Had a day out yesterday with DH, then had a fire with some friends at the house! Today we got some cabinets my dad built put up in the kitchen to empty out the "pantry" so that we can bring up the wash and dryer eventually out of the basement. Slow but it's progress!!
This week we have to register DHs new car because we're 8 days over that, clear out the last of our stuff from the basement into the camper where DH and I will be temporarily living while concrete is cut up and piping is put down to reroute stuff into one area roomed off. So excited for this project to be done in a month or two!!
Mine was kinda lame. TBall yesterday and some random shopping. Then a 3 hour nap. Then Gilmore Girls marathon. Today more random shopping and a 2.5 hour nap. I don't know why I've been so exhausted.
I did get some chores accomplished, laundry and dishes. It rained most of the weekend so I didn't get to my garden.
SS is done with school Wednesday. DH will be home tonight finally. Other than that, no real plans.
We had another open house both days and had some great traction through. Hopefully we get an offer soon! Im sick of keeping the place spotless!
We did our registry and mattress shopping Saturday then a nice dinner out at a new restaurant where we couldn't decide what to order so we ordered way too much and I passed out at 8pm. Today took our puppy to the beach for some fun. Good weekend overall!
Me 33 DH 41 TTC since 2016 Due: October 12, 2018 Location: Ontario, Canada
My kid’s daycare has a free babysitting night every 6-8 weeks and we took advantage and Dh and I checked out a local German festival while dd had a pizza party at school. It was a win win and nice to have adult conversation for once. Today was a different story but I’m choosing to move on
I got all my laundry done yesterday, along with getting caught up on some stuff I had promised people. Last night I got to babysit a kitten. Yay! (For those who saw the post- kitten found a forever home today.)
Today I got up too freaking early and went out to play with my camera. I had fun, but didn’t have time for post processes- probably Tuesday? Hung out with friends this afternoon and then had some special time with a partner this evening. It was lovely all around.
Went yard saling with my BFF yesterday and got a few baby clothes for the little lady. Then I came home and completely cleaned, dusted and vacuumed my bedroom, which was long over due.
Today i went through DS’s old clothes from NB-12 months. I separated them in to keep, sell, donate and use for baby girl piles.
We went and check out our closest toys r us and found a nice crib at a greatgreat price! Did some more registering for little stuff at buy buy baby. H Worked Saturday and had a low key day today and watched TV and movies. During the movie I felt the kid move from the outside! Only happened once so dh didn't get to feel it. Happened to pull up my shirt later when I felt movement and I saw the belly move!! So awesome! DH didn't see it but hopefully that means soon! I am 23w today and I have an anterior placenta. Also FTM.
DH flew home on Friday and his parents drove up for the weekend. We went to the Nationals game and got home pretty late Friday night.
We slept in a bit on Saturday then DH and his dad worked on some pretty major and ridiculously labor intensive house projects. I took MIL with me to run errands and we thoroughly cleaned the house. It’s sparkling clean!
Today I used our new spot bot to clean the upholstery of the dining room chairs, did a ton of laundry, and organized/ unpacked a few boxes. DH and his dad wrapped up the house projects then his folks left and DH left on business travel again.
Looking forward to Wednesday when DH and I fly out for a mini vacay and long weekend!

Thank god I found another human who uses the verb “yard sale-ing”. I feel like it’s SUPER regional. Also I used “tag sale” growing up, which people think is weird. I guess garage sale is most popular, then yard sale?
@HoosOnFirst - I use yard sale and garage sale interchangeably, and both as verbs. I thought tag sale was a British term, but I recognize it if I encounter it...
*face-palm* I saw yard sailing and was like huh, wonder how they do that. Never once thinking of a yard/rummage/garage sale!! Evening brain is much slower than morning brain!
My cousin got married on Saturday! It was a nice small wedding with mostly family, and we had a great evening out.
DS had a terrible allergic reaction to amoxicillin this weekend. Had us pretty scared. Luckily no swelling or trouble breathing, but a really terrible rash that spread EVERYWHERE. Poor little guy. I was also allergic to amoxicillin as a kid, so I guess my genes are to blame (or so DH says!)
I worked Saturday and yesterday I was pretty tired so not much. I managed to do a little grocery shopping and cook dinner. I got two loads of laundry done, which is only a tiny dent in what we have, and just relaxed the rest of the day.
As far as this week there are no real plans. We need to sit down and make a list of what is left to do and what we still need to get and start knocking things out.

Wow I feel super lazy compared to all of you! Friday night we did a very small reveal party with our family and since we found out we are having a boy we went to BRU on Saturday to get a few outfits. DH and FIL worked on the baby’s room Saturday and Sunday, and I tried to catch up on homework but mostly laid around, napped, and watched Hulu.
