Status (WTO/TWW/Benched/in process of testing or treatment): Waiting for AF.

    CD, CD/DPO (if applicable):
CD 44, solid BFNs and very little chance for a BFP since I am pretty sure I didn't ovulate this cycle.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?):
I am having a very unusually long cycle (CD 44 today) but plan to have the CD3 test at the first available opportunity!

    Rants/Raves:
Last time I had an abnormally long cycle was two years ago; usually I'm around 26-28 days. I'm getting worried mainly because of my age (39.5) and considering going in for tests for a cyst (other than the CD3 test, for which I have the paperwork...).

GTKY: How are you spending these hot summer weekends? Any plans for the 4th?
I just came back from a really long (12 day) business trip, 8 time zones away, and I have some friends in town today, so I hope to spend it catching up with family and friends and napping. It's also my husband's birthday today and I have to find him a good book or gift. We haven't planned anything for the 4th yet.

  • Status (WTO/TWW/Benched/in process of testing or treatment): WTO, will start using OPKs again today!

    CD, CD/DPO (if applicable):
    CD 13

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?):
Nothing other than OPKs and TI at the moment, but I have been reading about CoQ10 and thinking I might try it

    Rants/Raves:
Little bit of a rant and rave. My fiancé and I decided two weeks ago to get married in Aug (he needs surgery on an injury and it will save us about $3k if he’s on my insurance). It was supposed to be a picnic-in-the-park thing, no frills. It is now a full blown wedding. If I pull this off I think a career change to event coordinator may be in order!

GTKY: How are you spending these hot summer weekends? Any plans for the 4th?
we are spending these weekends prepping for the wedding. Our plans for the 4th are a first bday party for a friend’s kiddo....then hopefully to bed at a reasonable time haha.

GTKY: How are you spending these hot summer weekends? Any plans for the 4th?
Driving 4 hrs up to Iowa with DD for my lining check which is morning of the 5th but staying with a dear couple we met when living there who are like parents to us now and grilling out with their daughter and family. Simple is good right now as I try to chill out in prep for FET. Driving back home Saturday morning and Saturday night start the PIO shots which I’m nervous for due to the needle size and that they’re in the muscle.
  • @mrsnava82 Hope thyroid doctor appt goes well.
  • @Momifbysea woot!!! Can you believe it’s FET time already?! I am so excited for you!!

  • Thanks @PoeMasque! I can hardly believe this is happening either and that transfer is 1 week from yesterday. Update from my lining check yesterday is that hormone levels looked good and my lining is 11mm which they said was good also. So I start my PIO shots tomorrow evening, a little nervous but also excited.

Hope everyone is having a good week!!!
  • Thanks @Mack2342! Hope you’re having a great time on vacation.

@marijaa333 any word from AF yet? That’s a long cycle - I think I’d be running through tons of tests if it were me, good luck!

@PoeMasque I forgot to say before congrats on your upcoming wedding and I get how something supposedly small can get bigger/more formal quickly. It was a second marriage for me but not DH so I felt even though I would’ve been just fine eloping on an island there were family expectations, particularly on his side. So it ended up fancier than my first lol!

Okay bracing myself for first PIO tonight. Nurse drew 4 target circles on my butt at my appointment, how awkward! Driving home 4 hours to state I now live in since I was up here due to my insurance coverage before we moved and I started working remotely. The lengths we go for coverage!!! But totally worth it.
  • @Momifbysea i was suuuper nervous about PIO shots too (I have a low pain tolerance!) and they were a breeze. Even when my fiancé got nervous and injected it into my low back (waaay outside the circle!) it didn’t hurt at all. Are you doing injections yourself?

Ok I need to rant a bit. About a month ago, before my period had returned, my fiancé made the comment “we need to give [LO] a little brother or sister”, followed by a wink wink and BD. So Monday I got a positive OPK and proudly showed it to him.....his response, “oh great, we’re not going down THAT road again are we? I think we have our hands full enough”. So I asked if his comment was just to get laid before and he got mad (WTH).

I stopped doing the OPKs on Tuesday because I figured two positives in a row is it.....but I started having O pain this morning, tested again, and still positive?! Anyone else had 6+ days of positive OPKs? I’m thinking maybe it’s just wonky due to this being my first postpartum cycle??
