I sincerely hope that this thread remains otherwise inactive until late September.

D was born yesterday at 33w exactly. So I didn't make it as long as I hoped, but some. Started contracting about 230 and it went fast. She was born via c-section at 420, definitely breech and had already gotten her foot through my cervix.
She's doing great! Big for gestation at 4 lbs exactly and 17 inches. She is breathing on her own, regulating temp, and sucking a pacifier. They don't expect the sucking/swallowing/breathing instinct until starting at 34w, so she does have an iv for nutrition right now. But she's doing amazing! She's absolutely gorgeous!
Docs made the decision to do an emergency c-section, and our sweet boy was born at 7:14pm, 9/10/18. He weighs 5lbs 6oz, 18in long.
Still in the NICU for heart and lung monitoring. Haven’t been able to hold him yet, and I’m losing my mind over it. Otherwise he’s strong and we’re hopeful for a quick road to 100%.
We’re so so in love with you baby boy.
**** Spoilers Below ****
were out to supper yesterday, so I was induced. I wasn’t progressing even with the pitocin, so I ended up getting an epidural and then went from 4cm to baby in less than 2 hours!
After delivery I PPH’d and then passed out in the shower (naked, on one of my favourite co-workers )
Everything has settled now, Maisie has been nursing well, and we’re hoping to go home tomorrow!
The kids we’re super exited to get a sister! Team Green --> Pink!
Starting having cramps/contractions at 3:00 am. By 4:00 am they were coming frequently and strong so we headed to the hospital. I was at a 6 in triage and asked for the epidural as soon as we got in our room. Progressed to a 9 within an hour or so. Stayed there for a couple hours then finally got to a 10. Pushed through 3-4 contractions and our little man came out (face up). Another successful VBAC.
Baby is perfect and big bro and big sis are so excited!
Okay, okay, okay! I feel rested enough to write this now!
Thursday morning I had my OB appointment and my doctor must have engaged the labor process by stretching my cervix. By lunchtime I was having early labor contractions and went to triage around 3pm. We were sent home at 5 to labor at home more and by 11, we were back on the road to triage!
After being admitted, I was given morphine to “take the edge off” of my contractions, which is basically bullshit, but appreciated nonetheless. My water broke around 2, and finally my glorious epidural was placed by 3:30 and I slept until it was go time!
My doctor came in at the very end of her shift and told me to push, which I did with fervor and got little Arlo out in 20 minutes at 8:42 Friday morning! He weighed in at a perfect 7lbs and measures 19.5 inches. Dude is feeding well and pooping like an absolute champ (takes after his daddy in virtually every way).
My contractions started at 1:18am starting 1 every 10 mins lasting just under a minute which were first manageable but quickly increased to 1 every 4 mins once I called Triage and increased in pain making it hard to talk through them.
Once I was admitted into the day assessment room at around 5:00am I measured 3-4cm dilated and continued breathing through my contractions without pain relief until the birthing pool was ready which I went into just before 7:00am and was given gas and air as previously requested.
The contractions became VERY intense very quickly once I emerged into the pool and within a few pushes our baby boy was here!
The labor and delivery were extremely intense and after a few hours of back to back contractions I went ahead and got the epidural and even though I was trying to go without it, it was the best decision I made.
After it all I'm just overwhelmed by how much I love this little guy and it's hard to wrap our minds around the fact that he's ours!
@ashantileetv I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
