Hello 7w1d. My symptoms have included sore breasts, exhaustion, and the last week horrible diarrhea, lower abdominal cramping and low back pain. Pregnancy pillow and heating pad arrived today
@notthecheat "formula 10.0.6" brand! (Available at Ulta) Any and all masks. They're cheap, too! I like the detox mud mask the most.
Thank you all for the support with the spotting earlier this week. Since my EDD got knocked forward quite significantly (from 2/4 to 2/16!!!), I'm now certain it was some old implantation bleeding. I had more spotting today. Small amount. Thinking it's from the US. No cramping! Hallelujah!
I feel like I'm reading my own posts with these food aversions you're all sharing. IM STARVING! And nothing sounds good and I'm SO SICK of dry heaving.
8+1 day now. Intense hunger in the morning is my only consistent symptom so I’m definitely not complaining. This pregnancy has been a total 180 from both my daughters pregnancies. Will be interesting to see if it’s a third girl. I don’t care either way but my daughters pregnancies were very very similar and this one is nothing at all like theirs.
Anyone else find they get sicker in the more pregnancies they have? With DD I was sick a few times. DS was about the same. This baby, I feel like death. Already having crazy amounts of MS, vomiting, diarrhea. Didn’t know if that was a thing to get sick in subsequent pregnancies. I’m also slightly paranoid because my OB made a comment that she didn’t think there was another baby in there. And I swear I can see it.
This definitely happened to my mom. I was her first and she was so sick. #2 was about the same, but it was a boy so she figured that may have "cancelled out" the extra sickness she would've had with another girl. #3, my sister, ran her into the ground. HG with TPN and hospital admissions.
This one is #2 for me and too early to tell yet. I got hit out of nowhere in week 7 with #1, DD. Currently I'm on week 6, and lots of nausea but no vomiting yet. So maybe it's a boy? Or I'm just a lucky SOB
My boobs... good lord they hurt. I unearthed my pregnancy pillow from the basement the other day and thought "I won't need this for awhile". WRONG. I'll be lugging that puppy up tonight so I can get myself into a semi sort of comfortable position (I'm a belly sleeper).
I tried searching the symptoms threads and haven’t seen anyone mention it yet - eczema. I have mild eczema on my hands that flares up during allergy season and when I’m super stressed. I’ve had a flare up for about 3 weeks now (8+2) and it’s super annoying to have my hands burn. I’m also dying of allergies/pregnancy nasal drip so it could all be related.
@PizzaMonster3 - I have a number of skin issues that flare up. My skin is hyper sensitive (and more so while pregnant) and my psoriasis flares up. Super fun.
Anyone else have symptoms that come and go? Other than general fatigue which seems to want to stick around. I'm 6w4d today and I'm counting my blessings that I haven't experienced any MS yet but it also leaves me with very few "symptoms". This makes me very paranoid about whether or not all is well. First fam. Dr visit is tomorrow with hopefully an ultrasound. Fingers crossed we hear a little heartbeat from the sweet pea.
@kayjay44 ugh that sucks. Does anything help? Last pregnancy I got PUPPPS at 8mo and shingles at 7.5mo. If this eczema is popping up now I’m REALLYYYY looking forward to 3rd tri
iulishor - totally normal for symptoms come and go - still sucks though.
@PizzaMonster3 - Salicylic acid face wash and topical hydrocortisone (I also have a prescription strength topical steroid I can use if it's really bad). I didn't get PUPPS but got super itchy hands and feet while pregnant for no reason (not my liver, which is the usual cause). Dove Wintercare body wash is my winter staple because I get so dry and itchy when pregnant in the winter.
OH MY GOD MY NIPS. I was folding my kids laundry today and barely brushed a plastic hanger against my boob (I was wearing a T-shirt and sports bra) and silent screamed for a good 3 minutes.
@iulishor everything I've read has told me it's entirely normal and now, after a couple of symptoms/no symptoms cycles, I'm enjoying the times when I'm not nauseous to get stuff done.
7 weeks today and my symptoms are unrelenting hunger and fatigue. I'm honestly eating a substantial snack every hour and I'm quickly running out of available appealing food while at work.

