Welcome to the PGAL (Pregnant after loss) weekly thread!
**This is a general trigger warning that CP, miscarriage/spontaneous abortion, selective abortion due to medical complications, and/or stillbirth may be mentioned. There is no need to add specific trigger warnings in your posts, but you may if you choose.**
1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
4. Any appointment updates?
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"?
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 15+6, passed all milestones! 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Bloated/full/tired. Still don't "feel pregnant". 3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Somewhat better. I heard the heartbeat yesterday, so that was awesome. We told my brother last night, and will tell the rest of our families/friends this week. So that's stressful! 4. Any appointment updates? Heard a healthy HB of 156! I scheduled my A/S for next month, also! 5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): My boss and I discussed my schedule, after I'm back from mat leave, yesterday. I'm going to be losing one day, will work in the office 3 days, and will work from home one day. The new schedule is my idea, and will work best for our day care situation, but I am still bummed to lose a day. I'm grateful for my boss, job, and flexibility, though. Even though it sucks to take a pay cut. 6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Grilled cheese. It isn't anything super fancy, but I use Colby Jack cheese, and add red onion, tomato, and avocado to it. It is amazinggggg.
@Hollyyyyy losing a day does stink, but happy you have an understanding workplace! It makes ALL the difference!
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 13+3, passed them! 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? My energy is increasing, YAY!!! Otherwise, round ligament pain which seems to be stronger this time around. 3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Pretty good. I listen to the doppler every couple of days and it keeps the anxiety down. 4. Any appointment updates? No appts for another 3ish weeks. I think the next one will just be heartrate check. I do start seeing high risk Dr July 30th and they have very good ultrasound machines. They will scan me every visit. 5.
What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever
(Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): I am trying to schedule my sons birthday party and it just happens to be around the same time my sister is due. My sister, who is due in October with her first, is adamant that our mother will be in the hospital with her the WHOLE time. LOL. Along with her significant other.Either way, I told her too bad, too sad if you don't make the party. Obviously I wouldn't be mad at her. It was like a competition or maybe it's just my crazy pregnant self over-thinking. 6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Probably some kind of homemade mac and cheese. Yuummm!
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 15w 3D. Well past my milestone at this point,
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Feeling good. My worst symptom is not being able to eat a lot at once or I feel sick, and then being hungry right after. I’m dealing with that by just eating small meals most of the time and a snack or two at night. I still go to bed hungry most of the time though.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? My anxiety is good. I was able to find the heartbeat with an at home Doppler last week pretty quickly. I am rationing myself lest I get obsessive, so maybe I’ll do it again in a few days.
4. Any appointment updates? Not until next week.
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Everything’s going well here. I may try to pack a box or two during nap time to get ahead of things in this house. Let’s see where my motivation lies at that point...
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? This is boring, but I’d probably do meatballs and homemade gravy. I think I’ve gotten pretty good at it the past year, and it’s one of those meals I feel is important to be able to make well (comfort food). I wish I could say I would make homemade pasta to go with that, but that would be all liiiiiies.
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? RLP and I don't know if pregnancy makes allergies worse but I've been itchy all over, mainly my face, nose, and eyes! I took two benedryl last night and zyrtec this morning, so hopefully things will be better today.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Meh. I was completely freaked out that it took so long to find babies heartbeat last week and so that's put me into a bit of a panic. I'm trying to rely on feeling some movement, but now that I'm skiddish, I'm keep trying to explain away the movements as gas or something. PGAL brain is rough.
4. Any appointment updates? Anatomy scan is July 10th
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Nothing crazy. Just moving right along.
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Oh man. I am most definitely not a chef.
I am so glad your supervisor was able to work with you and create a schedule that will be better for you. I’m sure the loss of income sucks though. @Hollyyyyy 1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 13 weeks 2 days... I’ll be dancing tomorrow! I am well past my milestone! 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? I am having headaches and sciatic pain and considering seeing a chiropractor. Thankfully the nausea had passed for the most part! 3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? I felt so much better after hearing the heartbeat last Thursday. I had a great appointment and my doctor took his time and answered all of my questions for like 25 minutes. However, once I left the office, I kind of went back into crazy mode. He told me I can go ahead and stop the progesterone, no more lifting restrictions, and that I can use my acne meds again. I am so scared to do any of those three things. The progesterone makes me so tired and constipated and I think it would really help me to stop it, but if something happens because I stop it, how could I live with that? I did start lifting DS again and I am so glad because he keeps randomly coming up to me and saying , “You can lift me now, Mommy!” and I have not had any spotting, so I think that was the right call. I think I have complained on here about my acne issues before. Basically I have had it since junior high and have done every treatment both prescription and over-the-counter, with no luck. I I think I have complained on here about my acne issues before. Basically I have had it since junior high and have done every treatment both prescription and over-the-counter, with no luck. started using a Rodan and fields line last year and to my complete shock, it worked! Originally, I was told by a nurse practitioner not to use it because of the benzoyl peroxide and titanium dioxide, but my OB said it’s fine. I’m tired of the breakoits, but I don’t want to put the baby at risk for my own vanity. Sorry for the rant. 4. Any appointment updates? I heard the heartbeat last week at 154 and even heard a few kicks! I don’t go back until July 19th. 5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): I just love seeing DS so excited about the baby! Yesterday he took the onesie from my Amazon welcome box and put it up my shirt for the baby. So cute! 6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Probably chocolate chip cookies or southwest wraps.
@Hollyyyyy so nice that you have the option to work your schedule around your needs. Will you have the option to go back to 5 days if you want to? @Fruitcove7 for everyone's sake (mostly you mom's!) I hope you sister labors quickly @rosebud332 this whole eating small meals but constantly being hungry issue is a real PITA! But i keep trying to think, at least i'm not puking. @texas_t I feel you on explaining away what could be baby movements. I hope they become more definitive soon! @katy0990 happy last day of first tri!!
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 15+6! totally past milestones 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? pretty good, the dr told me to try to start sleeping on my side and it was a little difficult last night. I usually have no problem, but my hips were hurting and i was just uncomfortable. it might be time for a snoogle. lol.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? good! My PGAL anxiety is pretty low, but my holy shit we're actually probably having a baby anxiety is starting to ramp up. I have no idea what i'm doing!
4. Any appointment updates? Just a heartbeat check yesterday that went fine. A/S and fetal echo set for end of july and mid aug.
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Not a ton going on this week, but we're leaving friday for vacation (as much as you can call visiting your parents a vacation). But over the weekend we are going to a bluegrass festival so i'm pretty psyched about that! Plus we will be seeing all of my favorite aunts who I haven't seen since at least Christmas (and my real favorites, who I haven't seen since last july!). So I'm looking forward to friday! 6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Lol i dunno. I never know the answers to these GTKYs i come up with. Maybe eggplant parm? Maybe spring rolls and peanut sauce? I am an ok cook, but not a master chef
@katy0990 I’m sorry you’re feeling so much anxiety about the decisions you have to make. Do you think it would help if you just do one thing at a time, like lifting for a week or two, then off of progesterone, then acne medication? Maybe it would help you have less anxiety than doing it all at once.
@morgantu I think if you have hip pain the snoogle should help. It’s worth the investment to be able to sleep! I’m a back sleeper and never fully switched to sleeping on my side last time, but the snoogle still helped because I could arrange it so I was kind of sitting up while sleeping towards the end.
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 16 weeks today! That pesky ol' MC seems so far away.
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Creepily well. Turns out that I just have headaches at the beginning of the week, but not the end or weekends?! It doesn't make logical sense, but my Monday & Tuesday headaches have been recurring and annoying. Bloat is finally going down and I look less pregnant than I did two weeks ago - ack!
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? I'm just coasting on medium anxiety. I have an appt next week, but haven't heard the heartbeat since Kansas. Still can't feel the baby, so symptom declination isn't helping. Uuuggghhh. No cramping or bleeding, so...the odds are on my side, eh?
4. Any appointment updates? Meet the new OB next week!
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): We may not remodel the upstairs at all now! The main house's AC, furnace, and ducts are a serious cluster F. Looks like the repairs will run us between 20K and 30K, so looks like I'll be car shopping later too? Oy vey. We had no idea that all of the sh!tty contractors (& home inspectors!) in town worked on this house. At least we found a good AC guy.
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Oh, this is a tough one. I was once well known for making meals out of nearly-empty pantries, but haven't had that challenge in a while. Lately my skills have been Souperior Soup Conjuring, and making awesome cobblers the moment fruit walks in the door. For the sake of one answer, I'll stick with cobbler making. If any of you get to cobblerin' this week, make my favorite - peach with a pinch of cardamom. *drools*

