How many kids do you already have? Ages? 4 boys ages 8, 6, 3.5, and 2.
How are your other kids doing this week? Everyone is good. My 2yr old has all of sudden just exploded word wise so he seems so big all of a sudden which is killing me ha!
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Having baby #5 has kind of hit me and I'm already kind of freaking out about delivery and what we are going to do with our boys while I'm giving birth. Our family lives 8+hrs away and we don't really have any super close friends or neighbors to watch them. This could get interesting lol.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? #1- people pleaser, creativity #2- night owl, quiet, temper (he's kind of my mini ha!) #3 all my boys are animal lovers but this one is especially. #4 determination to prove people wrong and temper
Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader. , 💙💙💙💙💙💙
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 a little girl age 3
How are your other kids doing this week? She is doing great, she started a new school a few weeks ago and has really taken off there.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I had my ultra sound today and everything looks great, was super nervous but saw the little beans heart beat and I cried.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? She is a laugher, the girl does belly laughs like no one else and I am kind of the same way.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2 yr old DS
How are your other kids doing this week? Pretty sure DS is sick with an ear infection. I’m taking him in this afternoon to get checked out. He ended up sleeping in until 10:30am (which was super nice for me), but that definitely tells me something is up.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Nope!
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? My insane clumsiness for sure. He is a mini DH aside from that and copying my facial expressions.
@nopegoat Aww I love your similarities with all of your boys I am trying not to worry yet about who will watch DD. All of our family is across the country with the exception of a cousin who lives 6+ hours away - I'm close with her but not *that* close where she'd drop everything and drive up (she also just had her baby at 25 weeks about a month ago). My mom will plan to come for 2 weeks around the due date but what if I'm early?? *sigh* I'm sure by baby #5 labor is super short but I'm sure you'll figure it out
How many kids do you already have? Ages? DD is 13 months
How are your other kids doing this week? She's been waking up really early and it's killing us (DH gets up with her to let me sleep longer but I have a hard time falling back asleep most of the time anyways).
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I mentioned in the randoms thread that DD's daycare owner keeps asking when we're having another kid. In general, how do you respond to this? Specifically if you are NOT planning to tell people, even if they ask/think they've figured it out. I can't remember who I said what to but I'd been saying to some that we'd wait at least a year (which we did and then were able to get pregnant right away). I have the worst poker face so I'm worried people I know better (my boss) will be able to tell if they're around when it comes up. I'm now wishing I'd been more vague.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? She is super observant. She's also a bit of a daredevil (not me at all) but she takes in her surroundings before jumping into whatever craziness she's going to get into.
@kvh22 my labors with the last three have been super short. #2 and #3 I was admitted straight from my 38wk OB appt after cervical checks showing I was 5+cm with no contractions. They broke my water to get things going and were born 1.5hrs later. #4 I had consist and strong contractions for 30mins, water broke on its own, and he was here 50mins later.
Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader. , 💙💙💙💙💙💙
How many kids do you already have? Ages? DD will be 1 next week.
