R/R: had a nice relaxing weekend but am equally stressed now about all the stuff I didn’t get done. I thought I was getting sick but seem to be better today so that’s a plus! I’m just hoping this next week and a halfish goes by quickly so I’m not obsessing over “symptoms”

R/R: so... Crazy snow storm today that started last night so I plan to work from home for at least part of the day so we don't have to shovel twice. Then we have bitter cold coming up! Weds is suppose to be -14 degrees! I plan on taking a PTO day because F getting stuck because your car won't start!

CS/Q: when apps don't agree... I wonder what they would say if I remove the OPKs

R/R: Was upset about BFN and MH told me I need to relax and maybe if we stop making HIO a chore it will just happen. I told him he wasn’t being helpful. I tried so hard to not make it a chore this month but it’s not easy when you’re doing shift work and trying not to miss O. I’m going for coffee with a friend this afternoon and then shopping tonight for my mom’s birthday, so hopefully that will get my mind off everything. 

CS/Q: FF said it was triphasic so I really had my hopes up.

@inthewoods23 that's so cold, I can't even imagine that kind of cold! I was looking at a windchill map where my parents live and it's like -55 on Weds. NO THANKS. Good call on taking the day off! How much snow are you all supposed to get today? Is it summer yet?

@misshelen86 I'm sorry for the BFN but it's not over till it's over! And sorry for the frustration with YH. I know they mean well, but some of the things they say can be SO frustrating. Hope you have fun with your friend and shopping, maybe you can pick up a little something for yourself

@b_1029 is it summer yet 🤣 yeah like, I would probably be fine with such a cold temp, but not when the wind chills are THAT cold. Yeah no, I'm going stay inside all day. I should probably venture to the grocery store later today (it's at least in the 20s today!) just so we have options to eat later this week when the world is frozen over. Estimated snow totals are like 8-12 or 15 inches. The winter storm warning started at 9PM but even at 10:30 last night I saw no snow. Waking up this morning... It's a lot and plows have already gone down our street so the end of the driveway is even higher. Seemed fluffy at least when I opened our side door in the garage to shovel a small amount as a check.

@misshelen86 with the weather we're having I'm like, what are you doing going out and getting coffee??? 😧 I had to remind myself that nobody else lives in my area where it's nasty

@inthewoods23 you did a trigger shot didn’t you? I would go off that info. But to me it looks like you O’d CD13.

@misshelen86 I’m sorry for the BFNs ☹️ I know YH meant well, but I always hated when people would tell me that! People aren’t magically infertile by purposely having sex during their FW, and only fertile when they aren’t “trying.” That’s just not how it works!

R/R: My auto-start wouldn’t work this morning, and then I had to drive home from my night shift in this freezing weather and crappy snow-covered roads. I was doing like 15 in a 25!

CS/Q: My temps were kinda funky this cycle so FF thinks I ovulated a day earlier than I think I ovulated. I always get two days of +OPKs, then I ovulate the following day. But it’s only a day difference so I guess not that big of a deal.

@b_1029 glad you didn't end up getting sick! Wishing you a speedy and SS-free TWW... (ok I couldn't type that with a straight face but the sentiment is there). 
@inthewoods23 your story about getting your post-IUI BD in made me laugh this weekend. Ah the things we do when TTC... Makes for the un-sexiest of conception stories

R/R: Rave: I'm still heeeeeeeeeere. Got through the weekend without testing. Temps still holding high, but that's never an indication of anything because they don't usually drop until a few days into AF. MF has his hopes up so high and I just have this feeling like I so desperately don't want to let him down. I know it's totally out of my control and it isn't something I can just "make" happen (or we all would've done it already) but he doesn't let himself get excited about testing but this time he's so hopeful for some good news and I feel like the Judge, Jury and Executioner of his dreams.
Rant: *TW*

his ex-wife had her baby on Saturday and has been spamming FB with pics and I NEED some good news of our own to drown out that nagging feelings of self-doubt he has because they tried for 7 years, meds, IUI, IVF, nothing... and he blames himself (even though it was medically proven that she had LOR). It's a goddamn miracle baby that was never meant to be. But here he is. All over FB. I asked him to unfollow her but the fact remains that it's still out there. 

In other news, we got a dumping of snow on the weekend and more coming tonight. Cancelled my meetings and plan to leave work early. Spent so much time shoveling yesterday and I feel like I was hit by a truck today. I really need to get in better shape lol, my HIO workouts are doing nothing for my back, glutes or arms.   

CS/Q: Sigh. Such a tease.

