How far along are you/ EDD? 10w2d, 6/22
How are you feeling/any symptoms? I was feeling better but this past week I’ve felt a bit nauseous in the morning. Last night was bad because I didn’t eat enough (as we were on a plane all day and the food options did not appeal); we splurged on a cab because I looked like I wanted to die. Hunger-related nausea is not great, lol.
Any upcoming appointments? I had to go on for a thyroid panel today because my TSH is slightly elevated. Follow up appointment with my OB on 10/5.
Any thoughts/questions/concerns? What pregnancy books are you all reading?
Any shopping deals you've taken advantage of during the past few days? We got a great deal on a new wool winter coat for DH at Macy’s. His was looking so ratty, so to get a much nicer one at a steep discount was a coup.

Happy post-thanksgiving ladies!!
How far along are you/ EDD? 12 + 6, June 5th (think i'm supposed to hang here until 14w according to 2nd tri thread)
How are you feeling/any symptoms? less all-day nausea, but definitely get hunger-related nausea like @bababatty that comes on quick if I'm not monitoring food intake every three hours or so. when i start dry heaving, get me to food stat!
Any upcoming appointments? was able to move my first OB appointment to this morning! the OB did have an ultrasound machine, but he said he doesn't do any dating/measurements. He did do a scan and I saw the LO flailing about and possibly hiccuping. it took my breath away! this was the first time i'd been able to see movement! my DH didn't make the appointment and was so sad to have missed it. when I texted him the US scan, he called me back and said "it finally looks like a baby... it's getting real!"... he was SHOOK! lol
scan:
the OB is nothing to write home about... and older gentleman who seemed nice enough but not overly share-y. definitely had to ask questions, but he was kind to answer them all. pointed at the SCH on the monitor and said "NO SEX!". said the high-risk PG center would be responsible for all the scan work /testing, but they "catch the babies". my NT scan is next Monday and then next OB in four weeks on Dec 20th.
Any thoughts/questions/concerns? feeling much more relieved to have seen the babe. will feel like a million bucks after the NT scan presuming everything is ok. still a bit worried about weight gain since i'm overweight. i gained 3-5 pounds from the IV bag alone, but it seems to have come off. my pants are definitely getting tighter though, but no sign of bump... mostly bloat.
Any shopping deals you've taken advantage of during the past few days? did start looking at "travel systems" but no wild black friday purchases. we've been in the market for a new bed and my friend had both the LEESA and NECTAR bed in a boxes... we liked the NECTAR and got a good cyber monday deal.
so excited that this board is picking up!