How are your other kids doing this week? Pretty good! I think she has some new teeth coming in, so her nights have been rough.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? DH's parents are in town, and they're helping us get settled into our new house. His mom is a saint, and it's so amazing having them stay with us! I was starting to lose it with everything else going on.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? I really haven't seen much of myself yet, everyone says she looks just like DH (she's only 1, so we have a long time). But, she does love to laugh and my mom said I was the same way as a baby. I guess she did get my super slow-growing, light hair.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
@kvh22 I always say that "we'd like to have another when the time is right." That's usually definitive but vague enough that people are satisfied and stop asking.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? one daughter, she's 2
How are your other kids doing this week? She's so darn cute right now. Of course she has her 2 year old tantrums, and she's still crying at preschool dropoff, but she says the cutest things. This morning, she wanted to play tea party so she held up her tea set and said "mommy, want to play party?" and she set up the tea for me and gives me "a little sugar" and a matching set of cup, saucer and spoon. I mean, it's just cute and sweet and perfect.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I am just so tired and nauseous and in need of a nap alllll the time! Makes it hard to get anything done/feel motivated and good. Sigh.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? She's very independent and speaks up for herself. I'm proud that she got that from me
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 10.5 mo DS
How are your other kids doing this week? He has a cold @ibanezstarburst told me about a Johnson’s bath wash that is vapor-y and worked for her DS so I’m going to try that tonight! (She and I are in the same Nov17 BMB and talk often haha)
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I’m just frustrated at this week. I’m so grateful no one got hurt yesterday but I hate dealing with the aftermath, it’s such a headache.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Honestly not much yet with him being so young. I see a lot of my husband in him. DS is very calm and chill. He loves books which both H and I do too.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? DS1, 4 years; DS2, 2 years
How are your other kids doing this week? Well, they just spent the better part of a half hour playing in their rooms together and, for the most part, without screaming at each other, so that kind of blew my mind.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I took unisom last night for the first time this pregnancy and woke up feeling somewhat like a human being. That was awesome.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? DS1 - sensitive perfectionist DS2 - chocolate fiend
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 DS, 11.5 months. He'll be one on 10/7, and @mrsdee15 's GIF is exactly my feelings too. How did this happen?!
How are your other kids doing this week? He's good. He's walking now and thinks crawling is for the birds, so there's been several head bumps and bruises as he crashes around.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? We listed our old house for sale on Thursday and got an offer yesterday! Hoping we can negotiate this and get it sold so we can stop paying double mortgages! Plus, I need to focus on important things like planning DS' birthday party.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? He's stubborn and gets really ticked when something doesn't go his way right away. As my H says, that's all me.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2 boys- 3 and 6
How are your other kids doing this week? Both kids are doing well. It's been a little slow getting ready in the morning since it's been chillier (ok, I admit it. I'm the one who wants to stay in bed lol)
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? They both are doing great in school which I'm super happy about!
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? My oldest is very sensitive and I think he gets that from me.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 dd age 2.
How are your other kids doing this week? She was sick this week and we had to go to urgent care for a breathing treatment. She is much better, but bow my husband has a man cold.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Just so much throwing up. Hoping I don’t catch this cold.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? How loud I am and her stubbornness 😂
@laeberge3 I swear I was just holding her through her entire first night after she was born, I don't know how she's going to be 1! I guess that kind of goes to our birthday theme, Donut Grow Up. We're serving donuts. I'm excited about it.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
How many kids do you already have? Ages? Two girls, oldest will be 5 in December, youngest is also 2.5
How are your other kids doing this week? Same old circus, same old monkeys. My girls are super tough, we actually took a while to try for #3 because of how challenging they are as a pair but here we are!
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I'm not sure when to tell the girls a baby is on the way. I definitely want to make sure it's once we're past the window of most concern. My youngest probably won't really get what is going on, but if something were to happen the oldest for sure would
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? #1 is stubborn, strong willed, sassy, and every challenging trait she has is ALL me, so I feel the need to apologize to my mom on a daily basis. #2 is basically my physical clone. But her ornery personality is all DH.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 3 kids - DD is 10 and Boys are 6 and almost 4. My foster baby left last week and I miss him like crazy, but we are getting back to "normal."
How are your other kids doing this week? Typical week. Ds2 is full of energy bouncing off walls, DS1 is constantly begging to play video games (which we really limit - hence him begging), and DD has put off doing her schoolwork today opting to do gymnastics in the living room instead. She is usually done by 2:00, but its 3:30 and she hasn't started on math yet.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I don't remember being this tired and nauseated with my other pregnancies. I don't know if I forgot, or if its worse because I'm older.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? I see more of DH in my kids, so this was hard, but here goes... DD - she is very servant hearted...and she bottles her emotions like I do. DS1 - he is very mathematically minded DS2- he loves books.
