Super annoyed with myself!

I got to the lab at 10min after 7 this morning to do the 3hr Glucose test.  Because (1) hungry and (2) I got things to do today.  

The lab was completely dark.  Nobody home.  For one breif moment, I considered the possibility that they had stopped doing tests on Saturdays and panicked, but rationality took over. 

I checked the posted hours.  The lab opens at 8.  

The dumbest part of this?  I even considered checking the website to verify that it opened at 7, but was positively sure I came at 7 when I did this back in March.

I went to a different hospital today for my glucose test because it's close to my house.  There was no one at the welcome desk to tell me where the lab was. I found a random employee, who didn't know where it was either. Instead he took me to the actual lab where they run the tests and they told me where to go. So I walked all over the damn hospital, just to end up back where I started basically.

The guy I asked seriously walked like he was in a race as I waddled slowly behind him. Dude. I'm clearly pregnant. Slow down!

Stabby at my mouth. One of my top wisdom teeth has got to come out. So gross but a little piece of it broke off and it hurts so bad I couldn’t sleep last night. Tylenol is a joke. I don’t know where to go on a Saturday (last dentist visit was pretty much a drive thru cleaning place) or what they’ll even be able to do since I’m pregnant. Right now I wouldn’t care if they straight up cut it out with nothing for the pain. Wouldn’t be much difference from how much it hurts now. Cheers to the freakin weekend!

@jynjer91 - This probably won’t make you feel better, but...

If I recall correctly, the dentist will likely want your OB to sign off on anything other than a basic cleaning. Also, if you can find an oral surgeon rather than a dentist to do the extraction, you’ll probably be happier in the long run. 

No clue what they will need/do for an emergency extraction.

The place I’m looking at going to has the option of being put under or just using a local for extractions according to their website. It also says they have oral surgeons on staff. I don’t want just anyone hacking away at my mouth though! They open in 20 min so I’m just going to talk to them and ask 40k questions I guess.

Dudeeee, so disgusted. I posted last weekend about my dog having a wet dream or something of the like. All has been normal with him since and I spoke with the breeder we got him from because she has raised dogs and his breed for so long she is super knowledgeable. She said it is pretty normal unneutered 2yo male behavior. This morning my husband was sitting on the couch and was talking to my dog in an excited voice telling him what a good boy he is so he came over and put the front half of his body on my husbands lap being all sweet. All of a sudden my husband tells me omg I thing his penis is cumming on me. Sure enough ell erect and spewing cum. Nastiest thing ever. This boy needs fixing ASAP.

@knottieamusements that's so frustrating! I did something similar yesterday but not while hungry so not as bad. I rushed to get ready and out the door thinking I was going to be late for my 3pm chiro appointment only to realize halfway there it was at 4pm. I got a decaf iced coffee out of the trip anyway. 

I'm stabby this morning bc I was very excited to not set an alarm and hopefully sleep in until at least 8/8:30. Cat woke me up promptly at 6:30 to be fed (not the norm) probably bc she puked half her dinner last night and was extra hungry extra early this AM. Finally fell back asleep around 8 but then slept in way too late so now I have to run around to get ready for a birthday party in less than an hour. I can't win!

@jynjer91 and @jellybelly114 I totally laughed at him too, then realized I can’t have this going on bringing a newborn into this home and having company. So nasty lol. But I totally did laugh at his expense. I don’t even think my dog knew any of that happened.

@jellybelly114 I’m so hoping my animals waking me up has somewhat helped to prepare me for a newborn waking me up. Somehow I doubt the 2 compare though. My fat cat usually starts meowing in our room by 7. At least I can try and ignore him for a bit and not feel too bad about it since I know he is eating just fine by the size of his belly. On the flip side If my cats leave me alone and my dog gets hungry he starts puking bile in the corner of the room and that’s just one of those noises that sucks to be woken up to. Animals are just the best. That was my morning today. Good luck with the bd party today!

DH has been complaining about being tired all morning. He went and laid down, but that doesn’t get to happen when I’m tired. Good thing it’s almost time for DD’s nap.

@jynjer91 my dentist required a letter from the OB for a normal cleaning. And they won't do anything 1st trimester (not an issue for us now though).

We had my mom watch Loki when he was only like 5 months old. She called me saying our puppy kept humping their dog and "spewing" stuff on their carpet. I laughed but also felt bad. 

My mom and dad got angry eyes today. We are having a birthday party for my grandma's 75th. We ordered pizza and there's a ton left over. So I told my aunt I'd take the left over bread sticks. My mom and dad start addamently telling me I don't need them. I was pissed and told them how I've only gained 20lb and I'm fine. My aunt and mom then told me they both gained 60lb so I feel good.

Well after an hour and forty minutes I gave up on my 2.5 year old taking a nap today...

Thankfully I'm not stabby today though we still have some hours left in the day for someone to piss me off lol.

Stabby about nap time - the kids would not shut it for their break time so I couldn’t fall asleep and when they FINALLY did, MH called to talk about the flour at the store (there’s a reason, but I told him I would just get it when I go to the store so that I didn’t have to figure out which one to get over the phone). So I ended up with no nap.  

On the plus side, the breathing thing happened while I was awake this time and it is definitely not because I stop breathing. I took a huge, involuntary breath and since I was awake, I was able to move and give myself more room to breathe. Apparently the couch puts me at a bad angle for breathing. Last pregnancy the couch was the only place I could get some sleep at the end, but it was a different couch, so no idea what I’m going to do in a couple months.

SS is with us for the day to see DHs family. His mom dropped him off to us this am, which is great. Except he came to us in this case shirt.... MIL and SIL are just as turned off by it as I am. And even SIL thinks it was distasteful and intentional (SIL has been friends with/know DHs ex since she was like 10).

@sammierose464 does he have clothes that frequently end up at either house? Like something you and DH boys that he wears to his moms and you might not see it again for awhile?? If so I'd be throwing that shirt away. Its pretty distasteful...

Sometimes. Unfortunately he goes back to his mom tonight, so there's no reason for us to change his shirt.

Unless you accidentally on purpose spill something on him as you’re walking by and he needs to get a clean shirt.  Even better if it’s something that stains.

Wow. That is below the belt insulting and uncalled for. Especially since she knew DS was seeing family. I'd get some mustard on it and stain it good like @purplegoldfish2 suggested

I wish! It's very tempting. And if we had a change of clothes I might have just let it get really wet when they were all playing with water guns and such. Next time it comes to our house it won't end up back at hers.
