Saturday is kids activities day so I'm living in the car for the most part. Hoping to keep working on my neverending project to purge the hoarders dream that is currently my basement over tonight and tomorrow. You know, the glamourous life haha

I am feeling super annoyed realizing that I may need to go in for my nurse intake this Friday. It’s just to gather information apparently. I thought it was a phone intake but the reminder email had me coming in. That’s means I’ll have to take DS with me. Ugh. I’ll call and confirm on Monday but I’m already in a bad mood thinking about it.

We are in the middle of complete remodel/construction madness on our house. I will have no life outside of kids and house stuff (and bumping) till the end of the year.

But I am going to brag, since Wednesday I started potty training my son and we haven’t had a single accident even over night and moved from the little potty to the toilet successfully today. Considering it took almost a year and constant tears and fights (from both my daughter and me) to get her potty trained I cannot believe the difference this time around. I feel like someone is needs to yell April fools and throw a turd at me.

Laundry 😩 and finally putting some fall decor up. Well if I can keep some of this energy and the nausea stays away. Also just started a pot of chili and I’m excited for a lazy night at home

@Dcwtada my daughter was a breeze to PT. Day and night in one month flat. My youngest son has been a nightmare. I'm just glad I have tile floors because the amount of pee that has hit my floors is ridiculous. Sometimes I go into the bathroom and I  smell pee and I clean that bathroom almost daily. Pee just goes everywhere. We tried night training him too. I finally gave up and just let him sleep in his pull-ups. 

All that to say, it amazes me that kids can be so different when PT. I'm glad you had such great success. Winning with PT is a big deal!

Laundry. Tried to run some errands but have 0 patients for children drama today. Like, ZERO. And 45min car rides on an empty stomach is not a wise idea. Making pulled pork tomorrow and already wishing it were tomorrow.....

We just got home and are settling into our pjs for the day. Laundry from our mini three day trip to Chicago is washing. We stopped at Trader Joe’s in Milwaukee on our way home. Gosh I wish we had one! I went nuts and bought a ton of stuff. DH and I brought a cooler along too just for this reason. 

Our biggest hit from the weekend with our 2 year old was Sesame Street live. Holy crap the kid mayhem everywhere was hilarious. In a weird way it was so nice to see hundreds of kids throwing tantrums and going crazy. It reminded me I’m not alone. DD was a trooper and only really fussed because she wanted to sit in her own chair, but literally couldn’t see over the chairs, so it took some convincing for her to sit in our laps. Everything these days is “I do it myself” 😑

I’m watching my three nieces and nephews this weekend. So my husband and I are juggling 4 kids ages 11,9,5 and 2.

I got the oldest off to basketball, 5 year old to art and was at the Y with the 9 and 2 year old situated. Ran 2 laps and realized I had left the dog in the backyard. Husband was still asleep so I had to wrangle everyone and go let him back in. He was only out there for 20 minutes and the weather wasn’t terrible but it was annoying and I felt guilty.

I had to work some today and possibly some tomorrow since Monday is the final tax deadline.  It has been pouring here all day and finally slowed down.  And now I keep sneezing like crazy!

Yo. If there was ever a weekend to drink, this would be it. 

My family and friends are driving me insane. Not only am I in the middle of finishing up two KING SIZED quilts that I was given a week to complete by a client, everyone else is looking to me to do everything for them for MY trip home for a family wedding. For some reason everyone wants me to solve issues with rental cars, giving rides here and there, finding a caterer for a rehearsal dinner (?!?!?!) and a chair rental place, and to call this person and tell them xyz, or ask them abc. I'm the 1st cousin of the groom.....not the maid of g-d honor. 

I am at a complete loss as to why everyone thinks that I'm their errand girl? I lost my s*** on my aunt and mother earlier and they had the nerve to say, "Wow, you need to calm down." And they all wonder why I only travel home once per year. 

Anyone wanna skip out on everything next week and meet me in Maui or something?

I forgot how boring the weekends are when you’re pregnant and it’s cold outside. I’m cuddled up with my dog watching baseball.

I guess the best thing is I will be well rested and ready to get it bright and early when my baby wakes up.

We hit the pumpkin patch today with my mom and my sister. It was super fun besides the drama that always happens trying to plan and execute a get together. I'd take a trip to Maui too, although I need to win the lottery first!

We worked on building DS's new bed yesterday. DH worked yesterday and is currently working this morning then we will hopefully assemble most of the bed this afternoon then start painting it. I am already ready for a nap .DS decided that it was cool to wake up at 4 am for the day.

@dntstpbelieveing, oh my gosh, girl, you’re my hero! That looks AMAZING!! My son would flip if we built him that - he’s obsessed with all things truck, car, and motorcycle. He points out every “digger” we see when we’re in the car. Did you build this from scratch? Did you use plans? Super impressed!

@KissMeImScottish we were going to wing it but we ended up using plans mostly because DH and I work different schedules most of the time so we could each work on it without the other. I'm hoping a really cool room is what gets DS to give up his crib. At this point he asks to sleep in his crib and just climbs out when he is done sleeping.

I should also say that is a stock photo for the plans. I am still building mine. Though it should be done this week depending on me and DH not working a ton of over time .

@dntstpbelieveing, my DIY self is loving this, seriously. Plans definitely facilitate things. I’m an Ana White junkie (if you haven’t heard of her site, check it out!), and these plans are seriously cool.

Moving my (at the time) 2 year old into a bunk bed definitely helped kick the crib habit over here. He thought it was awesome to sleep on the top bunk. I’m sure he would have gone bonkers over this bed - your son will go nuts when he sees this! If we weren’t planning on moving my boy twin into the lower bunk to room share with DS1, I would seriously be considering copying you, haha.

@dntstpbelieveing, wow, that bed is awesome. My DS would also love that. I can't wait to see the finished product. 

Today I plan to finish cleaning my house and hopefully taking the kids to a park to play. It has finally cooled down from surface of the sun hot to just hot so I think I may be able to stand the heat.

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday. DS loved it, it wore me out. I forgot how tired you get first tri. Now I'm trying to meal plan but I keep falling asleep. I'm going to try and grocery shop and go running during DS nap. I have no faith it will happen, but if I recall from last time being pregnant sometimes you have to push through the tiredness and you will find the energy. 

We are also going to a friend's how to watch the Jags play the Cowboys. It is so hard to go to a not baby proofed house with my son. He is crazy. Luckily we already agreed to leave early.

We didn't get to paint today but we got everything assembled (except the shelf in the bucket somehow we both thought the other was doing it). DH will go back out after bed time to do some little details.

Yesterday we hit up the patch and it was great, mid sixties and sunny. 

Im launching a kids line of shirts on Tuesday so today has been all about that. I’m so 😴 this first trimester is going to be a long one.