@nopegoat I am terrified of labouring at home too long and baby coming before we get to the birth centre or hospital (unsure yet where we are going to deliver). I have not had fast deliveries like you in the past, but with DD2 I wanted to labour at home so waited until my contractions were the recommended about 5 min apart (if I'm remembering correctly it was 1 minute contractions, 5 minutes apart for 1 hour?) But by that point I was in super active labour, over 9cm dilated when I got to the hospital and she was born within an hour of our arrival. I have no desire to labour in a hospital longer than necessary, but I am planning to ask the birth centre how early I am allowed to arrive, because I think I'd be ok hanging out in those suites for several hours working through my labour rather than racing to get there in time. @kvh22 I usually just say, if its meant to be then we will. We actually weren't planning on having more than 2, but were never ready to close the door on it completely. People often asked if we would try for a boy. I've always said no, we have never been interested in trying for one sex or the other, but if we are meant to have 3 kids than we will. Figured that left the door open enough that if we did ever announce a 3rd we wouldn't be bombarded with questions about how we were so done and was this one an oops, etc.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2 girls, 5 & 3
How are your other kids doing this week? They are actually driving me completely up the wall. We start gymnastics soon, so between that, school and figure skating we just may have enough activities going on to keep everyone sane. They really thrive when they have some structured activities and there isn't much available for us around here during the daytime.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? My hips are still aching. I am walking around with what honestly looks like a 3rd trimester waddle and am really having a tough time functioning normally. We are at my ILs this week and this small town only has one chiropractor who is fully booked until next week. I know how I hurt myself this time, but the pain is so much like the intense hip pain I experienced during labour I am worried that I am in trouble for this pregnancy. Planning to speak with the chiropractor and my midwife about it the first chance I get, hopefully can come up with a plan so it doesn't get out of hand as my pregnancy progresses.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? They are both stubborn as heck. My 5 year old is also very cautious when trying new things, which is so me. 3 year old is much more like daddy and just jumps right in without a second thought.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? One son, age 2
How are your other kids doing this week? He's great. Definitely missing his grandma and papa who are out of the country for a wedding in Scotland at the moment. He usually sees them daily so he's constantly asking about them.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I'm exhausted. Just so tired. Pregnancy insomnia ends soon right😂😂
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Everything. He is so my child. His attitude for sure is all me.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 daughter 19 mos.
How are your other kids doing this week? We did not sleep much, last night. I think her nose was stuffy or something. She kept waking up every hour crying but wouldn't let me touch her. I'm so tired.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I am tired and still very short of breath. I had a meeting with a doctor, today, and this one just LOVES to talk. I enjoy casual chats with doctors but right now, I can't breathe. So, ya, that's a little hard.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? She is sassy just like me! OMG, all those years I tortured my mom, my daughter is going to do the same to me. LOL. Very unlike me though, she is so patient. I'm so grateful for that.
@blissylissy86 I'm terrified of having a baby on the side of the road. H is very confident he could deliver if he needed to. Shoot at this point I think I could deliver my own baby haha!
Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader. , 💙💙💙💙💙💙
How many kids do you already have? Ages? A 4 year old DD
How are your other kids doing this week? She loves to use our first names now. So there’s no more “mommy”, but she yells out my first name and dissolves into giggles.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I miss fish. I think since my last pregnancy I’ve really upp’d the amount of seafood I eat to the point where I have to remember how much I ate and compare it to the mercury level recommendations. Last time it was just - don’t eat Ahi... but this time I’m like... how many times have I eaten mahi mahi this week?
