@KissMeImScottish also pre-e/HELLP momma, we go straight to labetalol once my BP starts to spike. I had not heard of Tylenol as a preemptive or treatment plan, I may see if that is an option before we have to start damage control. That is good to know.
@KissMeImScottish I’m not 100% up to date but I was in NP school during my last pregnancy so I was paying more attention then. The baby aspirin is a relatively new discovery and recommendation so it means that your doctor is up to date and it’s definitely a good recommendation. The OB I worked with said he wouldn’t be surprised if eventually it’s a more global rec since it seems to have such positive effect.
This is all incredibly reassuring and I really appreciate all the feedback. Thank you, ladies. You’ve really put me much more at ease. And @ShadeofGreen816, that’s actually awesome to hear as well - I do love and trust my doctor.

@KissMeImScottish I wonder if they’ll put me on it too. I had some high blood pressure spikes at the end of my pregnancy. 140/90s first reading and then it would go down. I still swear up and down they were false and caused by anxiety considering that it NEVER went up in the hospital the entire time I was being induced but whatever. Anyways, does anyone know if that’s gonna be enough for them to put me on it?

Back from a super quick trip for a destination wedding. So glad my bridesmaid responsibilities are over, I think I’m a better guest then a bridesmaid 😆
my two year old did a great job as flower girl and passed out immediately after the ceremony 🤣
Hey guys! Did you know that there’s an election tomorrow!? I HAD NO IDEA <—- sarcasm. I am so sick of text messages solicitors telling me to vote. IM GOING TO VOTE. LEAVE ME ALONE.
I may be having a hormone surge which is making me extra rage-y lol.
@antera23 I’m getting texts from the wrong states 😂 I keep telling them to take me off the list but it’s not getting me anywhere. Most of them are from Texas and I haven’t lived there for 4 years.
I’m actually really creeped out by the text thing. I get an unholy amount of spam calls and have almost gotten used to them, but the texts? They’re unsettling and it really bugs me.

@ncm1919 I typed STOP too quickly. After I sent it I thought of some great texts I could bait them with. Now I hope someone else texts me so I can try them out :-D
I hate the texts too. Leave me alone! Ive mentioned it before but I get a million from one candidate. I asked them to stop and it did but then started again. And they keep saying the wrong name even though Ive had this number since I was 16....they keep using my parents names.
Ugh, the spam phone calls are getting to me too! They’re all from a state I no longer live in, so it’s pointless. I haven’t gotten any texts yet, so that’s good, I guess. I feel like the push to vote has been so much more this year than in previous years. Maybe it’s just me, though.
I'm out of town this week at training to get a courthouse facility dog for work. It's been great to get a ton of sleep but I really just want to be back home. I want to have control over my own schedule!!
I'm also taking asprin because I think I have the genetic mutation and an issue with homocysteine. My knew I was taking it before BFP but didnt say to stop when it happened so I'm continuing and they will have to "yell" at me in a few weeks. I won't stop it because I'm afraid of another MC.
My coworker asked what the midterms were the other day. She knew about the elections and voting but never realized the terms. We all had a good laugh (her included).
@battleangel have a nap before you go lol. The first game of the season I went to I was super dizzy - less MS more just dizzy... not fun walking to our seats in upper level
@KissMeImScottish just another +1 to the baby aspirin club. My doctor mentioned it when I asked if my treatment would be any different due to pre-e last time. I start my the first week of second tri.
DH is so sweet. He just went out to get me lunch. All I want is a baked potato, haha!
I'm so over the time change. It has really done a number on my kids. Plus DD2 just got 2 new teeth. I'm so sleepy from being up since 4:30 the last few days.
@runyogamom lol yes! Like we aren’t the newbs anymore!

I started decorating for Christmas today. I can’t help myself. It’s our first Christmas in the new house and the old character makes it so cozy. As soon as DH gets home, it’s ornament time! We are doing the Charlie Brown tree again this year because...well...toddlers. 😆 pic in spoiler.
Too early to start an all things christmas thread? (What you are asking for for Christmas, decor, food, gift ideas, etc)? I can start it 😬

@sparklingdiamond I have been craving garlic mashed potatoes big time! Also, I got ruffles and ranch dip this weekend and they hit the spot, big time!
@meatballs37 I love your decorations and your cute tree. I have major reservations how the tree is going to go this year with an 18 month old... so I guess we'll see! We host thanksgiving so I wait to put the tree up until black Friday. But I wish it was up now!
@ShadeofGreen816 DD was 16 months last year and we couldn’t get her to stop touching and taking things off the tree, even with constant supervision. So we put soft/nonbreakable ones she could have on the bottom. That seemed to work the best. It did eventually become less of a novelty and by Christmas she didn’t mess with it as much. I’m hoping this year she leaves the ornaments on!

@ShadeofGreen816 Mine were 18 mos and 3 last year. We bought a box of plastic unbreakable balls from target for the bottom half and let the kids hang them. Worked great and when DD did take a couple off, we didn't have to worry about them breaking.
My coworker who doesnt know i am preggo bought me a bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese this morning (with an extra side of cream cheese to boot) i could have kissed her. Only 5 more days until she sees my fb announcement!
So, in case anyone is wondering, everything bagels will totally make you pop positive for opiates...😒 Luckily, my doctor knows me and it’s no big deal, but my heart skipped more than one beat when they told me that. Pretty annoyed right now.
