Due date/W+D: 15+2 based on last ultrasound measurement
Baby is the size of a(n): Apple 🍎
Any appointments? Questions?: Doppler appointment on Friday! ❤️
Rants/Raves?: Rave —> my hair is finally stronger and staying in my head! Rant —> My MIL is driving me insane.
How are you feeling?: Amazing, minus a headache, I feel so much better!
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? I’m going shopping but have zero plans on how I’m doing it, except for going to farm and fleet early to buy new tires!
Baby is the size of a(n): I can't remember. Yesterday was a donut and it made me crave one so bad.
Any appointments? Questions?: I have my ob appointment today. We'll discuss mood stabilizers and schedule my anatomy scan.
Rants/Raves?: I'm so excited to know what we're having, but I do kind of wish we'd waited until the anatomy scan so we'd be living in the house he'll be born in and I could go crazy shopping lol.
How are you feeling?: not bad. Headaches have been plaguing me, but I'm surviving.
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday?
No no no no no lol. I HATE black Friday. The whole concept. I don't mind saving money, but I feel like it's just gotten to be so ridiculous. Have you ever watched a video of the first black Friday? I hate thinking how bad it's become. And starting ON Thanksgiving now? God. No.
I do however scope out online deals on black Friday and Cyber Monday. But that's it.
Any appointments? Questions?: no appointments till next month
Rants/Raves?: not really. I don’t like picking boy names with DH. We have way different styles when it comes comes to boys names. Girls names were always easy and we lucked out having two girls, but now that this one is a boy, it’s going to be interesting.
How are you feeling?: feeling good!
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? I might go to Home Depot for poinsettias IF I wake up early enough but I won’t set an alarm. I hate what Black Friday has become and I hate that stores are open on Thanksgiving.
Ivy: July 2010 | Stella: Dec 2012 | BFP#3: MMC at 11Wk's, July 2017 | Wyatt: April 2019 | BFP#5: Twin Girls due Sept 2020
Any appointments? Questions?: we have an elective u/s at a boutique place to find out the sex of the baby this Saturday.
Rants/Raves?: Less exciting news: I had a positive result on my blood antibody screening and my OB’s office is kind of freaking out. I was sent for additional blood testing on Friday, but I have yet to hear of those results are available yet. I haven’t been super active lately, but since I know this is a rare condition I was thinking about making a special snowflake thread about it. I’m trying not to freak out too much until I hear from someone about the additional tests, but I’ve already gone down a google spiral and found cerebral palsy to be one of the severe complications of blood incompatibility. Do you think people would be mad if I make a one off thread? I don’t want this to get lost in symptoms and it’s not actually a genetic issue.
How are you feeling?: I don’t want to jinx it, but the nausea might be getting better. Still having bad evenings, but not as severe as it was for all of first tri.
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? Yeah, we don’t leave the house. I’ll look online starting Thursday night though.
Any appointments? Questions?: OB check on 12/11 and Anatomy scan on 12/17, so we have a little while before anything fun again.
Rants/Raves?: Rave-I managed to go through all of DD's baby clothes from NB-18 months (and we'd saved EVERYTHING. She also had a ridiculous amount of clothes as a first LO in our family). There were some sweet gender neutral pieces in there that we can save for this little boy, and it was such a sweet walk down memory lane. I was so happy to have all of those containers cleaned out and our clothes ministry at church got a lot of what they need because they weren't getting many donations for LO's clothes. Rant-BUT I was so sore afterward. My back was killing me! It was exhausting lol.
How are you feeling?: I'm feeling really good on the whole. I bought a pregnancy pillow and can't wait for it to arrive because my only real complaint is my sleeping and achyness. I'm excited for Thanksgiving this week, and I have all the fun holiday feelings.
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? I don't go out on Black Friday anymore. We don't do a lot of gifts in our families. I will look around online for some deals on the things we do buy. Who knows, I may go out on Friday evening just to catch a little holiday buzz, but my Black Friday is dedicated to Christmas music, movies, and decorating
Any appointments? Questions?: Next Tuesday & since I'm traveling abroad for Christmas this will probably be my last appointment before my anatomy scan Jan 4
Rants/Raves?: I discovered that I'm able to tolerate tea in the morning and it's really improved my life. For some reason, I just really can't handle even the smell of hot coffee this pregnancy and I've been almost caffeine-free the whole time as a result. I know some people are probably doing that on purpose, but this is my third kid and I pretty much need some caffeine to function. I have had so much more energy lately- yay.
