  • @meatballs37 How old is your DD? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it to figure out the double stroller configurations for our stroller or if my son is going to refuse to ride. He’ll be 3y4m when baby is born. I may do one of those standing board things, but sometimes it’s so nice to just strap them in!
  • @pbtoast welcome fellow Midwesterner! We already have two seats for our city select baby jogger. DD is 2 and will be just over 2.5 when baby is born. She likes to sometimes ride in the stroller still. But she always likes to walk. I think we will also get the glider board attachment because when she does walk sheis extra pokey!

  • @meatballs37 Yeah I feel like my son will be right on the border of walking vs riding. The thing is we walk a TON of places (our town is thankfully very walkable from our house) so I’d really rather he ride because yes, he’s slow! Problem is our Uppababy Vista is a little weird for the double stroller stuff—he’s already at the weight limit for the extra seat that goes on the bottom, so he’d have to ride up top with baby on bottom which I don’t love. I should have gone with the city select maybe. I reeeeally want a double BOB but that’s going to be a hard sell with my H given that we already have spent sooo much on strollers haha. Ok, I need to not clog up PGAL with this stroller stuff anymore. Thanks for entertaining my stream of consciousness 😂
  • @eleven_ I've always debated about the idea of finding out but not telling anyone we've found out. Mostly to keep it my own little secret. That way I could bond with the idea of the sex of the baby without the outside pressures for what each sex means from other people.
  • @dntstpbelieveing I like your resolution idea!
  • @sparklingdiamond Glad you got some good news. I know relief can be short-lived, but I try to remind myself “one step at a time” and let myself enjoy those moments. Easier said than done.
  • @carleym93 I love that. Pregnancy is surely a whole lot of waiting so the reminder to try to find peace in that is valuable.

@coco2787 Thanks for the welcome. It’s certainly a “club” no one wants to be a part of but the support is invaluable. I can tell this is a great group of ladies!

  • @meatballs37 FX for an uneventful appointment! Oh husbands 😂
  • @meatballs37 that’s the most husband thing ever. Lol
  • @meatballs37 I’m hoping your appointment goes well.
  • @meatballs37 yay! I am glad you had a good apt! (that that DD was an angel!)
  • @meatballs37 Yay! I'm so happy to hear that the appointment went well  <3  And I'm sorry, but your husband's reasoning behind the aloe lotion made me snort. Totally something my DH would do  :D

@Dcwtada I think we all understand that feeling. There are weeks where I am able to offer tons of support, and there are some weeks where it takes all of my energy just to check-in. I'm so sorry you are having a rough time lately. I always think that I will feel better as I get further along in the pregnancy, but then I still have days that are so hard to get through. I hope you start to feel some movement soon so it can bring you some peace  <3

  • @meatballs37 I’m glad your appointment went well and DD behaved.

@Dcwtada I understand how you feel. I get anxious when I log in and see a bunch of messages in PGAL. I’m always worried it will be bad news.
  • @meatballs37 yay!!! I’ve been super busy at work and remembered you had an appt so I took a quick break to check out how it went. Glad DD cooperated as well 😁
  • @meatballs37 YAY for a good appointment and a cooperative toddler. Gotta love the aloe vera lotion situation--I can so relate with my H.

@Dcwtada I haven't felt movement yet either. The other day, the doctor said it seemed like LO was moving a lot while she was chasing him around my uterus to listen to his heart. So hopefully soon we will start feeling something!
  • @Dcwtada I know how you feel. We will be here. You can participate when you’re ready *hugs*

@meatballs37 I’m so glad your appointment went well!

I found the baby’s heartbeat on the Doppler last night. It really helps my PGAL brain to have it when I need it.
