1. How many weeks are you? 8  What size is baby? Raspberry

2. How are you feeling? Awful. Too many symptoms to name. Nausea is the biggest offender. Thankful I'm not puking (yet), though I feel like I want to/am going to 24/7

3. Any appointments this week? I had one on Monday, US is this coming Monday! 

4. Rants/ raves/ questions? Anyone else been prescribed mag citrate for pregnancy constipation? How quickly does it work?

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love? Dogs. They can be cute and funny and give me all the videos but I cannot stand them in person. It annoys me how so many people obsess over them all the time.

Go ahead and flame. I ran out of fucks week 5.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? - 8 weeks, raspberry.

2. How are you feeling? - Okay! Nausea comes in waves throughout the day, and the waves are getting stronger. Still haven’t puked besides twice on a plane (that wasn’t fun). Boobs are sore and I have vivid dreams, but all these symptoms are reassuring me things might work out. Oh and my spotting has stopped again! Maybe for good this time?

3. Any appointments this week? - First group appt today! Thought it was tomorrow for the longest time, but my calendar set me straight. I’m way more excited/nervous about my US next Tuesday though.

4. Rants/ raves/ questions? - Tuesday can’t come soon enough.

5. GTKY: - What is something you hate that people love? Shellfish. It’s weird because I’m not a picky eater and I love fish, but any crustacean makes me gag.

8 weeks, raspberry. I keep reminding myself that this pregnancy is a fifth over, but it's still creeping by so slowly.

2. How are you feeling?

Exhaustion is still an issue and nausea reared its ugly head this past week. It's the classic morning sickness and while I normally don't eat breakfast, I've now had to eat something in the mornings to make the nausea go away. Also, pregnancy pops for the win!

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, not til 7/25 when I'll be 10 weeks exactly. Can't wait to see LO and hear that heartbeat! I also have to get blood work done at some point between now and this appointment.

4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

My rant is that my milk supply has gone way down due to pregnancy hormones. My poor DD-12months may not be BFed as long as DS was (we made it to 20 months, even though I was pregnant with DD). 

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love? 

I'm going to copy @notthecheat and say dogs. I don't care to see videos or pics of them though. What bothers me most about dogs is how people sometimes treat them better than humans. Also, when I hear someone make a BS excuse about how they can't go on vacation or have to cut a fun time short because they have to take care of their dog is so annoying. Also, I find it pretty ridiculous that folks willingly pay thousands for their pup's medical treatments meanwhile I've LITERALLY seen actual humans choose death over putting their families in debt from medical expenses. This world is so weird.

@grebetso- yay for no more spotting! Mine stopped 10 days ago, but likely won't be gone for good until the SCH goes away completely. Any chance they can give you an earlier ultrasound just for reassurance? Sounds like the SCHs are super common, but spotting seems like a good reason to get more ultrasounds

2. How are you feeling? Still nauesous and so anxious. I think the Diclegis is a helping a little. is anyone else on it?

3. Any appointments this week? I had an U/S yesterday. We confirmed one baby stopped growing. The other baby looked good with a HB of 155. While we weren't expecting the other one to make it, its still sad of course. My SCH is also still large, but they said it looked like it was clotting up. Hopefully it will just absorb and not pass!

4. Rants/ raves/ questions? Can it just be the second trimester already?! This is my first pregnancy and I waited years to get here, but i'm really ok if the next 5 weeks just went really fast.

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love? hmm probably seafood! I am a steak and potatoes person

Hello Wednesday ladies! My dating ultrasound gave me an EDD of Feb 13 so here I am.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

9 weeks, size of a cherry (and postage stamp)

2. How are you feeling?

Blah... Nausea has thankfully been mild but between getting out of work and going to bed I feel very crummy. I also wake up feeling like I didn't sleep even though I wasn't disturbed or anything...

3. Any appointments this week?

 Next 7 days are calm and I'm glad. 

4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

Pregnancy brain... WTF?! I had something to do at work first thing in the morning. I remembered it at NOON. it was sending a report out to 180 people. Hopefully no one missed it. 

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love?

I won't let Kraft dinner cross my lips and it seems to be a source of fond childhood memories for lots of people... 
I'm curious @notthecheat and @MrsCaliRN, is it specific to dog or do you dislike most pets, domesticated animals? I get it, people are cray about their dogs (including me! ).

Maybe I should clarify: I don't dislike dogs per se, I just hate the bizarre attachments that people seem to form towards them. Dogs are animals, and I think that sometimes people forget that. To answer your question though: I've had several pet fish, two pet red-eared slider turtles and 3 cats (one who I still have currently). When all of these animals died, as animals eventually do, I wasn't torn up about it and didn't shed a single tear, because they're animals; I enjoyed them for what they were but never thought of them akin to a person. It just irks me when people carry on about their pets' special needs, special diets, special sleeping spaces, habits, toys, environment, etc., I just want to scream at the top of my lungs: just because you give it a name, doesn't mean it's more than just an animal! In any case, thanks for seeking clarification, especially as a dog-lover, I can only imagine your horrified/shocked face at reading my opinion.

@MrsCaliRN I was honestly just curious, not horrified. I grew up on a farm - a proper functioning, technically for-profit operation - so I completely understand relating to animals in different ways. And I completely get what you mean by people losing sight of the human/animal distinction.

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love?

A lot of popular tv shows, Big Bang Theory, This is Us, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead,The Voice, American Idol, and such.  But I like other tv shows.

@disneybaby84 Oh god I HATE Big Bang Theory with a fiery passion. The other shows I can understand someone liking (and I like some myself), but BBT? There is nothing appealing about it whatsoever. Unfunny and unappealing in every way.

Yes! Another BBT hater here. From a self-proclaimed geek/nerd at that. I just don't find it very funny. Same thing with Friends. Maybe I am broken?

@becks_726 for me personally I am not really an animal person. It's all the hair, the smell, the poop, the barf, the drool/breath/licking, the incessant noise, the ruining your shit, the always all up in your face, etc. Dogs just happen to be the most extreme offenders, but also the group that other people seem to be most passionate about, like they are better than people and can do no wrong. I have no problem with dog lovers but when that's all people ever talk about is how great they are, it really turns me off.

I know it sounds hypocritical because all the things I complained about pretty much can apply to children, and I love children. I guess I just never got anything before out of a relationship with an animal to make it worth it. I have a cat, but really it's because DH is an animal lover. He wants a dog so bad and I am dreading getting one.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 9 weeks. Baby is the size of an eastern tailed-blue butterfly.

2. How are you feeling? Less nauseous yesterday, so that was nice. Still exhausted though.

3. Any appointments this week? Nope. MH and I are touring hospitals and birth centers this week though. We’re trying to decide where I want to deliver, then pick a care provider who practices there. 

4. Rants/ raves/ questions? I’d love for food to sound tasty again! 

5. GTKY: What is something you hate that people love? I’m another who dislikes dogs. I’m totally fine with people obsessing over their animals and seeing them as part of the family, I just think dogs are kind of gross. My two kitties are fine though.
