Anyone else already feeling like they walk differently? I don’t even have much of a bump. It’s more like my hips just decided to go their separate ways 😂. I’m a FTM at 22 weeks. When did y’all feel the change with your current and/or previous pregnancies?
I can’t tell if I’m waddling noticeably, but I definitely swing my hips more widely when I walk and I’m definitely standing differently (constant lower back pain - ugh!)
@jenniferjoy37@mamahmh2 I haven’t been called on it yet either. It’s just a feeling when I’m walking like I physically take up more space and it takes a greater physical toll too.
@cb123391 I bet! Double the load! I’m shocked I feel it this soon but not surprised at all that you do! Lol.
Oh I for sure feel it! Especially if I’ve been sitting for awhile or just finished eating. I think I started feeling it around 23 weeks. Becoming more and more used to it
With #1 i started the waddle (aka pregnancy swag) around week 32+
Just last week a guy at work who I don't see often saw me coming down the hall... he asked "Are you okay? You're limping a bit" ... I said nope, just pregnant and moved my sweater over to show the bump. hahaha did he ever put his foot in his mouth. So I guess the waddle for me has begin. Week 23 STM.
Yep. I feel like I've been waddling for a while now. My hips started hurting really early. My belly is obviously huge so no one would call me in it at this point:)
If I'm walking at my regular pace which is fast, I don't waddle. If I'm walking slow, I do and its so much more uncomfortable. Everyone keeps telling me to slow down when I walk, but it hurts it's just not natural.
After lurking in this thread I found myself walking today wondering if I was waddling 😂 my husband says he can’t wait until I waddle, I give him the death stare when he says that lol!
I'm with @mom2b77373. If I've been sitting for a while or just ate more than I probably should have, the waddle is on. Which means I was waddling most of this weekend thanks to sitting and watching basketball for 7+ hours almost straight. I felt SO sexy
I was recovering from a back issue right before the BFP, and part of keeping it under control is making sure I am not swinging my hips when I walk. Its been hard to not do it recently, and didn't realize that was part of "the waddle". Couldn't figure out why I was having so much trouble. Thank goodness its normal, and I'm not going crazy! @nopegoat glad you can commiserate!

@panaceia mine did too. I do have really narrow hips despite being a bigger woman so maybe my hips just have more work to do and started early lol.
