Spotting and stress

I had a bfp last week. Yesterday at 5 weeks 2 days I began spotting. This is pregnancy number 4. I’ve never had anything like this before. Took blood at the doctor’s office yesterday and go back Wednesday. It’s light spotting, haven’t even accumulated hardly any on a panty liner in 24 hours, but every time I wipe there’s some there. Currently on bedrest, which is just so convenient with 3 kids 5 and under. Just trying to wait patiently and not stress too much. Even if the hcg levels are fine, how long should I expect to spot for?

Re: Spotting and stress

  • @mamakculb That’s really so hard to say since spotting is so common during this time. It’s best to keep in contact with your Doctor and be monitored until it lets up. Good luck to you and I hope you can get some extra help with your LOs.

  • Agree with PP spotting can be normal, but you should still let your OBgyn know so they can really decide what is normal/not for you.
