@mytrueloves I just don't understand why people have this need to insert what they think is best and ignore what would be truly helpful. I read all of these posts about everyone's family and it blows my mind. I'm thankful both my family and my ILs are afraid of being intrusive for the most part. I know my mom had to deal with her MIL being all up in her business and tries to not be like that. The downside to that is sometimes I feel like they don't care.
I lost my mucus plug today, which logically I know is like dilation and can mean nothing or something, but regardless it sent me into a nesting frenzy. I suddenly decided it was time to sanitize bottles and pacifiers and managed to splash boiling water onto my belly resulting in a large minor burn and a quarter sized blister. Just what I needed when I'm already uncomfortable and feel like everything on my belly is too tight. I'm going to have to admit to the doctor that I'm a spazzy klutz at my appointment on Friday when she questions it...
@KFrob I think I’ve been losing mine in pieces over the last week or so, and I don’t know what to make of it. I never noticed it when I was pregnant with DS, so this is new for me. Curious if they’ll do a cervical check at my appt this afternoon, though I know those are equally meaningless...
@pumpkinpancake I remember losing it with DD, I just have no idea at what point it happened and how far after labor started. I wish I kept track. So much unknown, it's driving me crazy!
I still don't know if I lost mine. I sent a pic to my doula and she said she thinks so...but I have no clue what it even looks like...Googling it was a mistake...since I lost it almost two weeks ago, I feel like it means not a whole lot. I wish it did though. I am so ready.
@mytrueloves - yeah, that shit doesn’t fly. I’m still mad at a friend of mine for doing something like that with my dog- I can’t imagine someone pulling that with my child.
@SweetSweetTooth@halfanewt oh man, then I was "done" at 20 weeks! I have an aggressive belly button, I've been told lol. Once an outie, always an outie!
@kfrob of only I was willing to pay for it lol I went and spent some gift cards on baby stuff and now I'm on Amazon looking for s little something for DH maybe even myself! I love gift cards!
@halfanewt if it's the "done" button than my body and baby are SO confused mine goes from flat/slight innie to popped completely out multiple times a day. Lol Mine took a little while last time, but it did go completely back to being an innie.
@mamabearcj what time are you scheduled for? Share pics with us when you’re ready, just know I’ll be obsessively refreshing to see if they’re up yet!!! Wishing you a smooth c section, easy recovery and so many cuddles with your babies!”
@mamabearcj - Good luck tomorrow! Just remember that while this may be your first time, your medical team has done this countless times. Enjoy all of the excitement and try not to stress!
Re: Randoms 9/15
@nasalot188 I feel like I needed it to put me in go mode since I've been so stinking tired! It also pushed me to shave the lady parts and legs hahaha.
Edit--I am guessing yes!