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Non-stop talking to the point where she makes up songs all day to sing about her life. And she also has my musical talent (read: none at all). @mrsdee15 she also has slow hair growth problems like me. 😁
@kvh22 I usually say "oh well, DD was such a difficult baby we're not really sure we want another little one any time soon" and then proceed to list off all the issues we had with her. SO MANY OMFG.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 DD, almost 2
How are your other kids doing this week? She's fine. Just trying to keep her healthy before we fly out for BIL's wedding next week. I feel bad we haven't been going to baby activities, but I don't want to fly with a sick toddler if I can avoid it. She had her happy baby dentist visit last Friday! She did a good job, didn't lose her sh*t. And she loved the Winnie the Pooh toothbrush they gave her!
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I didn't have nausea with DD like I am with this pregnancy and it sucks. Bleh.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Hmm. She's sooo much like me. Probably her lack of patience. I still don't have much. She's also strong-willed, is a chatterbox, and is starting to have a really good memory. My mom says she's exactly how I was as a toddler.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 DS, almost 2
How are your other kids doing this week? He's been so challenging this week! Constantly testing the limits and it's been pretty hard on me to stay patient while I feel like crap. DH has been swooping in to help a lot more which is so appreciated. He has started saying 4 word sentences ("I love you, mommy" "have a good day") which makes me so proud though, so I'm loving this stage of talking more!
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Only ranting that I am sick and miserable. I have what feel like a flu and sinus thing and I am dying slowly.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? He's definitely a talker like me. Very social and friendly. He's also really into reading like me, which makes my heart so happy!
*TW*
Me: 32 │ DH: 35 Married 8/16/13 BFP#1 DS 11/13/16 BFP# 2 MMC dx @ 13w 10/30/18 BFP# 3 Preemie DD born at 38w (IUGR) on 8/28/19 weighing 5.5lbs. Our little miracle
How many kids do you already have? Ages? I have one daughter, shes 1 year.
How are your other kids doing this week? She doing ok. She does keep waking up in the middle of the night and thats tough.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Rant: my husband has debilitating OCD and doesnt/can't help me much with our daughter and is not very understanding of pregnancy symptoms. I also do all cooking, cleaning etc. Concern: I had an early ultrasound last week and didn't see baby. I was supposed to be 6w3d. I have another one Oct 2nd. I had irregular periods beforehand so dr thinks I may not be as far along as I thought. It does make me nervous. 🤞🏼
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? she is silly 😋
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 ds, 2 in January
How are your other kids doing this week? Good! He’s been having some nasty teething poops for about the last week, I get a text everyday from daycare saying if he has another one he has to go home. Luckily he’s sticking to just one a day so far, and he’s completely unbothered by it. Still his happy self
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions?
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Ha everything! He’s my mini-me. He sleeps like a rock like me, he looks just like me, and he has my sass. Although we do always say he gets his comedic timing from my husband. He’s a hilarious little guy.
@youknowmenaomi does your husband not take medication for his OCD? There are very effective drugs and therapy for this condition. I know cuz i have it too. And no, it's not the type that everyone thinks they have. I have actually been diagnosed with it.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? DD is two!
How are your other kids doing this week? She’s sick 😷 and I am starting to get sick. It’s her second time with a bad cold in three weeks.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I feel bad wishing this pregnancy away but I need the first trimester to be over
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? she loves to read, eats almost anything and hates to go to bed, but loves napping
How many kids do you already have? Ages? One DD who is 3 1/2
How are your other kids doing this week? She is ornery as usual. She did sleep in her own bed all night last night so that is a win.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? meh. Nothing really. Still feels like forever until my first appointment. My pants are so tight. I don't really want to pull out the maternity pants so I might just get a new pair or two and size up. They will hopefully be my initial post-partum size so they will get used again later.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Well, she looks just like me but personality wise, she is very persistent. She is also always wanting to be a part of the group- that is probably more DH that me but I was always super involved as a kid.
@jessica41879 Ugh I'm sorry you're both sick. Something is definitely going around here, people in my office are dropping like flies!
