
@NYTino24 – I’d still bring it up with your OB
because you are there. The worst they can do is say come back next month. I’ll
be saying something to mine if I’m not KU by my next annual and I’m not even
over 35 (it’s not until Aug though). Hopefully they can start getting the ball
rolling on some testing.

GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? We're actually not 100% sure yet! I'm waiting to hear from MH about whether or not he has to work Saturday. If not, we'll head down to MA for the weekend to spend it with family. If so, then I guess we'll do something low key by ourselves at home. I'm really hoping we can spend it with family.

@madcouplewithabox So sorry about the BFN.

@habitzjo I am so sorry to hear about YH's accident, that's so scary but it seems like the long recovery road is finally winding down? How is he now? I love the Easter basket idea for little party favors!! I hope your DS has a great birthday weekend!

Any thoughts about this cycle? If I do get pregnant great, if not I'm not going to be disappointed.
*TW* pregnancy mentioned (do I need a TW for that on TFAS? I was wondering as it says "Pregnancy may also be mentioned" in the op)

@kpearse99 - enjoy your Easter-filled weekend!
@madcouplewithabox - way to be on top of things by already having the DD's basket done.
@habitzjo - I'm sorry you're struggling. That would be hard to be in a place where you see positive results everyday.
@kbrown2385 - glad the results came back normal!
I'm sorry I tend to post on Mondays and go quiet the rest of the week. I do read what you write (I can't "love tit" as I am often on my phone). Sometimes this thread grows really quickly and I get overwhelmed.

TTC#2 April 2019@kpeparse99 That is such a sweet moment between you and your DS.
@marebear15 Hopefully food does the trick with your DD sleeping through the night. Maybe a growth spurt and she just needs a bit more right now. I swear they always get on a sleep schedule and then suddenly switch it up to keep us on our toes.
@habitzjo I'm glad your DH is on the mend.
@kbrown2385 I hope you have fun at the zoo and with friends!
@begging4abump I'm glad potty training is going pretty good so far! I am so not ready to start with DD.
- BFP: 3/10/16 — Baby Girl born 11/20/16
TTC#2 April 2019@begging4abump exciting potty training is going well! It’s good you and yh were able to get all
of that off chests
@shamrocandroll congrats on the puppy! Sorry for all the notifications. Hopefully you can get them figured out soon!
@m6agua I desperately need to get back into meal planning and prepping as well. Glad you were able to find some cute dresses!
@habitzjo welcome! I hope da has a great party this weekend!
@kpearse99 that is so sweet about your ds. Mine woke up all upset because the power went out at some point and turned his fan off lol.

@m6agua glad you are feeling better!
Month/Cycle? 5
WTO/TWW? TWW I think
Ages of other child(ren)? 16 months
Month/Cycle? 9/ (0AL)
@shamrocandroll Sorry about that experience at the produce stand. People suck sometimes.
@marebear15 @kbrown2385 Your upcoming weekends sound awesome!
What number are you trying for? 2
Month/Cycle? 4/4
WTO/TWW? WTO
Ages of other child(ren)? 19 months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Not yet.

@MrsVP614 mimosas! I may need to add those to our Easter plans too
@kpearse99 mh and I are not on the same page, but it at least felt better to dump all my feelings out on the table. Based on another bfn this morning (12dpo), we’re going to have to make decisions. Neither of us is on the fence with how we feel; we’re just on opposite sides. Ehh, we’ll be ok. I hope you’re feeling more well rested today.
@bows22 enjoy the calm and your date!
@MrsVP614 I hope allergies and grandma calm down.
Month/Cycle? 11/3?...4? Idk
WTO/TWW? WTO.... should be today
Ages of other child(ren)? 20 months

@kpearse99 So sweet that he still wants mom when he's scared
@madcouplewithabox I'm working on weaning my 15.5 month old. It's hard!

GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Meal at the IL, might go to church with them. DS is obsessed with hunting for eggs all over the living room.

@MJDsquared I’m sorry you’re in limbo. It’s a sucky place to be.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Got a positive OPK today at lunch so HIO for the next 3 days. Thank God my family left today and O stayed away.
Any questions? Nah
Rant/Rave/Brag: Party went great. It was shorter than I would have liked given how much time I put into planning and setting up for it but it was still fun. DD wasn’t really interested in the cake… just another way she is more like DH than me.
It was such a busy week but no rest for this one for another few more weeks. DH’s grandma and aunt in town for 2 weeks, Easter, half marathon, travel… I’m so exhausted!
GTKY: What are your plans for Easter? Saturday will be egg dying (which I’m not really that interested in so I’ll try to get out of it by taking care of DD) and probably church with DH’s family. Sunday will be with my extended family for Easter Bingo in the afternoon.
@shamrocandroll – yay for being off the bench soon! Sorry about the blindside at the breeder.
@kpearse99 – aw that’s so adorable about your DS needing you during the thunderstorm. Definitely cherish those moments.
@madcouplewithabox – sorry about the BFN and looming AF. I haven’t even thought about DD’s basket. Oddly this will be her first Easter even though she’s one since it was so early last year and so late this year. Not sure what to do for it yet.
@marebear15 – that’s so great that you figured out what was going on with DD. I can definitely tell a difference in sleep quality with DD based on her dinner.
@habitzjo – ugh sorry about all the craziness with the OPK reader and TTC struggles this time around. FX it doesn’t last much longer for you.
@kbrown2385 – I’m so glad that your DH’s SA results came back normal. Your Easter plans sound really fun!
@spacemountaineer – that’s nice that you don’t have to worry about your siblings bugging you at your brother’s wedding but it’s unfortunate how many of your family members have dealt with infertility. That’s so funny about DS with the OPKs/HPTs! I hope DS’s sleep gets better ASAP!
@begging4abump – sorry about the BFNs. FX for you still!
@m6agua – sorry about bad timing this cycle. GL with the meal prepping this week. I hope you can/have gotten back on track after being sick.
@bows22 – DH and my’s first date anniversary is also this month. Last year we didn’t do anything so hopefully maybe we can do something this year. Enjoy all the quality time with your family this weekend!
@mrsjesss – yay for YH coming back soon! How much longer until he gets back? Hopefully he comes back right around FW so you don’t have to wait too much longer to start trying.
@mrsvp614 – I hope you can find a good balance with MIL. We’ve also had a tough time with boundaries with the grandparents.
@mokay19 – FX for O soon! Sorry about your DH not being on board with IUI.
@mjdsquared – sorry about the BFN and being extra emotional at the moment. I hope that DD gets better with mealtimes. We are having similar problems with our DD as well.
@NYTino24 – I’d still bring it up with your OB because you are there. The worst they can do is say come back next month. I’ll be saying something to mine if I’m not KU by my next annual and I’m not even over 35 (it’s not until Aug though). Hopefully they can start getting the ball rolling on some testing.
