Had my NT scan yesterday, and the tech gave us an early guess that baby is a BOY! She said they're 95% accurate and she's never been wrong after 12 weeks. I'm thrilled, but I was kind of hoping for a sister for DD. I also have a bunch of cute clothes that DD barely wore (and a million bows she refused to wear) I was hoping to use again for next baby but oh well We're not prepping at all until we get the confirmation at the AS, but now I get to dream about all the cute baby boy outfits and styles.
Also...and this is probably laughable, but a part of me is nervous to have a boy! I KNOW how to take care of a baby girl. Not that they're much different, of course, but I know vaginal care. I've heard boys are easier in terms of cleanliness with diapers, but then you also have to worry about getting peed on. So far I've made it 17 months and I've never been peed on.
I wasn’t sure I felt DD until 18 weeks last time, I also had an anterior placenta, not sure if that affected it. I didn’t think she was that active (although I had nothing to compare it to) but then every time I had an NST they would remark about how she was always SO active, lol. I would think she was sleeping or resting and they would say she was active so I guess I didn’t always notice her moving.