@youknowmenaomi I hope your next ultrasound gives you some peace of mind. Irregular periods are hard. How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 DD who's 14.5 months
How are your other kids doing this week? She's doing well. She's started running (and falling) and also trying to "jump" on our bed. It's so cute.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Ridiculous rant - Someone was toasting a bagel this morning and it smelled SO GOOD. I had stupid oatmeal which just does not compare to a bagel. Now all I want is a sesame bagel toasted w/ veggie cream cheese. Rave - Starting to feel a bit less nauseous, which is a relief. U/S appointment one week from today! Nervous and excited.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Girl is super stubborn! But she's also very independent, which I love. She'll play 30-40 minutes by herself reading a book or just puttering around before she starts to want attention.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1, will be 2 yo in 1 week!
How are your other kids doing this week? He's cranky at dinner time and refuses to eat anything but chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and bananas. The nightly cry fest at dinner is driving us crazy!
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? See above...lol!
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? Not so much myself, but my son is definitely a klutz like his father...sweet thing...
@Pahialii - you can still eat seafood! Just make sure it's cooked properly, and stay away from predator fish like shark, swordfish, and mackerel. You can eat tuna but just limit it to a serving a week. I love sardines and they're safe to eat. They're at the bottom of the food chain so they're low in mercury. Very nutritious, too. Salmon is safe as well I believe, and shellfish.
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 1 son, 3 years old
How are your other kids doing this week? Great! FFWC I suppose but we finally weaned our son off the pacifier. I dunno, I just didn't have the heart to take it away from him because it brought him so much comfort. I wanted to make sure he understood it was going away before taking them. So we got him a book about the pacifier fairy who comes and takes all the pacifiers to give to new babies, and leaves a present in its place. We decorated our kitchen table while he was sleeping and put a new Thomas train out for him, some Pez candy (his favorite), and a dinosaur. We kept explaining that he gave his pacifiers away so they're gone and so far, no tears or anything. My dentist is going to yell at me when we see him in November (he told us to get rid of it before he turned 3) but in my opinion, it was worth it because there was WAY less trauma involved.
But seriously, I was starting to worry he'd grow up needing it forever and that he'd have a secret locked drawer where he stashed his pacifiers that only we and his future wife would know about.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions?: I know people sound crazy when they say this but I am so nervous I'm having twins. My fear is legitimate, though, because I transferred two perfect-graded embryos through IVF. My RE said I had a 30% chance of having twins. That seemed relatively low so I went along with it. I mean, that's like a 70% chance of NOT having twins. However, I've had early (and strong) symptoms, and I got my first BFP the morning of 4 days past 5 day transfer (that would be morning of 9DPO for anyone not doing IVF). It was faint but a definite line. I mean, we get what we get and I will welcome twins if we have them but ideally I wanted to have one baby at a time.
GTKY: My son has my easy-going attitude, flexibility, and sleeps like the dead. I'm pretty sure he gets that from my side of the family. When I was in high school I could hear my brothers' alarm clocks going off and they wouldn't wake up. I have a feeling I'll have to grab the kid by the ankles and yank him off the bed to get him up in the mornings from ages 12 to 18.
@secicc12 now I want a bagel! Maybe I'll go walk to the bagel shop down the street (it's 8:30 am here).
@youknowmenaomi we haven't had an ultrasound yet but I know I ovulated 3 weeks later than my LMP would indicate. I was just coming off the pill and still BFing so knew it'd be all sorts of weird but hopefully everything will be cleared up for you at your next ultrasound.
@wishiwaspreggo not saying your fear isn’t legitimate, definitely seems like it could be a possibility with those odds, but my positive was 9DPO too - I was only 3+2! It wasn’t even remotely a squinter and based on my OPKs I ovulated a couple days later than normal too.
@wishiwaspreggo I think your approach with paci was spot on. Let the dentist yell at you. Sometimes you have to wait for your kid to be ready. Also I turned a test super early this time (9 dpo) and have been feeling like sh*t for weeks. I would be floored if it was twins. Just solidarity in your concern! When do you get your first ultrasound?