Mmm...this GTKY question is making me hungry (I’m actually grateful to feel less nauseous this morning so far - but late afternoons are usually the worst time for me).
@katy0990@rosebud332 I am a back sleeper and just picked up a Snoogle a couple of weeks ago. I keep waking up kind of under it flat on my back . But last night DH tried to convince me to share it with him... Any tips or tricks to keep me on my side with it?
@echo-charlietango Sorry to hear about the house - it’s amazing the janky things people do with their houses. There have been very few home dopplers on CL here too (even in Los Angeles where we just have too darned many people everywhere) - I set one of those stalker-y email alerts for them, and went and picked it up after work the day I saw it listed. Then the next day I did the same thing with a used Snoo (super early, I know - but those are also few and far between and the price was a touch lower than others I’d seen - turns out the lady had somehow gotten it for FREE, but was of course happy tor take my money for it )
1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
14w5d - three whole weeks past my latest milestone!
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
The nausea seems to be limiting itself to the late afternoon/evenings lately, and dare I say I even feel slightly more awake today? Still with all the bloat though - I only have so many bloat-concealing clothes I can wear to work... I think I’ve gained two pounds though
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
Okay for now. I’m actually really glad that I got the home Doppler - trying to limit its use to a couple times a week. Secretly I think DH is glad we have it too, even though both he and my mother thought it was a bad idea (for its potential to cause anxiety).
4. Any appointment updates?
Just an EKG with my regular doc (requested by my OB) this Friday. 16 week appointment next Friday 7/6.
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I’m starting to doubt i can make it two more months without telling people . Will at least try to make it to 20 weeks? I guess we’ll see how it goes. Otherwise, started making dinner reservations for our Montreal babymoon - it may turn out to be a more gluttonous trip than originally planned.
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"?
Ooh, I’m so lucky that DH cooks ‘cause I don’t. I can more or less follow a recipe and nabbed a great Mac n’ cheese one from a Thanksgiving with friends from over a decade ago. I’ve done the same sauce for cauliflower and cheese and it was still quite tasty (though of course not as comforting).
Edit: ugh typos