SO BAD. I have to cover mine when I shower because even the water hurts.
@becks_726 I have the same issue. I’m hungry all the time yet there is less and less appealing stuff to eat thanks to my increasing food aversions. Ughhhh. Hunger is annoying.
I’m so tired. I nap daily (thank goodness for DD being a decent napper) and I have never been a napper. I also cannot open my eyes in my morning when DD wakes me up. I feel like I can never get enough sleep.
The bad: My boobs hurt most of the time right now... I often get nauseous but never vomit... and I have an intense craving for milk. I can drink it all day. All I ever want is milk and honey nut cheerios. Also I'm pretty upset that my boobs are growing unevenly. The left is significantly bigger than the right. Oh and I'm weepy. Everything makes me cry. Everything.
The good: every day is a good hair day right now. My skin is looking really good. I can act like a total nut job and my fiancee has been nothing but sympathetic and supportive.
Tender breasts, constantly hungry, and a new one today— I woke up feeling so sore everywhere like I ran a marathon or something! It feels like my abs, arms, legs, and lower back muscles have been through an intense workout... but they haven’t. I’m 6w today. Anyone else experience anything like this before?!
So this is a new one - I didn’t realize that pregnancy can dry out your eyes and that, coupled with dry-eye, contact wearers are at an increased risk of developing my newest medical issue: corneal ulcer! It’s unpleasant, to say the least.
New one for me: gagging while brushing my teeth, especially the molars. Blech! I think I'll have to postpone my upcoming dentist appt so that I don't puke on them...
We’re driving 12 hours to vacation next Friday and I’m terrified because of the carsickness I’ve been getting! Anybody have any tips? I was thinking of trying those sea bands but not holding my breath on that! I tried to take a half of a unisom the other day and it made me a zombie!!
@nursemom913 I second the Unisom and B6. Way more reliable than Seabands, and if you're sleeping then at least you're not puking, eh? You could also try having frequent small meals. That worked well for me when I was in a 7-hour car ride last weekend. Good luck!
My eyes and mouth are both very dry. I also noticed my hands were dry and cracked last night (might be from washing my hands after using the bathroom every 30 minutes). Meanwhile I have enough grease on my face to fry an egg. At least I am not feeling ill like you other poor ladies.
I have been sicker this time than ever before. It has been so hard to get anything done. BUT, I was adjusted by my chiropractor yesterday and feel soooo much better. I read that it helped with MS but was really skeptical. I’m definitely a believer now.
I had my us today after 5 days of spotting. This morning it got significantly heavier, though not "soak a pad in an hour" level. I went into that us expecting bad news and came out with basically no news. Embryo showing development consistent with 5 weeks gestation, and I figured myself at 8 weeks. So either my dates are way off, or somethings wrong and time will tell. So I'm sitting tight, not having sex, and waiting for Monday when my regular midwife is back in the office. When I went to open my fertility tracking app to double check my dates, I realized I deleted it a week ago. For some reason I thought that since I'm pregnant now, I don't need this app anymore! Goodbye all my records for the past 18 months...

Crazy, right? I had to stop wearing contacts all together after my second. My eyes just couldn’t take them anymore. So bizarre.
RLP is no joke - I either forgot how bad it really is or it’s much worse this time around.
I seriously didn’t think it started this early. It definitely didn’t with my first. I can’t cough or roll over or move basically without a shooting pain. It’s terrible
@loxi so sorry you are going through this with so much uncertainty. *creepy internet hugs*

@BourbonBiscuits mine are so painful as well! I had a kiddo crawling all over me the other day and every movement he made was so painful!

I ovulated super late FWIW (which never happens but I had to have an upper and lower endoscopy and that threw everything off).