@DuchessOfCambridge - thank you, that actually does make me feel better. I would get used to the idea, of course, if it happened. But lord, the expense, I can't even imagine... I won't be able to produce enough breast milk to support two babies. I barely made enough for my first and had to supplement with formula. And the diapers! Yeesh! I know people survive with twins and we would too but my previous RE said it's best to have babies one at a time and I agree. My current RE seems confident I could carry them just fine but still...
@bluesky24 - thank you for both responses. I've been razzed by so many people for letting my son keep his paci. But it's like co-sleeping for me. I never planned to do that but if he's scared and feels better being next to us and sleeping with us, whatever. He sleeps through the night and he sleeps like the dead. One day I'll probably miss having him with us in bed. But probably not THAT much lol... And thank you, too, for the reassurance on the early positive. Let's hope it's just a nice, sticky singleton!! What's really throwing me off though are the symptoms. I felt nothing with my son's pregnancy, not until 2nd trimester. But now... ugh, I feel so barfy!!!
How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2 daughters, 5 & 2.5
How are your other kids doing this week? We all just got past the first cold of the school year, 5 yo is teething her 6 year molars and at her dentist appt they said she might start losing some of her baby teeth soon.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions?
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? d1 - stubbornness and sweet tooth d2 - sensitive and observant, definitely an introvert like me
@wishiwaspreggo So I was a nanny when j was in grad school for a family that had four kids...triplets and their brother 18 months old. The triplets were carried by a surrogate. Three eggs were implanted, three babies were had. They were told a 20% chance of twins, 1% of triplets...not to scare you! But my one of my best friends also has (spontaneous) twins that were due the same day as my second and she wouldn't change it for the world (despite being terrified at the time). Andplusalso don't stress about producing enough milk right now. Every breastfeeding experience is different. With my first I nursed her to 8 months but had to supplement in the later months because I couldn't even pump half of what she needed when I was at work. With my second I nursed her past 13 months and consistently pumped 1-3 ounces over what she needed every single day. It was very different experiences for both!

@MalonT23 that first ultrasound is soooo amazing!
#2 and #3 I was admitted straight from my 38wk OB appt after cervical checks showing I was 5+cm with no contractions. They broke my water to get things going and were born 1.5hrs later.
#4 I had consist and strong contractions for 30mins, water broke on its own, and he was here 50mins later.
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙
I guess she did get my super slow-growing, light hair.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
I'm proud that she got that from me
How are your other kids doing this week?
DS1 - sensitive perfectionist
DS2 - chocolate fiend
BFP: 10.3.16 | CP: 10.11.16

BFP: 9.9.18 | EDD 5.23.19 -- DD born 5.24.19
BFP: 9.1.21 | MC 10.1.21
How are your other kids doing this week? Both kids are doing well. It's been a little slow getting ready in the morning since it's been chillier (ok, I admit it. I'm the one who wants to stay in bed lol)
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? They both are doing great in school which I'm super happy about!
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself? My oldest is very sensitive and I think he gets that from me.
@nopegoat #5 is going to come in the car...
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
DS1 - he is very mathematically minded
DS2- he loves books.
I'm so grateful for that.
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙
@nopegoat you would totally be able to do it!
Married 8/16/13

BFP# 2 MMC dx @ 13w 10/30/18
BFP# 3 Preemie DD born at 38w (IUGR) on 8/28/19 weighing 5.5lbs. Our little miracle
DD2- EDD 5/12/2019
@youknowmenaomi we haven't had an ultrasound yet but I know I ovulated 3 weeks later than my LMP would indicate. I was just coming off the pill and still BFing so knew it'd be all sorts of weird but hopefully everything will be cleared up for you at your next ultrasound.
GTKY: What is the biggest trait you see in your child that reminds you of yourself?
d1 - stubbornness and sweet tooth
d2 - sensitive and observant, definitely an introvert like me
