I hate chocolate candy. Unless it’s mint. Mint is ok. Mint soothes my stomach, but anything else... take it away, good sir!

@chikin_mama_3 I'll take allllll of your chocolate! It is my go to right after beer/or wine if I want to have a treat. So, I'm going to eat the chocolate while I'm pregnant.

 Mine: I don't like PSL or pumpkin spice anything for that matter. But I loveee pumpkin pie everything. Fall is the best time of the year.

@runyogamom I’m not a PSL or pumpkin spice fan either but I love pumpkin pie.

My unpopular opinion is that early mornings are the best time of day. Everything is so peaceful, I've had some sleep, the sunrise is beautiful, and I can have my coffee without interruption. (I wonder if that will disappear forever if this pregnancy works out...)

I dislike the terms preggers and prego, it’s Pregnant! If you don’t want to type it out use KU or PG 😁 also, when couples say “we’re pregnant”, no! “we are having a baby/going to be parents” but there is no “we” carrying this baby, about vomiting all day long, or in the end pushing it out a whole the size of a donut!

@marijaa333 I love mornings so much! Definitely my favorite time of day. The air feels so clean and crisp and the sunrise is always so inspiring.

@nmbrcrnchr1 I am the opposite! I like when DH days we are pregnant. He is just so excited and it makes me so happy to see how much he wants this. I don't know how I would feel if he said it as I was vomiting though

If you have a cold, you are sick and should stay at home so you don't get other people sick. I don't care that you are still "functional", I don't want your cold! Don't come in "just to check in" for a half day, don't come in "once the worst is over". We have an open plan office, so you are literally exposing EVERYONE to your virus.

(We have a work remotely when sick policy, so you don't have to worry about making up hours. Obvs for people with limited sick days, this is probably different)

We just bought a house and it’s 2 stories, 100 years old and no central AC. I almost died a few times this summer. Before this baby comes, the central air is going in. I won’t be able to enjoy the newborn snuggles

@marijaa333 mornings are the best. I get up early every Saturday so I can have my uninterrupted coffee before the toddler is up. Otherwise it's cold by the time I'm done. It's worth it!

Couldn’t agree more. I cannot stand the heat and live for cooler weather every year.

@marijaa333, I love early mornings too. You can still have them with kids you just have to get up earlier than the kids. I get up at 5:45 so I can have my coffee and read without interruptions.

@emeraldcity6035:45! That is amazing. My 3.5 year old sleeps in on the weekends, which lets me have coffee until 8 or 8:30. If this second one works out, I hope s/he lets me have my weekend morning coffee too.

@marijaa333, I used to be so crabby in the mornings and had to force myself out of the bed when the kids woke up. I absolutely hated getting up before 7 too. Now, I don't even need to set my alarm. I wake up before it even goes off. It has been a total game changer for me. Helps me have a better day with my kids which is nice too.
