  • Options
Exhausted, irritable, bloated, boobs are tender, absolutely starving every couple hours, congested, crappy sleep.

Bloated, nauseous, boobs super tender and I could sleep the entire day!
  • Options
Bloated, but I think that's the progesterone I'm on. Been waiting every day for boobs to start aching but they haven't yet. I'm starting to worry. I keep telling myself I'm only 4w4d but with first pregnancy I was definitely feeling more symptoms. Guess I will just have to wait and see.
  • Options
@nomangos23 it’s so hard to not worry at this point! FX that your numbers double tomorrow!!
  • Options
I am extremely hungry. I lost a good amount of weight in the past couple of months and it feels like I'm making up for all of those calories now. Also, I'm exausted and extremely irritable.

@nomangos23 It's such a stressful situation. Everyone tells you not to compare pregnancies, but it's impossible not to. My boobs don't hurt yet either, and it worries me as well. Hugs to you.

@christac1010 That meme made me laugh out loud! I’ve been so irritable over the past 24 hours!!!
  • Options
I have the fatigue and very tender boobs and my abdomen feels like a weird mix of bloated/full but luckily not queasy today.

Then DH told me I was 'acting a little moody today' when I said sorry for not really wanting to cuddle (too hot!! And my body feels weird!!) and it took so much self control to not break out the inner voice of 'oh, you want to see moody?? I can SHOW you moody! You did this to me!!'

I didn't. I said sorry, and went to go walk the dog (in the heat!!).

I woke up at 5:15 AM because of morning sickness. The exhaustion didn’t totally kick in until this past weekend, I think I took 3 naps yesterday! Also can’t call nerves and anxiety about a miscarriage. I’ve never had one and they are just so common!

Just got a reliable bfp today. So far I've been having some light cramping, gassiness/heartburn, and sore neck and back. Unfortunately I need to cancel my massage appointment for tomorrow. I was really looking forward to it, but massage envy won't take me in 1st Tri. I didn't get a lot of symptoms with DD, but headaches, cramping, and insatiable hunger were some of them.

I've had some serious breast tenderness. Only had to deal nausea once so far, thankfully. I feel like I'm always eating. If I don't eat about once every three hours I feel like I could eat my own arm. I've had some gas but not too bad yet. I'm also tired all the time but I can't seem to sleep very well at night. That's super frustrating.

@mommaangie32019 i'm right there with you! no morning sickness (yet) but i napped 3x yesterday and even though i've never had a miscarriage (or been pregnant before for that matter) i can't stop thinking about the possibility!!!! DH and i had to abruptly cancel our trip to jamaica (zika virus) one week before leaving for my giant family wedding/reunion.... so i basically had no choice but to tell 65 very excited people. i think having spilled the beans to so many people is what's making me extra anxious about that scary possibility but we really had no other viable option. try to stay positive and well-rested!!!

I’m nauseous, exhausted, irritable and my boobs hurt soooo bad which is awful since I’m still BFing DS2. But *TW* after 3 losses I’m almost enjoying all my symptoms because it’s all good signs. I’m also bloated and my face is covered in acne but that’s probably the progesterone.

I’ve had a dip in symptoms which I know is normal. Just trying to enjoy not being miserable.

Hello insomnia! I don’t remember you being around until Tri 3 with my son! Other than that just a bit of nausea that comes and goes in waves right now.
  • Options
@ashley14598 the insomnia is killing me! I’m so tired and as soon as I get into bed, I’m WIDE awake. I never had this with DS.

Between peeing and dry heaving, I may have to tell my boss sooner rather than later. Or I’ll just move my desk into the bathroom. I’ve been popping preggy pop drops for longer meetings but this nausea is really kicking my butt.
  • Options
@christac1010 yes!!! That’s exactly how I am DS is down for a nap right now and I just want to sleep but every time I try I just toss and turn. At night I’ve been falling asleep close to 11 and prompting waking back up around 4 ... it’s so irritating!

Im sorry the nausea is bothering you so much! Have you tried the sea bands? They helped with my last pregnancy and I’ve busted them out a couple times already this time too.
  • Options
@ashley14598 I have some sea bands at my house that I bought for motion sickness. My fear is that they’ll give me away though. I brought in saltines and ginger ale to hide in my cube, so I’m going to try and grin and bear it - then ask the OB for medication. I lost 12lbs in 8w last time and I kept telling myself I didn’t need medicine because I wasn’t always throwing up - I wasn’t eating either though. My OB was really worried about me so we’re going to be more vigilant this time.