Hello everyone!
How far along are you/ EDD? 12w3d, 9 June.
How are you feeling/any symptoms? Feeling pretty good, although am verrrrrry moody. Am blaming the hormone change after finishing my estrogen and progesterone support on Sunday. Still a bit bloated and blocked up 😒. Am excited to be of the hormones though, makes me feel a bit more like I’m actually pregnant and not just a science experiment.
Any upcoming appointments? Not until 17 December when I’ll meet my care team at the hospital where I’ll be giving birth. Am excited! We had the 12week NT scan on Monday. Everything looked great. Baby measuring a day ahead, so perfectly normal. Now we wait for the results from the NIPT which we’ll get on Thursday. Am so excited to find out sex and if all the risk for chromosomal abnormalities is low I think I’ll let myself finally exhale a little bit and believe that we could finally be having a baby!
Any thoughts/questions/concerns? Did anyone have moodiness coming off estrogen and progesterone? I can’t decide if it’s just me being a bit unsettled having got back from a trip away or if there’s a special layer of hormonal change at play!
Any shopping deals you've taken advantage of during the past few days? Nope. In Australia because we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, there’s less of a sales culture that happens around this time. Boxing Day is when we see all the mega sales. That said, given so much shopping is online now, I probably should have taken advantage of the sales in the US and even local retailers picking up the Black Friday/Cyber Monday vibes.
@northbeach3, yes, we’re so close! I’m really pleased you got that sense of relief from the scan. I hope the SCH resolves and that the NT scan brings more relief and certainty for you.
@bababatty, I’ve started reading a book which is definitely Australian called “Up the Duff”, it’s by Kaz Cooke who is a comedian/cartoonist. She’s actually really great and it has lots of stuff in it that I’ve found really helpful, so if you can find that secondhand/online, I’d recommend.
All the best to everyone. Crossing my fingers that nausea is subsiding for those nearing the end of the first trimester and that scans and tests are coming back with wonderful, reassuring results. xx
I got We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook by Adrian Kulp for DH and he loves it!
@blackhottamales Hawaii is always an option!
@northbeach3 your baby is beautiful! Im so jealous! I’m concerned about weight gain too. I’m starting overweight so last time I was at the OB we talk about trying to keep it under 15 lbs. I hope I can because I’ve lost about 10 lbs in the past 9 months so I have close with room to grow. Did your OB give you any guidance? But so far I’m down a pound or two (depending on time/day) since I got pregnant. Still have the bloat most evenings.
I’ve cried both days at work so far this week-just a stressful week and I have to power through it. Wish I could just say “I’m pregnant that’s why I’m crying”
How far along are you/ EDD? 5 weeks 5 days/ July 25
How are you feeling/any symptoms? SO , SO TIRED. I took my mother for an MRI today and they had a super comfy chair in a dark waiting room I passed Out for 45 min lol. Feeling a little queasy but nothing too bad.
Any upcoming appointments? Monday 12/3
Any thoughts/questions/concerns? So they added endometrin 3 times a day along with 1.5 PIO because my progesterone came back on the lower side at 7.37. Anyone else have this issue?
Any shopping deals you've taken advantage of during the past few days? Nope lol We’re in the process of moving so my family doesn’t expect much from us this year. I did Buy my nieces some adorable clothes but that about it.
@northbeach3 adorable pic, and @hildy11 you guys are so close to 2nd tri! It feels so far away to me right now lol
@autumnlvs YAY for you’re upcoming OB appointment!
@blackhottamales I havent even thought that far ahead to a baby moon. DH has been planning this trip to Colorado in May 2019 for a 2 day show at Red Rocks for MONTHS. I keep Telling him I doubt I’ll be that much fun but I’ll go, I cant Promise I’ll stay the whole show but I can try. I did make him promise me we would stay at spa resort so I can get massages and relax.
@Griffin5413 You gotta start somewhere with the Christmas shopping getting stocking stuffers is an accomplishment to me.
@Bababatty Did they put you on thyroid meds? My TSH was 4.54 when they did my second beta so they put me on sythyriod and said they’d check it again in a few weeks.
I think I was about the same time along at my first OB appt and non-RE scan --- and my husband had the same reaction. It actually is looking like a baby! He hadn't seen the baby since my 8 week scan (10 week graduation appt he had to miss; my parents went and got to see the bouncy bean for themselves!). I think that was the point at which -he- started to get a little nervous about impending fatherhood! Of course, at 32 weeks I was still, "Do you think I'm really going to have a baby?" lol so you sound better off than me

@Bababatty - I've been on thyroid meds for the last several years but they upped them last time I was pregnant and then after I delivered, it went crazy so I've been dealing with that for the last 2 years. My endo said she wanted it between 1-2 if I was going to get pregnant again and I think that's where we are trying to keep it with my ob.
@northbeach3 - I'm with you on the weight gain. They keep telling me they don't want me to gain any weight for the first half of my pregnancy. So of course I freak out if I fluctuate half a pound. The positive is that I was so nauseous for a few weeks that I actually lost like 3 pounds so I have some wiggle room. lol I did pull out all of my maternity clothes though and started wearing the pants simply because they are SOOOOOO much more comfortable with the bloat! If you have some, you should wear them. you won't regret it!
@ndz2018 - I totally fell asleep last night putting my son down. My husband had to wake me up. lol

UGH I had a little bit of spotting again but I think I may have hit my cervix last night when doing my suppository 1. it hurt lol and 2) the spotting was very light
If you're using the suppositories, spotting is even more common with them! I always figured one of the reasons my RE doesn't use them for FET cycles is to keep the number of panicked pregnant ladies down

@ndz2018, I totally had the spotting from the progesterone pessaries. Panicked me and was a pain. Hope that yours settles quickly and that it’s smooth sailing for you. I was very pleased to get off the pessaries last week. Very Pleased! I’ll be counting down for you.
My update is that we got the results from the NIPT and it’s low risk for everything. SOOOOO relieved. And pleased not to have another test looming. We also found out it’s a girl! Which was what I was hoping for (second only to healthy, obviously). I’m starting to really believe it now!
Happy weekends to you all. xx
Awesome news! And girls rock
Have fun picking out all of the clothes until she's old enough to have an opinion!! I know I'm taking advantage of this stage where I can dress her....
