GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

R/R: One of us keeps falling asleep without us DTD. DH was supposed to wake me up two nights ago when he came upstairs, but didn’t... and last night he took melatonin. So frustrating. Also, our tension gate on the stairwell was too tight and it cracked the Sheetrock pretty badly. DH is not handy with that kind of thing, so it’s not gonna be replaced until we hire someone to do our kitchen.

R/R: not much to r/r about, just hoping tonight’s storm is bad enough to close work.
CS/Q: not much to see, using a different thermometer and my temps are about 2 degrees lower.
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? Painting. If I had a nice place to keep my stuff I would do it more often.
@holly321 what kinds of paints do you like? I always liked water colors and oils.

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole CD3-7, OPKs, BBT
R/R: I’m on 12-hour night shifts so my chart is all over the place, and I don’t get to play much here. Good news though, the OPK I took a few hours ago was finally getting darker. I’m hoping to have an actual positive by the time I wake up today!
CS/Q: none
GTKY: I miss art (drawing mostly, but painting too). I’m actually quite good, but I just don’t have the time, money, or patience for it now.
@holly321 snow or rain storm? Hopefully you get out of work!
@daffodil_shoe FX for a +OPK today!

R/R: finally made it back in the gym this morning! I feel like I gained 30# over the weekend...I ate so much sugar and other crap. Delicious but I feel so heavy. Time to go on a mini detox before I go on vacation Friday...
CS/Q: I mean....it’s bad. I also forgot how bad I am at reading lines on wondos. Yesterday was *pretty* close so I counted it as +. I’ll see what it does today 🤷🏼♀️
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? I’m with NYtino- would love to just travel, take a ton of pictures, and eat all the food. So I guess...travel blogging? I like to write too!

GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? Probably Photography, I really love pictures and wish I could afford classes to learn more.
@holly321 A dedicated space for a hobby is so crucial to be able to enjoy it.
@daffodil_shoe it's sad that you can't make time for drawing! MH is the same way. Everything else about life has gotten in the way.
@b_1029 where are you going on vacation? Take me with you? Lol
@kimmer1412 I think photography is one of my favorite forms of art. What kind of things do you like to photograph?

GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
Definitely travel of some kind. I like the idea of doing photography too, but I have no real training in that and my camera would be the one on my phone. I think more realistically I'd like to do waterskiing, or snowboarding as a hobby. And maybe get more into fishing. Something that's fun.

GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? I’d love to be able to work more with my silhouette machine. There are so many possibilities with it, I’ve barely touched the surface of what it can do.
@holly321 Two degrees is a huge difference!
@daffodil_shoe We aren’t alone at dinner time. Plus I get home and start unpacking and repacking lunchboxes while serving dinner and doing dishes. Then it’s bath and bed.
@b_1029 DH usually leaves around 5 am, so it’s a possibility sometimes like in the FW if necessary if we are able to be alone at that time. We tried once when we weren’t and got all sorts of funny looks about why the bed was moving. Haha... Now it wouldn’t be safe IYKWIM. What specially would you blog about?

@b_1029 I’m with you on feeling like you gained weight overnight the weekend. Glad you were able to get back to the gym this morning! You motivated me to do my yoga this morning.
@kimmer1412 I admire people who have the eye for photography. It can be really beautiful.
@inthewoods23 sorry about having to skip smep tonight! I’m jealous you can snowboard. Ive tried that in the past and decided winter sports are just not for me. I’ll stick to watching it on the Olympics.
@kerco925 I agree, af is the most relaxing time of the cycle, minus the whole af part lol. What brand ubiquinol are you taking? I want to start dh and I on it but don’t know a good brand to get.
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: Tempdrop, tracking CM, HIO EOD, pressed, low caffeine intake.
R/R: DH is off for 2 or 3 days and then he works 2 nights. This is right in the middle of my expected FW. I'm not stressing about this though. *TW-loss mentioned* AF was still a little wonky this cycle so I'm assuming things are still working on healing after my loss in December.
CS/Q: nothing to see yet.
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? I would love to take lots of dance classes. Time is more of the issue with this though. Classes for me are usually offered late at night and that doesn't work well for our lifestyle.
And actually, in that case, then I should definitely say going swimming more often. I was on the swim team and loved it and just do leisurely now, but it would be so nice to soak. Does this mean I can make soaking in the geothermal pools of Iceland a hobby? Cuz that sounds amazing right now!

