My last weekly appointment us finally here. I might get a bonus ultrasound too. Regardless I expect to be more dilated and effaced than last time.

Next week = due date induction! Eeeeee!

Same here! Last appointment this week! Scheduled induction next week. I will prob get to see her one more time before the induction!

38 week appt and no changes. Still dialated to a 1. I'm thinking this baby is going to take their time and go past my due date. The doctor said I'm a ticking time bomb and baby can come at any time .  

I'm only on here and not on facebook, kinda bummed about not seeing all the baby announcements 😔

40w appt Thursday. We will try for a membrane sweep again otherwise we will have a scheduled induction for next week which I want to avoid.

I have my 36 week appointment and (last?) ultrasound tomorrow! I’m excited to talk to my preferred OB, to check the fluid, and to see how big this baby is estimated to be now!

Almost 36 wk apt today - 36 wks wed. Did the strep test and then back for ultrasound wed to check baby and placenta. Then back Monday. Want time to hurry along!

I have my 36 week appointment tomorrow. I'll find out whether or not my GBS test was negative or positive. Other than that I believe just measuring fundal height and listening to the heart!

Glad you've all been having relatively uneventful appointments because that means all is well!

I have my 37 week appointment today in an hour.

I'm going to ask lots of questions: probiotics ok to start since I'll be on antibiotics for GBS?  Which one is best?  Am I peeing myself or dripping fluid? Slight decrease in fetal movement is expected at this point, right?  This constant crampy feeling is probably nothing, or is it?  

I feel like there's so much I'm forgetting!

@ebk20 I'm sorry you're bummed about not seeing the announcements There are 19 (of 56) babies now in the FB group, five of them were all born on December second! I hope that they all pop in over here sometime and share their announcements too

Update..had my ultrasound today that was an hour long to check all organs again and all looked great! Baby is measuring 6pds 11 ounces. Pray that is no accurate for 36 weeks! Ready for this baby. I keep reading everyone's post who are due any day now. So exciting!

I had my ultrasound and 36 week appointment yesterday. Unfortunately, my fluid level is high again and classified as polyhydramnios, but baby looks great and is in the 85 percentile. The estimated weight was 7 lbs 1oz. At the OB appointment, she checked me and was unable to feel baby’s head despite reaching way up there. My cervix is closed and thick. She said she had trouble reaching it, but that I am maybe a fingertip dilated. I had lunch with a friend of mine who is a labor and delivery nurse, who confirmed my suspicion that “maybe a fingertip” is code for no progress, but trying to be optimistic. Emotionally, it was a tough day because all of this is very reminiscent of what happened with my last pregnancy. We will be booking a C-section for December 27 or 28th. If I go into labor on my own, I will still try to VBAC, but I am not going to try induction again. If I do begin to dilate enough, she will strip my membranes at 38 weeks. I am okay with this decision and grateful for a healthy pregnancy, I am just a bit down that I may never get the vaginal birth I have always pictured.

Just had my 39 week appointment. Last week I was 2-3cm dilated and all looked good. This week no change and so they are sending me for an ultrasound on Friday morning to check the babies biophysical profile and growth.... kinda has me concerned but I'm optimistic it will all be fine and baby girl was maybe just not cooperating today with measurements. Then my Ob went the complete opposite which super confused me when she said if I make it to next week we will be talking induction... I feel like we're bouncing around now...

@jackie_jsm Do you know why your OB is now talking induction? Are you comfortable with that?

@katy0990 she says that she doesnt want me going past 41 weeks... I'm open to induction but to be honest would rather LO comes on her own, especially being a FTM. I think I was really taken by surprise today - I was expecting to be in and out with a quick check... 1 week to go so we'll see what Fridays ultrasound brings. My gut feeling is it will all be fine and I get to see baby girl on screen before I get to meet her in person (this is what I keep reminding myself!). I of course called my mom in a panic so shes coming with me! 🤗

@katy0990 sorry things are looking down. But remember at the end of the day we all healthy babies! My mom had 3 Csection and she has never mentioned feeling bad about not experiencing labor. Fingers crossed baby comes on her own! 
 AFM still 2cm dilated but baby is low and I feel it she said station 2. She said I may go before my induction date of next Tuesday. Yesterday I washed everything last touches on the nursery I think we are a go!

@Jackie_jsm I hope she comes on your own and you don't need induction. I've hear Pitocin makes labor so much worse. My midwife office usually tries to induce around 41.5 weeks.

@AdorkablePixie I've heard the same thing so hoping it doesnt go that way.  I had my ultrasound this morning to check her growth and she is doing great just curled up so maybe that's a sign she'll come on her own.... she seems pretty comfortable though Haha