1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 13w5d - way far from my milestones
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Feel pretty good. Still pretty tired and all the itchy. Also lots of boob pain.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Great since I had the NT scan Monday and an OB appointment today. Ask me next week.
4. Any appointment updates? Had an OB appointment today. She did a quick scan to see if the SCH is gone. It is and I am been taken off pelvic rest. Have a 16 week scan on July 25th. Seems like forever away. 5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Not much. I am starting to want to baby prep because I really do think he is going to join the family!
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Masterchef would pay me not to come on the show.
@artemis618 I don’t have the problem with DH trying to take it. He actually hates how much space it takes up, and if it drips over to his side of the bed he makes sure to move it on over. I wrap my legs around mine and use my regular pillow so I have a hard time getting out of it, even to go to the bathroom. That may help.
@echo-charlietango I’m sorry about all the house expenses. Home ownership can be so frustrating!
@fruitcove7 Oh man, I am jealous of your energy boost. I still feel like I need daily naps!
@rosebud332 Can you share your meatball recipe? I have only made them from scratch once, and it was a bust (thanks, Pinterest).
@katy0990 Ohhh definitely go see a chiropractor. I know there are a lot of mixed opinions on them, but mine has been an absolute life saver!
@morgantu It’s hard to say at this point if I will have the option of going back to 5 days. We are going to be hiring two new people in the next few months, and since we are creating brand positions for them, they will be somewhat designed to relieve me of some of my responsibilities. For example, I won’t be in on Friday’s anymore, and those are usually pretty heavy marketing days for me (preparing for weekend open-houses, creating/printing flyers, etc.). So whoever we bring on will need to do that, since I won’t be around. So me coming back would take away part of their job Enjoy your vacation, and the festival!
@echo-charlietango Did you buy the new house? If so, none of that came up on an inspection?! Yikes!! Sorry you're dealing with that.
@katy0990 What are the specific products you use from Rodan and Fields? My acne has been out of control since getting pregnant and I'm about to lose my mind.
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Ok, lots of RLP, congested at night, sciatica.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Medium. I worked a food tent outdoors with my hubby for 9hrs on Sat. Since it was a long rough day, I checked with the doppler when I got home & couldn't find a HB. I'd been finding it super easy/quick for almost 2 weeks. Called hubby bawling. Checked again in 20min & thought I heard it faintly for a couple seconds. Decided to sleep & check in the morning. Did & found her right away.
I mostly swing between "I could still have to update everyone on my loss at anytime" & "holy cow, there's really a little girl coming home to this house".
4. Any appointment updates? Anatomy scan was supposed to be next TR but we'll be oot for 2 weeks. I was surprised, but they let me move it to tomorrow, yay!
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): tNeed to get this house clean & everything packed n ready to go on vacation this weekend. Also need new tires before I go. Unmotivated to complete any of these tasks...
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Not sure, but one of my favorite things to make for a bit has been a Venezuelan chicken with green sauce & pickled red onion. Maybe that, either as a taco or over yellow rice.
@katy0990 Sort of? I’ve been trying the variation where the Snoogle sort of spoons me, so I kind of lay “inside” of it, with the tail end between my knees/legs coming from the back (if that makes any sense). So generally when I try to roll back into it it keeps me at least partly on my side, but the last couple of mornings I’ve just woken up on my back surrounded by it. Will have to keep experimenting.

