  • @kopp5988 it must have been so hard to fake drink at a winery. Did your H drink your drink or something?

Mine actually read the test for me lol. I really didn’t think it was going to be positive after my negatives.
  • Thank you @inthewoods23!

@creamcheeseplease I just told them I was in my TWW and period was only a couple days away so I didn’t want to chance it. Which isn’t totally a lie since I got my BFP at 11DPO.  Aww well I’m glad he could give you the good news then!

  • +1 on waiting for the BMB to open.  I just tested positive yesterday but by my LMP, I’m guessing that puts my DD as the 5/6.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Thank you.  One of my all-time favorite movies!

  • Pretty quiet here so far.. what are you guys up to tonight? @kopp5988 @mycousinvinnie

im doing laundry and letting my son watch nursery rhymes for a bit. I’m definitely going to bed early though. I’m really tired, a lot more tired than I remember being with my son. It’s so early for that! I’m only 4w today.
  • @prpl11butterfly thank you!!

@creamcheeseplease I totally failed at chores this weekend, also crazy tired and I won’t be 4 weeks til tomorrow. Seems strange so early on but idk what else would be causing it. I made butternut squash risotto for dinner and it was delicious. Now I’m just watching parks and rec with my husband relaxing with tea.

  • We had a really low key weekend, my parents came for dinner and we did some yard work.  It was gray and raining today so naturally, I feel super sleepy.

    creamcheeseplease
  • @kopp5988 butternut squash risotto sounds delicious!

@mycousinvinnie rainy days always make me sleepy too.

Its crazy windy here and I could hear it howling through the window all night. So annoying. I also called and made my intake appointment with the nurse and then my OB appointment, not until 3/25.
  • @creamcheeseplease it’s delicious, I make it about 1 Sunday a month. And I’ve got leftovers for lunch today, which are starting to call my name. The wind is crazy here too today. And that’s gonna be a long month wait!  My OB said they schedule for 8 weeks pregnant so I’ll have about the same wait as you before then.

@mycousinvinnie we also had a lazy rainy day yesterday

I went to the OB this morning for a walk-in blood draw to check my levels. They said it’ll take 24-48 hours for results. It’s taking everything in me not to go buy more sticks to pee on every morning to make sure everything is all good. I took the only two I had Saturday and Sunday, Sunday was darker than Saturday, which was still pretty dark, but I’m paranoid.

    creamcheesepleasemycousinvinnie
  • @kopp5988 that's nice that you can have your levels drawn. I'm in the same boat, I have no more tests. I kind of want to go get more, but I know its sort of a waste. My OB doesn't do levels unless you have had previous complications. They do draw blood around week 6 but I never saw any beta levels on the results. Hopefully the month will go quick. I'm already considering getting an earlier appointment since I know my OB would see me after week 6, but I know I should just stick it out.

Work is so annoying today.. I ordered some shelving for my boss in like October. Now I am being told there is a $550 expedited shipping charge. Um no, we received these shelves in November and they most certainly were not expedited and I most certainly am not paying for this.
  • @creamcheeseplease wait so the company is trying to charge you for expedited shipping on something that already shipped and was delivered?!
  • @kopp5988 haha yeah. Ridiculous.
  • I bought 2 more pregnancy tests this morning on my way into work because I keep feeling the need to retest over and over again. I hate myself lol
  • I'll probably pick up one more pack this weekend when I go to Walmart on Saturday, but that'll be it. I hope.
  • @creamcheeseplease I hope you’re able to control yourself better than me. I also ordered a box of cheapies from amazon because I can’t handle being completely in the dark between now and an 8-week appointment.

  • @kopp5988 were they the easy at home ones?
  • @creamcheeseplease I got the Wondfo brand ones

  • Hi! Just got my BFP! Due date should be November 11th according to my LMP. Super early test on the FRER. Fingers crossed hard, as I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago.

Sending you all love and all the positive vibes!
    creamcheesepleasemycousinvinnie
  • @amyjay23 Congratulations!! Sending the positive vibes back at you
  • Congratulations everyone!

Got my bfp 6 days ago. My EDD is November 1st based on my last AF.  I’m a STM and have a 3 year old son.  We’ve been trying for a year and 7 months so I’m excited this is finally happening! When I tried with my first, I got pregnant the first month.

My DH and I are both music teachers.

@MusicalFamily congratulations!! Have you told YH?

I love that more people are joining our party!

Got my blood results from Monday back this evening and hearing the doctor say I’m pregnant made it seem all that much more real. I’ll go back tomorrow for the 48 hour follow up test.

    creamcheesepleasemycousinvinnie
  • Yes! I couldn’t hold it in. I bought a shirt a while back for my son that says everyone loves a big brother so I could surprise my husband with it haha! We are so excited and blessed :) I had my blood test on Monday night so I should be getting my results back today. Tomorrow I go in for another blood test and u/s. Yay for a definite pregnancy!
