Is anyone else still spotting? I'm a nervous wreck. I had spotting throughout my first pregnancy but there was always a reason. This time I just seem to be spotting over nothing. My first US isn't scheduled until December 5th and I may drive myself insane by then.

@shawnacrest what kind of spotting is it? I am every few days. I have to use progesterone suppositories and they bump into my cervix at insertion causing the spotting.

I’m having spotting too. It started like 2 weeks ago and was like brown yuck when I would wipe. One time it was enough to get on my underwear. I had a sono about a week ago and everything we fine. They said it was a small Subchorionic hemmorahe or something and that it should not cause any problems. I also had bleeding with my last pregnancy which occurred at 8, 12 and then a huge bleed at 17 weeks that I went to the ER for and my baby girl is perfect. It’s very scary but and fingers crossed for you

There are so many reasons for spotting that we cannot know. I had spotting with my DS2. And I had spotting with this pregnancy and my u/s showed everything normal. 

What kind and how much? How far along are you?

@mamanbebe brown discharge really. It's never much but it's happening much more often than I'd like. I'm also having mild cramping, and it just has me totally freaked out.

@Happyin14 according to LMP, I'm 6 weeks, 4 days but I ovulate late and have inconsistent cycles.

Yep, had quite a bit of dark red discharge last Wednesday, the day after my U/S. I have a small subchorionic hemorrhage that may be causing it. I had a medium sized SCH last pregnancy and it didn't cause any bleeding - I wouldn't have known other than the U/S. So it's a bit unnerving this time around, but the nurse says it's completely normal. I have a follow up U/S on Tuesday to make sure all is okay, and I honestly feel pretty fine about it, but it'll be nice to know for sure!

@shawnacrest I hope it's nothing, but the fact that it's brown is at least a good. I've also had cramping but it's been discovered to be constipation and gas related + the regular twinges that occur during pregnancy. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Give your OB a call tomorrow and let them know your concern, maybe they will let you come in for a quick scan?

@shawnacrest I am spotting with slight cramping. I had this with my first, too, but I thought that was related to the progesterone suppositories I was on (I'm on PIO this time). I asked the nurse about it at my RE's office and she said it was totally normal. Still makes me anxious, though!!

I had a lot of brown at 6 weeks also. Like... quite a bit and it lasted almost a week. Sometimes as the placenta is attaching, your body gets rid of some old blood. At least that’s what they tell me! Fx it’s nothing!

Also! I swore I was cramping, but it was probably gas.

Im 6 wks 4 days and have been spotting for a week. My mom spotted throughout her pregnancy with me and thought they were periods and she didn't find out until she was 4 months... remembered that and felt some relief! Its alarming to see, but its not constant and not a lot. We meet the midwife Dec 6 and i don't think I'll rest easy until then!

I’ve started have spotting. Last Friday, just once and then yesterday (Sunday) twice. 
It basically is pink streaked discharge. 
Kinda like when you blow your nose ... Sorry, kinda gross ...
I called my ob office Friday and had an hcg and progesterone drawn which I was told all looked great. So that’s reassuring.  But. I’m still freaking out 😬

I've had spotting on and off starting at 5w3d.  Usually ranging from pink to brown, but I had one instance where I saw a little bright red, and that one went on for three days.  I had my first US right after at 8 weeks, and everything was fine.  My OB said it can be normal and not to worry about it unless I see heavier bleeding.  It definitely still makes me nervous, though  .

Had really bad spotting this week, so I was nervous going into my US this morning but all is well! Growing and a strong HB. So try not to worry all, spotting is normal!

Went in for an US today. Measured 6 weeks exactly with a HB of 110. The tech seemed fine with it but I am worried it's a little low. Will post picture in US thread

@shawnacrest, that's a completely normal HB for 6 weeks. I just had an u/s today as well and HB was 111. She said by 7 weeks it will speed up.  At 6 weeks it has just started beating and its a bit slower.