How are you feeling?: I think my nausea might be waning. Thinking about trying to stop meds soon and see what happens.
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? Not in the traditional, shopping-as-sport sense. I do most of my shopping online, but I do buy a Black Friday edition newspaper to compare deals and do some planning. I have a tradition with my little brother where we have in mind one or two things we might try to pick up on Black Friday, but we're not bothered if we fail... TBH it's kind of a bonding time for us where we go out and do some people-watching together. Since so much shopping has migrated online anyway, Black Friday and Cyber Monday kind of bleed together for me, but I order a significant part of my holiday gifts online over the long weekend due to the sales.
@poshspice Do you know off hand which antibody it is? I have a M antibody and every time I get pregnant the OB freaks out and of all the antibodies it’s the least to worry about it. From what I understand most OB’s don’t know much about them and refer you out to an MFM for additional monitoring. Since the M antibody is considered very low risk I just get a blood test done each month and they check the level to make sure it’s not going up.

@poshspice I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this added stress. I don't think anyone would be mad if you started your own thread. I'm sure everyone would love to give you advice and/or support.
@robyn2201 I don’t know yet. I know it’s not the Rh one because I’m O+ and my DD is A+. So I’m wondering if it’s an ABO incompatibility issue. I didn’t have a positive screening when I was pregnant with her, so this definitely happened as a result of her birth somehow. I’m sure we’ll know more once we get the new test results back. I’m glad it’s not a big deal for you, though!
@misskimsue thank you! I just feel bad because I’ve been so inactive lately. 😕
I agree that no one would be mad about a new post. You could also post in the high risk thread. There is a forum on another site that’s all about antibodies and it was a wealth of knowledge for me. I’m trying to find again but not having any luck. I’ll let you know if I do find it.

Any appointments? Questions?: I won't have a fun appointment until after 1/1 because insurance sucks
Rants/Raves?: Feeling perfect! I love the second trimester
How are you feeling?:
GTKY: Black Friday: Noooooooooooooooooooooooo. Maybe we'll go to the movies or something, but I try to make it an outside day/weekend. I shop the heck out of stuff online though. I buy lots of things in advance.
Any appointments? We had a check up and ultrasound last week to check my SCH. Good news is my SCH is gone, but the nurse said they could see some placental lakes and they want me to continue pelvic rest for the next month so that I don’t cause anymore bleeding. Next appointment is not until December 17th and I am assuming at some point there will be an anatomy scan. Baby
Rants/Raves?: rants: all this keep finding things on ultrasound is definitely increasing my anxiety.
How are you feeling?: somehow my nausea and fatigue almost seem worse this week. Determined to eat all the thanksgiving food anyways though!
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? Cyber Monday yes but Black Friday no. We already have our Christmas and Hanukkah shopping done for the boys so it is just dh his parents and his brother we have to buy for.
@poshspice I am so sorry you have this to worry about. Hoping your results come soon and that means answers that you can process. I hope you get a lot of insight on your thread.
@Stormiewinter Hate that you have a new issue to deal with, but so glad the SCH is gone! I hope this round of pelvic rest goes by quickly!
@Stormiewinter I'm glad you had good news about the SCH, but very sorry you're having to deal with another issue now. I really hope by your next appointment everything's back to normal and you have smooth sailing until May!
Any appointments? Questions?: Monday, I'm going to ask if we can travel out of the country for our babymoon. Jamaica in February? My husband isn't sold yet on going to Caribbean while I'm pregnant.
Rants/Raves?: ready for Thanksgiving!
How are you feeling?: Feeling good not as bloated, just tired.
GTKY: Black Friday: Who plans out their trip? Do you even do it? Or do you Cyber Monday? No way! I work at a luxury retailer, so I'm probably jaded!
