@purpleteacher82 Enjoy your summer! I am going through the wedding/honeymoon crazies this year. I'm glad you have time to relax even with the planning for next year.
@JLaVO888 You asked for it There is a hidden theme of general nerdity and Firefly, the awesome and short-lived space cowboy show that was on Fox. Our wedding bands are etched with the symbol from the show that means serenity and on the inside it says 'You can't take the sky from me'. We are having bowls of apples and strawberries everywhere. There will be green, white and red paper lanterns which are the colours on Kaylee's parasol. Of course, if you don't know the show this means nothing Our officiant has worked in references from Batman (MF) and from Wonder Woman (me). There will be board games and nerf gun fights as well. I am going to try and find some nerdy pinatas today.
God willing it is outside. The one thing I can't control (weather) is the one thing I worry about the most. We have space inside, but I wanna be outside
I wanted an outside wedding but I also wanted a fall wedding and DH is catholic so we did inside. FX for great weather. I’m sure you’ve already said but when is it?
Eeeekkkk exciting!! Do you have a picture of your dress? I feel like you may have just shared it but now I can’t remeber becuase my mind stinks sometimes.
I'm creeping WTO today because I'm procrastinating at work and also half following @meri-mac around for wedding details, lol. I just got some serious goosebumps when you mentioned the Firefly references! Ahh! That sounds SO amazing. I can't wait to tell my bff, she was the one that got me into Serenity/Firefly in the first place.
TTC History:

@meri-mac THAT DRESS IS AMAZING!!!! Add me to the Firefly Fanatic club. This was the first series DH introduced me. And it was like week two of dating I think. We watched this series that week. A lot of fond memories with that show, we quote it rather often in our house.
@nitnat007 When babies were smaller the big hens would have most likely have killed them. Now their older they can defend themselves better and I think it helps that there are 6 babies that group together and only 4 older hens who at times can be real bitches lol
@Stargazer1lily Not looking forward to the day I have to integrate new young hens to my group. They’re good girls but then again they’re chickens all the same
R/R: So we spent all weekend demolishing the new house. It is going to look wonderful when it’s done, but it’s trashed right now and everything in my body hurts.
CS/Q: Pretty sure that Saturday was O day, but FF hasn’t given me crosshairs yet. I got a positive OPK that morning and pretty strong ovulation pain that day. OPK was negative Sunday morning. Thoughts?
@Stargazer1lily How exciting that the baby chickies are integrating! I hope it goes well.
@meri-mac I’m so sorry that AF tricked you, but at least you don’t have to worry about it for the wedding. That’s a big plus. And maybe you will get lucky and make a honeymoon baby
Sorry to post and ghost today, time got away from me. It's almost 5 here! How did that happen?
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: Still waiting for AF to GTFO. I have acupuncture on CD 17, B complex, temping and charting in FF, sex appointments are all on the calendar for this month ✔, I think I have wondfo OPKs to try this month somewhere in one of the Amazon boxes I need to open.
R/R: Our kitchen faucet, which we only installed 4 years ago, crapped out yesterday. My parents have the same one and my dad showed us how to fix it when we were at their house yesterday, but the dang thing is so corroded that the part we needed to remove is pretty much calcified on. Yes, we soaked it with vinegar. Didn't help. We damaged the stupid thing trying to pry the part off. So we ordered a new faucet. There was a $225 expenditure I wasn't expecting. UGH.
CS/Q: Why can't everything just work perfectly forever and ever. (I'm talking to you, baby making organs. And kitchen faucets.)
@general_organa ugh! Sorry about the unexpected repair needed. The joys of home-ownership, eh? I lol’d at the sex appointments- do you have a code word/phrase in case someone happens to see?
@meri-mac I loove the dress!! Such an exciting time
@TJtheGoat Yay for home reno! We have a contractor coming to look at our kitchen today so we can get an estimate. We'd do the reno ourselves and we've never done anything like that. EEK! At least this stuff keeps our mind off TTC!
@general_organa I also put our sex appointments on my computer calendar haha! I just simply put "BD" We gotta keep up with it somehow right!?
