I was actually expecting today to be a stabby day because DH is at a Bachelor Party and and I’m solo parenting the almost 3yo, but so far so good. I just have to get through bed time.
My dinosaur is only being fed my breastmilk. They add some stuff to it, but that is all he gets.
Every few days, I ask his nurse about inventory and take in more if they need it. Yesterday, when I asked, I got this whole long story about yadayada, and the nurse told me that yes, I should bring some in, but he “didn’t need too much, maybe 2-3 bottles.”
So I was confused, because he needs a continuous supply. For reference, 2-3 bottles would maybe last 6 feedings. Whatever- I brought in 5 bottles from my freezer and figured I would check with the next shift to see what the inventory really was.
So a bit later, I asked the night nurse to check, and she informed me that “in addition to what was in the fridge, there was an almost completely full tub in the freezer.” I am so glad I didn’t pump at the hospital yesterday because otherwise I would not have found anything wrong with this statement.
The earlier nurse had put my frozen breastmilk in the fridge!!!
No. Just no.
Oh- and this was after I had found something else the same lady had done to be all jacked up.
I'm stabby to be awake at 730 when I got zero sleep last night. I had such bad reflux and would try to arrange my pillows so I was sitting up more and as soon as it was comfy it was time to pee. Then come back and do it all over again.. every time I turned one side or the other DH would moan like it was affecting him and he is such a blanket hog!!! Its cold! we got a frost last night and I have our stupid fan blowing on us, give me the friggen blankets man. The biggest reason I'm stabby is because DH is the one who woke me up this am. 7 O clock and he is up ready to watch football that doesn't start for hours!? When I get up early in the week he complains he cant sleep in ever but when it's something he wants to do it up early, on his own, no alarm, nothing!?! I'm tired abs cranky and cold.
I am super stabby because I itch like a MF, after being diagnosed with puppps!! Yes, I am the 1/150 women to get this nasty pregnancy rash. My legs, arms and stomach are covered in itchy hives. Apparently my only relief is giving birth, so I have another six weeks of misery to look forward to. There’s pretty much no treatment that helps. It is worse at night and itching it makes it worse. It is not Harmful to the fetus, at least, just incredibly uncomfortable for me. I hope no one else ends up with this!!
@jennybean80 and @chyvie thank you! It totally sucks, I had no idea this was a thing. Really hoping that it calms down or goes away quickly. These weeks are going to drag even more now...
@dash83 oh no! I'm so sorry to hear. That sounds incredibly uncomfortable! Here's to a speedy and healthy delivery. Man the things we go through to bring these little humans into the world!!