@holly321 Hope you get your wish for work getting closed! Painting is so fun - what do you like to paint/what are your favorite styles?
@daffodil_shoe FX you get that +OPK! I can't believe we have so many artists here! I agree - just a lot. I need to get all new paints, brushes, and pencils!
@b_1029 Wooo! Glad you made it back to the gym! Weekends are for treats lol! Oh blogging would be so cool!!!
@kimmer1412 They have online classes that are pretty cheap! A lot of people are starting the iPhone photo movement and they're pretty nice photos!
@inthewoods23 Sorry YH works late - maybe take a power nap and be ready for him when he comes home? LOL. Dang girl - water-skiing? That sounds so fun!
@kerco925 I agree with AF being not as stressful! There's a website called SkillShare that teaches some artsy stuff for pretty cheap if you want to get into that!
@kbrown2385 Oh - that book has been on my list! Glad you were able to get some good recommendations on it! Hopefully your RE is receptive!!! Oh that machine is so cool! I want one!

GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? Oh... I can't choose. I would love to travel and get back into photography just like some of you!!! But I have been itching to paint lately and do some woodworking! I also was thinking of starting to offer calligraphy services but it is SO TIME CONSUMING.
EDIT: tags!

@holly321 stay safe during the storm.
@daffodil_shoe hopefully you get a +OPK today.
@b_1029 I started back at the gym this week. Yesterday my muscles were sore before I went to bed and now I can barely move. Have fun on your vacation!
@kimmer1412 I love photography too. I took some classes in college while I was an art major.
@inthewoods23 I like the idea of snowboarding but I'm so scared I would really hurt myself. DH wants to get a vacation house in the mountains and rent it out as airBNB so we can go every year. I would have to stick to the bunny slopes or just sledding.
@kerco925 I also enjoy how laid back the first part of my cycle is. Not stressing over temps, OPKs and timing is so nice.
@kbrown2385 y'all have me convinced I need to be reading that book. I may see if I can download it on my tablet sometimes today.
@brookert615 I have used the CB digitals in the past and I also have never O-ed before CD 17, ever. I checked my previous charts and it looks like I used to start around CD 13 or 14 with them.
@kerco925 I totally feel the same way about AF!
@kbrown2385 I had to google what that machine is - cool! what do you usually do with it? Good job doing yoga!
@NYTino24 I'm trying to read between the lines but I'm not sure I know what you mean
@emeraldcity1214 I'm glad you aren't stressing about YH's schedule! Did you dance before? What kind? I always think those dance classes look SO cool, but I have 0 ability. Good job getting back in the gym! I'm also convinced I need to read this book.
@brookert615 is that a continuation of your illness from the weekend? I'm sorry you're feeling so bad! Which clearblue ones did you get? I wish I could help with the last part, but I O early.
@emeraldcity1214 everyone tells me learning to ski is easier than snowboarding, but the first time I had tried waterskiing my leg ended up flailing or something so I walked with a slight limp for about 2 days since it over-extended. Snowboarding your feet are kept at the same distance apart! TheresT nothing wrong with sticking to the bunny slopes 🙂
@b_1029 my midcycle US is this Thursday so we'll see! My guess is early to mid next week. Never been to Montreal! I'll go anywhere if that means being away from stress and work!

@kimmer1412 I don't have any links right now but there are a ton of free photography classes online. A lot of pro photographers are sharing tips. I learned a lot. Balancing whites has made all the difference.
@inthewoods23 good luck this cycle!
@kerco925 You can be involved in something artsy without having to be the one producing the art. You could be managing art galleries!
@kbrown2385 I am going to look into that book. What is the most surprising thing you learned?
@emeraldcity1214 I agree with you about classes and timing.

