Soy milk may not be the best choice for bottle feeding

I just read an article on Birth Defect Research for Children that refers to a study about the effects of feeding your baby soy milk. This seems to apply to girls. Apparently early-life exposure to genistein, a naturally occurring component in soy formula can interfere with the development of the reproductive system, causing painful periods once your child gets into adolescence. This is something mothers should be aware of before considering the soy option for feeding. It's SO FRUSTRATING when you're trying to be more health conscious and then you hear things like this! Here is the article if anyone is interested in reading about the study. https://www.birthdefects.org/menstrual-pain-soy-formula/