@inthewoods23 when my apps don't agree I always take out opks and any possible rogue temps. I'd probably go with Flo as it stands because the 25th is when it rose above your cover line, but I'm no expert lol

@daffodil_shoe I hate when my remote start doesn't work! I always look forward to that moment it's warm enough that your body will finally relax lol

R/R: Both a R & a R at the same time haha We think we're moving forward with selling our house (Yay), so I spent all day yesterday doing dump runs (Boo). Our truck has been at the shop for 5 months now (so much for the friend discount 🙄) and we kept putting off borrowing a truck hoping we'd get ours back soon. But I gave up in that idea and just started oiling cardboard in my suv and then borrowed my FILs last night so I can finish the actual trash today. 

CS/Q: it's looking good so far 🤞🏼

R/R: I'm in shock that I haven't even side-eyed a test yet this cycle... usually I'm all over it by now. In other news, the headache/sniffling from Friday that I was praying was just allergies is in fact a mild cold    But I'm here at work toughing it out because I'll be damned if I use a PTO day yet. DH also bought me pineapple core on Friday and I've been eating it all weekend because why not.

CS/Q: So I'm positive that my BBT needs new batteries because my temps are WAY off.. it said 97.1 this morning, and a couple minutes later, I used a regular thermometer and it said 98.3... so I added them together and split the difference! I asked DH to see if he can get me new batteries today. But now I'm questioning all of my temps.

Ok, little chart update: both apps agree on CD 13 if I remove the OPK tests. Which freaks me out because the IUI was the following morning. I just hope we didn't miss the egg!

Testing: WFAF at this point

R/R: used my FRER yesterday before leaving on my trip. I thought I might have seen the faintest of lines, so I took a digital and got BFN. I'm doing better with it than I thought. I'm benching myself for a couple months, and I'm honestly looking forward to not having the pressure of TTC. 

CS/Q: I'm just bummed about such a great cycle being a negative. :-/

@daffodil_shoe sorry about your car! But your chart looks great. Maybe you ovulated overnight so neither you nor FF are technically wrong, lol. Timing is still good either way!
@kopp5988 ahh, that dreaded doom drop. Sorry, friend.   even more reason to enjoy that wine tonight. I do not watch the Bachelor but I may need to have a glass because we're expecting a foot of snow and I just can't deal. 
@nnaelilak thank you, it's been really tough on him emotionally. He's the sensitive type that carries the weight of the world on his shoulders so of course he blames himself for both their IF problems and ours. Sadly even tho the testing shows it's not him, I have yet to prove him wrong in over a year of trying by turning a BFP so there's that... // also, sounds like you might need to find a new mechanic, lol. 5 months?! Did I read that right?! That's exciting about selling your house! We just did that (x2) last year, it's a huge job but so worth it!
@stephanie123456 hiiii! Sorry your BBT is giving you grief. I was convinced mine wasn't working a few cycles ago, complained to the company (via Amazon) and they sent me a new one, no questions asked... but I didn't want to switch mid-cycle. Well it's been like 2.5 months and it's still working so I guess it wasn't the battery    oops. But now I have two, in case one does eventually die! Haha.

Timing: -2, -1, 0

Typical LP length: It was in the 9-12 range. This is also only my second cycle since getting my IUD removed, so who knows at this point.  

Testing: BFN yesterday. I took an FRER this morning and immediately thought BFN. When I angled it and held it up towards the light, I convinced myself I saw a squinter but there's also a 100% chance that I'm just completely BSC. So although there's nothing definitive right now, I'm not super hopeful either.  I plan to test again tomorrow morning. 

R/R: We're supposed to get hit with another snow/freezing rain storm tomorrow. I'm over winter, can it be spring please?!

CS/Q: It looks promising so far..

Hi everyone! I've missed interacting daily, I've been lurking and haven't posted for a week because work has been CRAZY. Maybe this stress is keeping us from getting KU...hmm (hopefully not). Anyways happy Monday!

Testing: tomorrow morning. I've been so busy with work and not feeling KU anyways so I was scared to test and go to work stressed AND sad. Things have finally slowed down so I can handle it tomorrow I think haha.

R/R: Rave (because positive vibes only) - I am finally able to breath and can work less than 10 hours a day again starting today. I'm going to be insanely happy to get home before 8 tonight.

CS/Q: nada, I'm going to temp this cycle or next (but will BD EOD next cycle to make sure I didn't miss something)

@marbellie we are looking to buy right away! We're actually going to look at a house we love tonight!!