WAYDTGKU: SMEP-ish, OPKs, prenatal vitamins for him/her, DTD, Ava bracelet
R/R: first day back to work after a long weekend is a bummer but I’m loving my new tattoo!
CS/Q: not really, just trying to get a hang of when I’m likely ovulating (yesterday?today?tomorrow?) between OPKs and Ava data.
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? I did a ton of theater in high school/college and I miss it. The time commitment just doesn’t work for my life now but maybe someday...
@brookert615 I've tried those before and liked them! I am a horrible line reader so I liked taking the guesswork out of it. Glad you like them!
@kbrown2385 whoa that stuff is so cool! I love that one with the maps.
@rikiteacup dang sounds like your job is a cluster. Glad you're getting out of there! My body definitely hates me - so many wallballs and heavy squats...I'm wearing (short) heeled boots today and my legs are definitely protesting.
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Currently Benched.
OvuSense temping, fertiliTEA, just started Maca, PNV, supplements for DH
R/R: Nata currently
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
Running again. $$ isn’t the issue, just the time.
@holly321 which type of painting? I’ve done a bunch of big acrylic paintings, but I’ve been trying to motivate myself to work with oil since I like the look better and we have some old paint around here somewhere.
@daffodil_shoe I was just thinking about you! I hope you’ve been able to sneak in enough sleep.
@b_1029 ugh, I’m sure I’ll start obsessing over the cheap OPKs in a couple days trying to decipher degrees of darkness. 🙄 I hope your analysis was correct though!
@kimmer1412 sorry about the gloom.
@inthewoods23 lol @ “getting him”
@kerco925 ugh, I hate this lull. I want to be able to feel like I’m doing something. I think the hio part is the best part, lol, but it’s more because it’s the most hopeful...lol maybe it’s just the endorphins.
@kbrown2385 I had to look up the silhouette machine. It seems overwhelming with possibilities!!
@emeraldcity1214 Sorry about the timing, but I’m super impressed and jealous of your cool attitude. I need to accept what’s outside my control, but I can’t/won’t.
@brookert615 what kind of woodworking have you done? Mh and I made a couple painting frames together, but that’s it for fun stuff.
@rikiteacup that’s a crazy revolving door at your company!!
@rachelredhead May I ask what image you chose for your tattoo?
@madcouplewithabox boy, I would never pick running. To each her own!
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt, cm, SMEP
R/R: so many rants. 1) why does af stay so long? Finally rid of her today; I hope. 2) mil needs to stop texting me things that belong in spoilers. I got ANOTHER series from her today. 3) more spoiler-type announcements keep hitting me at unexpected times, besides from mil. 4) I need to be zen to have a shot but I’m all worked up, and THAT’s working me up, so it’s a circular problem. 5) this freaking house is falling apart. I gave up on it last night when I found a steady leak through the ceiling on the main floor. End rants.
On a positive note, insurance will cover most of the chipmunk damage
CS/Q:
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? Maybe gardening. I only buy plants on sale at this point, and pretty much only perennials, but I’d love to go crazy with it. Plus, I have more of a black thumb, so I’d need to keep replacing stuff as I learned, so having $ not be an issue would really help out that aspect. Choice #2 would be couples dance classes with mh. We took a class at a community college before we got married and had a blast!! Even got a private lesson to plan out our first dance.
Diagnosed with PCOS & Hashimoto's
Month/Cycle: Cycle 7 (month 9)
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: letrozole (one more day to go!), BBT, CM/CP, OPK, SMEP plans
R/R: rave - made crockpot buffalo chicken last night that was pretty darn good! And I have BlueApron arriving today to provide some variety in our lives!
CS/Q: nothing, nothing, nothing right now. Finally got back on the temping wagon, so only one lonely dot today.
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? If I had the time, I would totally get really into camping/hiking...I love disconnecting for a weekend and being outside, but wish I had more free weekend (not on-call) to go further away. Also, investing in good backpacking gear is pricey....
@rikiteacup probably the most surprising thing is unless you are doing ivf supplementing with melatonin is probably not a good idea since it can disrupt ovulation. Also that BPA is everywhere.

@b_1029 snow the freezing rain! And I too feel awful from eating delicious crappy food.
@rikiteacup hopefully you can stay away and beat of luck on what comes next. And no, the thermometers read nearly 2 degrees different.
@rachelredhead my moms family is from the same area. Last time I said that to someone, it turns out I have know his grandfather my entire life, lol.

R/R: the full moon feels as a teacher. Need I say more? Crazy parents, crazy kids. Thank goodness for an amazing team that we can keep each other laughing about it throughout the day! I finally told my teammate that MH and I are TTGP, and she let me talk to her about it today. Having been through it herself, I’m thankful to have told her so I have someone to talk to. Outside of you all of course!
CS/Q: none for now
GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
so many of your options sound amazing! I miss traveling. I would love to travel more. MH isn’t quite as adventurous as I am, so I don’t travel like I did before and I miss it!
@madcouplewithabox I love running! Before the craziness of this spring, I ran 3-4 miles a day. I need to get back into it.
@emeraldcity1214 girl I feel you on AF! She has got to go! With being new to this process, mine was way thrown off and weird. I usually don’t last very long. And I’m extra emotional and craving a lot of chocolate. It’s insane!
@b_1029 *TW LO mentioned* We have to watch our toddler and it’s not safe to DTD with him in the bedroom. */TW*
@begging4abump Those little chipmunks can do some major damage. They were all over my undergrad campus, especially in this one rock wall! We have a few in our yard now and they can create holes pretty fast. Hope it’s a relatively fast fix for you. Dance classes sound fun!