@christac1010 oh dear girl I get it! I was on prescription medication for mine last time (luckily she just gave me samples) and lost a lot of weight as well! I couldn’t look at pictures of food (no Pinterest, Facebook, commercials, going to the grocery store, etc) for me. I actually only got sick 1 time though. I’m praying that it doesn’t get that bad this time! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

@ashley14598 That describes my last pregnancy perfectly. It was like being hung over forever.

Fatigue, irritable, emotional, constantly sore boobs, and only one brief morning of nausea (fingers crossed that that is it for nausea!!)

Exhausted and nauseous. And it totally doesn't help that I spilled Indian food into every fabriced crevice of my trunk on Thursday and it's suuuuper hot out. Blech.

I’m kinda nervous that I don’t have any obvious symptoms. Still just feeling like a lengthy PMS and I’m definitely feeling fewer symptoms this week compared to last week...

Not to be TMI but the constipation is real :/ Anyone have any good suggestions??
  • Options
@mae787 oh it is so real. It’s the pregnancy combined with the damn prenatal vitamins! In my first pregnancy I ate 4 prunes every morning before breakfast and that did the trick. Unfortunately I have been too sick for breakfast most mornings this time around.

Lots of food and using Rainbow Light Prenatas! They are amazing on my stomach.

Edit because that was supposed to say fruit but my brain wanted food I guess.

@navete it’s early still. Some women don’t notice symptoms until 8-10 weeks.

@meggyme Thanks for that reminder. I gotta keep in mind that every pregnancy is different and to try not to worry needlessly. That first appointment can’t come soon enough though lol

Woohoo 6 weeks today! Back to work today after a long vacation for the 4th...first time back at work since getting my BFP. I have some lower back pain/pain in my butt! And holy cow are my boobs sore! My husband has been away on a business trip since I found out that we were expecting & he comes home tomorrow. Can’t wait to see him, he’s been gone for 2 weeks! Here’s to hoping my emotions start to stabilize...fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

Sore boobs and nausea were awful on Sunday, but feeling much better today,  just kinda bloated. I have this impending sense of doom about future morning sickness though
  • Options
I think it's really cute that I posted about not having nausea earlier this week because today is a regular old barf fest.

I think I'm going to have to switch to a lighter coffee drink. I couldn't finish my latte this morning because it made my stomach turn. I've definitely had some shortness of breathe and dizzy spells from standing up too fast.

@meggyme i'm with you! i asked for decaf at starbucks but i think they accidentally gave me caffeine. i went cold turkey two weeks ago the minute i got my BFP so to say i had the jitters at my desk today is an understatement.... and the stomach......... i think i'll start triple checking with my barista from now on.
  • Options
@indigoheightsblog I usually do a double shot latte (which is still below the 200mg limit) but I think I might go with a single americano or something lighter. I love my espresso machine too much to switch to decaf.

@meggyme i am such a coffee addict but i'm also super nervous until i hit 12 weeks and can breathe a little easier so i decided to try and go without caffeine at least for the first trimester. let's see how long that lasts......

@navete I had almost no symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy w/ my daughter - aside from being really tired at the beginning, and swollen ankles/feet at the end. Everyone ended up healthy. All pregnancies are different. I know it's easier said than done (I've had a lot of anxiety, especially over the lack of symptoms, both times.) but try not to worry!
  • Options
@meggyme I haven't been able to drink coffee in three days  :( and I have no desire to.

I was 6 weeks on Sunday and it's like everything hit me at once. I've been feeling slightly nauseous since Sunday but not enough to make me throw up (aside from Saturday night). I've also been extremely tired. It's so hard taking care of my 14 month old because all I want to do is lay down and all he wants to do is be chased.  :s
  • Options
@navete Lots of women are lucky and don't have many symptoms. With my first, I had some nausea (never threw up) and fatigue but it wasn't terrible and didn't last long. That was all I had for symptoms my entire pregnancy. Also, the nausea was very on and off so just remember that each day can be different and lack of symptoms isn't a reason to be afraid.