@artemis618 So, like I said I actually ended up using it to sleep sitting up on my back, so no advice as to sleeping with it on your side. The reason I can’t sleep on my side all night is actually because i have bad knees and it hurts them, and the snoogle made that worse somehow. If you get desperate like me and have to sleep on your back eventually, on the side of the packaging it shows different ways to curl it up and there was one that kind of looked like a donut, and that’s how I slept with a pillow on top.
@Hollyyyyy I will share, but it’s my moms recipe and there are no measurements involved, lol. I just eyeball it but I will try to explain how I do it.
—1&1/2 lb-ish of meatloaf mix (ground beef, pork, and veal in one package). If that’s not a thing outside of my general area or you don’t like to use veal just ground beef will work but it might not come out as moist. —1 egg —Garlic powder —grated Parmesan cheese (like the not fresh stuff in the plastic container at the store) —salt&pepper —Dried parsley —4 slices of white bread
Completely wet the bread in water and wring it out and put it in a bowl with the meat along with the egg. Put a good amount of cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and parsley, basically covering the top of your meat mixture. Mix everything together with your hands so the bread and everything is mixed well together. Brown the meatballs in vegetable oil. Put the meatballs in your sauce for about an hour to finish cooking.
@rosebud332 Thanks- that sounds amazing I've heard of using bread crumbs in like meatloaf before but never slices of bread. Sounds like something I can make!
@katy0990 I've been having sciatic issue this past week too. I primary blame it on my job (moving patients to and from medic stretchers and CT tables) but I did have mild sciatica with my daughter. I might actually consider a chiropractor if it progresses through this pregnancy!
@morgantu definitely get a snoogke or something like it. I waited with my DD until I was 35 weeks and I regretted not having it sooner! I'm a stomach sleeper too and I have been waking up in my stomach. I feel like my snoogle helps me side sleep kinda on my stomach but not having all my oressupr on my belly.
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 13+6 Hello Second Tri! 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Feeling good, energy is back for the most part and starting to get my appetite back. 3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? I thought I was feeling good, but when I sit back and think about it I have to admit I Doppler myself at home every morning, partly because I need to hear a heartbeat and also because my 2 year old asks to hear it now. I also (TMI?) still check after everytime I wipe to make sure there's no blood. Thankfully there hasn't been. 4. Any appointment updates? I have an appointment Monday, just a routine check. My OB adjusted my due date so I'm going at 14+4 instead of in week 16 but they said it's fine. 5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): I'm finally weaning my daughter. She will be 2 in August. I never thought I'd breastfeed until 2, 1 year was my goal but here we are! I want a good bit of time between nursing DD and the new babe so that DD doesn't get any ideas about tandem nursing. It's just not for me! So pregnancy hormones + weaning = an emotional mommy this week! 6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? Probably some sort of taco
@katy0990, @rosebud332, @gingersnap-mama I borrowed a non snoogle brand pillow from a friend to see if it's worth the money. I'm looking forward to trying it out tonight!
@rosebud332 I slept sitting up on a pregnancy pillow, too. I had severe carpal tunnel with my first plus awful reflux, so that's the only way I didn't wake up completely numb and choking on bile glamorous
@echo-charlietango sorry to hear about all of those expensive repairs. Ugh. Maybe you can renovate later?
@katy0990 +1 for seeing a chiropractor. I love my chiropractor. Unfortunately she’s been on maternity leave for months and I don’t trust anyone but her.
1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 13 weeks 6 days— Can it be true that I’m in the second tri?
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Still nauseous (maybe a little less) and tired. I haven’t been sleeping well in the last few days. Its strange, that was a symptom early on but went away so definitely not happy that its back… I’ve also been having cramps which are really messing with my head.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? I was feeling ok. We got good NIPS results early this week. But the cramping has me anxious. I went ahead and ordered a doppler. DH wants to start telling people and I just can’t.
4. Any appointment updates? Nothing for a couple weeks.
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): I’ve been so cranky. This is my last week of work before being off for a month so trying to get a lot done and feeling crappy and anxious. I’m annoyed with DH. I think I need to tell my boss before being out for a month. We’re renovating our bathroom and just found out that the tile we loved isn’t available. My little sister's bachelorette is this weekend and I really don't want to go...how do you hide not drinking at a bachelorette? I have to go but I'm dreading it. All in all I just want to snap myself out of this funk but can't seem to do it
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"? I like to make my mom’s chicken enchiladas, or an approximation/variation of my mom's enchiladas.
@fernsy If not the DD thing, can you claim to be on some sort of prescription med that doesn’t mix well with alcohol? I doubt anyone would want to know specifics, but I’ve learned my lesson with some antibiotics and I hear metrogel does not mix well, as examples. Hope you feel better soon.

