@professormama funny enough eggos is what I had this morning with my coffee.
The coffee made a much bigger impression coming back up then the eggos though.
Im sitting at my desk now just hoping I don’t have to throw up again. The bathroom is actually outside our office in the main building and there is no way to make it in time. Jolly ranchers seem to be helping since I keep picking the more sour flavors.

In case anybody is needing it - Target carries the B6 preggie pops next to the pregnancy tests. They really do help with the nausea, just make sure to get the ones with B6 and not the regular ones. The flavor is sour raspberry/lemon.
I’ve had a lot of nausea, especially if I cook or eat dinner. And getting more round ligament pains already. I even had a lightning croch moment. I have a hyper mobility syndrome anyway, so I’m sure it’s just stretching already...
I also got the gentle but firm “don’t gain weight” talk from my nurse. high BMI sucks. I am apparently supposed to gain 11-20lbs total (last pregnancy I only gained 20 until the last two weeks.) so far I have held even. I just feel sad when I get the talk.
@kbirchtree I react a little differently, in that I don’t really WANT to gain much weight, but agree that it sucks to be looked at like BMI is a reliable gauge of one’s health. I get it, it is A tool, but it shouldn’t be used as the ONLY sorting tool.
@lyse01with you on that. Of course I want to be healthy and grow a happy baby but gains are hard for me @chelseay416 there are B-natal sour apple pops too that I got from Amazon, they taste just like jolly ranchers. Between them and two other morning sickness pops and nausea ease aromatherapy roller, something is bound to help at least a little
My ultimate craving is spicy foods, but unfortunately it’s put me in the position of being the complete opposite of constipated. And I just... don’t care. Making spicy packaged Korean ramen with eggs for dinner. Which means I’ll continue to suffer. But I just CANNOT seem to give up the spicy.
I ate a disgusting amount of garlic bread for dinner, and nothing else. And now I feel disgusting. Also - who knew cold sores were a pregnancy thing? Ugh. Thank goodness for Abreva.
@professormama I'm mostly getting canker sores, and I'm not sure the meds for those are safe. Stupid immunity issues. It might not be helping that I'm craving ALL the heirloom tomatoes!
I’ve graduated to actually throwing up, not just nausea anymore :,( I had to break the news to my work on my fifth day here because I thought I was going to throw up while training... this evening DH had to go on A rescue mission for sprite, unisom, b6, seabands and cereal. Let’s hope one of them works!!!
@sdelg09 haha. I had spicy chicken for lunch the other day and the. Went home and had severe GI distress. Then today I realized I hadn’t pooped since. Wtf body?
