@mamanbebe, I hate Facebook. If I didn't use it to communicate with the neighborhood moms group and our HOA, I would delete it. I deleted everyone except a handful of people. I hate that my shit is mined and shared to who knows who. And now instagram does the same thing, so it's like they have a monopoly of social networking.

@ameliabedelia-2 I'm really struggling with Instagram lately too. When I log into it on the web recently, I noticed that as photos are loading that they have tagged all the images with the subject matter. So when you see a bunch of photos grouped similarly in your feed, or ads that are eerily similar to friend post content, it's because they can *see* what you are looking at like "3 people sitting on a park bench with a dog". They then target posts to you accordingly and sell your data in ad networks. I wish we had web privacy laws in the US similar Europe but I realize that will never happen because $$ talks.. and our current administration.
@nolemomma14 as a FTM, I've been gaining so much from these boards especially not having any friends near that have had babies yet to talk to. I totally agree with you, you get out of the boards what you put in.
@mamanbebe I have been off FB for three years and I feel my life is so much better for it! I'm not on any other social media and echo your thought that I'd be sad if everyone migrated elsewhere.
I interact with my N14 FB group daily (We started here). It's so much easier and once everyone moved to FB I feel like people either left or connected more. I really dislike how horrible bump is on mobile now.
@key33, it's like TB actively sought out the most inept mobile developers in the country to create their app. Worst design/functionality ever. And it's been that way for years. No improvements at all since I joined in 14.