Re: PGAL Check in w/o 6/27
15+6, passed all milestones!
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
Bloated/full/tired. Still don't "feel pregnant".
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
Somewhat better. I heard the heartbeat yesterday, so that was awesome. We told my brother last night, and will tell the rest of our families/friends this week. So that's stressful!
4. Any appointment updates?
Heard a healthy HB of 156! I scheduled my A/S for next month, also!
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
My boss and I discussed my schedule, after I'm back from mat leave, yesterday.
Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I am trying to schedule my sons birthday party and it just happens to be around the same time my sister is due. My sister, who is due in October with her first, is adamant that our mother will be in the hospital with her the WHOLE time. LOL. Along with her significant other. Either way, I told her too bad, too sad if you don't make the party. Obviously I wouldn't be mad at her. It was like a competition or maybe it's just my crazy pregnant self over-thinking.
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"?
Probably some kind of homemade mac and cheese. Yuummm!
Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
Everything’s going well here.

Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I just love seeing DS so excited about the baby! Yesterday he took the onesie from my Amazon welcome box and put it up my shirt for the baby. So cute!
6. GTKY: If you were a contestant on masterchef, what would you cook as your "signature dish"?
Probably chocolate chip cookies or southwest wraps.
@Fruitcove7 for everyone's sake (mostly you mom's!) I hope you sister labors quickly
@rosebud332 this whole eating small meals but constantly being hungry issue is a real PITA! But i keep trying to think, at least i'm not puking.
@texas_t I feel you on explaining away what could be baby movements. I hope they become more definitive soon!
@katy0990 happy last day of first tri!!
1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
15+6! totally past milestones
Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
Not a ton going on this week, but we're leaving friday for vacation (as much as you can call visiting your parents a vacation).
Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
We may not remodel the upstairs at all now!
*drools*

@katy0990 @rosebud332 I am a back sleeper and just picked up a Snoogle a couple of weeks ago.

Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
tNeed to get this house clean & everything packed n ready to go on vacation this weekend.
@mommythlegend That is awesome that they moved it to tomorrow!

—1&1/2 lb-ish of meatloaf mix (ground beef, pork, and veal in one package). If that’s not a thing outside of my general area or you don’t like to use veal just ground beef will work but it might not come out as moist.
—1 egg
—Garlic powder
—grated Parmesan cheese (like the not fresh stuff in the plastic container at the store)
—salt&pepper
—Dried parsley
—4 slices of white bread
Completely wet the bread in water and wring it out and put it in a bowl with the meat along with the egg. Put a good amount of cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and parsley, basically covering the top of your meat mixture. Mix everything together with your hands so the bread and everything is mixed well together. Brown the meatballs in vegetable oil. Put the meatballs in your sauce for about an hour to finish cooking.
Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I'm finally weaning my daughter.

Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I’ve been so cranky.

I like to make my mom’s chicken enchiladas, or an approximation/variation of my mom's enchiladas.
