@jmesue1030 I'm waiting for second trimester when my face clears up! I had hoped that I would see less acne as soon as I got pregnant, but I forgot that it takes a while. Pregnancy is definitely weird. It's so interesting how it's different for each woman and how a first pregnancy for a woman can be different for her next!
@kaleesi93 when I was pregnant with my daughter I made the mistake of watching Lilo and Stitch for the first time not thinking much.... my son was truly concerned for me bc I was sobbing so hard.... the cries are so real lol
Anyone else lose weight? I'm actually down 3lbs this week. (Even after a fudge incident yesterday) I'm counting Weight Watchers points to keep me accountable but I put it to maintenance and added extra points from there.
@dapoint23, I actually lost 10 pounds in the first trimester with my first kiddo, mostly I put it down to the constant nausea and not working out as much.
@nottodaysatan Distractions... the RBG Movie is available for purchase on iTunes! You could read a romance novel (I personally love anything Nora Roberts). Go bowling? Okay, I'm out. I've got all my fingers crossed for you though.
@BarefootContessa try adding chlorophyll drops to your water! Ive pretty much been off deodorant for months because chlorophyll is an internal deodorant.
And add me to the zero appetite boat... I made myself eat breakfast, but haven't felt like eating since. I'm not nauseated exactly, but just don't feel like eating. Ugh.
I’m on day 4 of not being able to go to the bathroom. Anybody else experiencing this? I really don’t want to stop taking my prenatals but I’m kind of miserable. Nothing has worked and I’m not sure if laxatives are safe.
Edit: I think the prunes worked. Sorry for the tmi but hey, is there any tmi between pregnant women?
@sdelg09, definitely no such thing as TMI between pregnant women and mothers, haha. I haven't gotten completely constipated yet but definitely having gastrointestinal issues. I totally think my mom giving birth to 8 kids caused her IBS, and I had some greater lactose intolerance after having my DS. Hormones are crazy.
@kangstadt I actually have IBS and very mild crohns, so being on the opposite of that spectrum right now is so weird for me. I don’t even know how to handle it.
@MRDCle a friend just recommended fiber gummies. She’s at 13 weeks. Said she takes 2-3 a day and has absolutely no issues! I might try it.
@sdelg09, ugh, pregnancy is crazy with how it changes our bodies.
@professormama, that's a pregnancy symptom too?! Geez! I've been having some weird dreams and remembering them lately, but didn't think anything of it.
Maybe TMI, but hey, at least this symptom is a positive one... anyone else having really enjoyable sex now that they're pregnant? I thought I was just odd, but makes sense since everything is filled with more blood thus more sensation. DH is under strict orders to avoid my sore nipples though!
@sdelg09 that is probably my biggest symptom unfortunately. The first pregnancy it got so bad that I would wake up with extreme abdominal pains that would make me cry. This time around I'm taking fiber pills and watching what I eat to help. So far it has only gotten bad once but it's definitely not my normal.
I just woke up from a nap (badly needed) and man o man the dream I had...it felt so real and it kind of freaked me out so count me in for those vivid dreams.
I am still paranoid with cramps. Nothing painful just feel like I shouldn't be having them at this point (5 weeks 1 day). Constipated like many and my face looks like I am a teenager again. No morning sickness yet. Or at all... who knows
@Oksana1987 my OB specifically said cramps are very normal this early. It’s not just implantation causing them. Even if you’re well past that, you’ll have cramps as your uterus stretches.

Honestly I am too. I remember it's normal from my first pregnancy but I'm being very paranoid. When I feel the cramps I go and rest, it seems to help
Still cramping like mad at 4 weeks and have been since O. Bloating, nausea (but no barf, will that come?), mood swings. And my sex drive has plummeted
@sdelg09 I'm with you, usually I have problems w/pooping all the time. Now I feel the need to go all the time but can't get anything to come out lol. Sorry for the TMI.
I used to have bad constipation and my first actually made me regular. I've been constipated again since getting pregnant. Hoping this kid doesn't switch me back. I'm not currently taking iron and want to but I'm afraid of it making the problem worse
Same!! @mrwhittakers020 First pregnancy I was super tired really early on and basically slept my whole first trimester. This time around I have major insomnia. I am so bloated that I feel like I’m 4 mo pregnant On top of it all I am extremely irritable. Good news is no nausea yet hoping it stays that way for me!
Is anyone else just constantly annoyed? I feel like the hardest thing about this pregnancy is having a 3yo who needs my attention and patience. And I have ZERO patience right now. I just want to lay on the couch and watch TV and eat food.
@professormama, you definitely aren't alone with that one. I feel like I'm constantly on the verge of an anxiety attack and I've been snapping at DH a lot more than I'd like to admit....
First trimester is exhausting. First trimester with a toddler is beyond words. I would take three naps a day if my 4yo would let me.

the second tri feels forever away. Glad to have you all to relate to because my husband doesn't get it, that's for sure haha

Yes. This, completely! Basically my thoughts this entire time with every new symptom, haha.
And this “pregnancy glow”? Um, no. It’s just the sheen from my acne.
