@kpearse99 Girl you know what, that is legit the most common advice I've received so far so I'm just gonna go with the flow!! (literally and figuratively lolll)
@whitealbum29 and yes I am dying to go back already, we've been back in the USA for just about 8 months, I'm cold and I miss the beach!! Haha! But Chicago is lovely :-)
@ktmaesim we went to Australia for 2 weeks in December and absolutely fell in love with that place! I wish I could spend significant time travelling there ♥️
Ages (you and SO): I am 33 and husband is 35
How many months have you been TTC?: 1st month
What are you doing to get knocked up?: Having fun! More relaxed this time than the first time around! Also, on Letroz!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have an almost 3 year old boy and a 1 year old golden retriever girl. Love travelling and reading and have recently experimenting with Acrylic Pour painting which more often than not is leaving me frustrated! But yeah enjoying it and it feels so therapeutic so chugging along and have a handful of good ones to show for it too 😊 was working before our first kid was born but have been a SAHM since
@Pranks Welcome! I love that you do painting for self care.
**Spoiler mentions my son** I give you credit for being SAHM for 3 years. I have been staying home with my son for only 4 months and am already looking for a babysitter one day a week. It is amazing but hard.

@Pranks what was your favorite part??? I love asking people that have visited! And your an acrylic painter?? So interested in that! Art is always therapeutic I believe. :-)
Ages (you and SO): I’m 26 going on 27 next month and my DH is 32
How many months have you been TTC?: We’ve been trying to conceive since November, so about 5-6 months.
**TW** We were pregnant last September and had our baby for a whole month until we lost her on September 24. However, it was the most joy-filled month of our lives. We’re emotionally much better now but it’s been quite the roller coaster. This is my first time back on The Bump since then because I have missed having a community. TTC can be a very hopeful and trying time. I look forward to getting to know y’all so we can lean on each other through it all. **end TW**
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Taking BBT every morning we remember. Getting healthy again and losing this winter fluff lol
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): happily employed as a State worker which means working 7 AM - 3:30 PM and I LOVE it. Very involved with my church with different ministries. And currently learning how to play DND (Dungeons and Dragons) haha
@beccabek92 it is a great community! Oh about me... we have been trying for 8 cycles, we have a cute pup, I enjoy lifting and Ron Swanson is my spirit animal lol.
I was so worried this wasn’t the right place to post about TWs thank y’all for making me feel so welcome
@brookert615 haha I love it! I am the Leslie Knope to your Ron Swanson. Yay for the puppers and props on lifting. I’m reintroducing workouts and am struggling to light my own body weight with yoga. You’re an inspiration!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPK and Fertility Friend for now
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have an approximately 5 year old rescue dog (cocker spaniel/beagle/dachshund) who is the light of our lives...She is so unbelievably spoiled and attached to us that I'm actually afraid how she'll react to a baby! But her love is easily bought with food so I hope it works out in the end.
@beccabek92 I am so very sorry to learn about your loss, my heart and thoughts are with you and YH Welcome to the group! I saw your comment about getting back into working out and yoga - we have a weekly Healthy Habits thread where we do check-ins to see how everyone is doing and what healthy habits they are working on that week. It's great for accountability - I hope you'll join us there!
@jpalacios892 Welcome! What an interesting dog mix you've got! I have a full bread dachshund, he's the sweetest!! A year ago we rescued a puppy that we were told was a beagle dachshund mix.... they were pretty off as she's neither of those and mostly and American Fox Hound!

@jpalacios892 welcome!!! Im on my first month as well, only using OPK as well. I'd love to see that mix of a dog, love cocker spaniels (minus the peeing ours always did LOL) and dachshunds!

Lol, ours is definitely an excited/happy peer. I guess it must come from the cocker spaniel side of her!!!
My in-laws have a dachshund; he is incredible sweet.
@lilchameleon@jpalacios892 Welcome! My husband and I love spicy foods as well. We used to grow bhut jolokias, but we have put that on hold until we get moved and settled! We will have to settle for our dried (carolina reaper, bhut jolokia, and ghost pepper) flakes for now My hubby can handle way more spice than me, but I do enjoy it quite a lot!
