Coincidentally I go here now. But finally a place to belong without *lurking * Today, what I assume to be AF finally getting here after almost 6 weeks. I haven't been ovulating until cd 19 so it'll end up being in the week of our family vacation. That's good, we'll all be having fun and totally unplugged.
Sorry @rowedking6. AF is always a bummer but finally knowing where you belong is a nice feeling. A family vacation is a great way to avoid the stress and just unwind, got big plans?
@prpl11butterfly we go to a faith based family camp! I love it, only a couple of hours away yet in the middle of nowhere! I can horseback ride, repel/zip line, eat my 3 squares or sit in a hammock and do nothing at all! Thanks for asking!
finally off the bench and now waiting for ovulation! Started spotting and cramping today after triggering a cycle with progesterone, so day one will officially be tomorrow. Excited to finally be able to do something!
@rowedking6 I love those kings of vacations, where you can do lots of activities, but you can also do nothing without feeling guilty about it!
@sagems10 hurray for being off the bench! FX it doesn’t take long for you!
@Kath525 hope the clomid increase does the trick!!
CD 17 and still no +opk...getting discouraged this cycle must be a dud...just looking forward to AF now. On the up side my specialist ok’d me to start on the femara again right away next cycle so even more to look forward to!
@Kath525 thank you! It did last time, only took 3 cycles on it. I’m being probably way too optimistic and setting myself up for a big let down...sigh...
@justarius thank you! I'm starting femara tomorrow! I feel the same way, we got pg on my second femara cycle with just timed intercourse so I feel like my expectations are pretty high also. And if we end up having to move to iui after a few months ill be super disappointed. But, trying to be optimistic!
We had our learning appointment yesterday and picked up the patches. Just in time, because I got a +opk this morning, which is weird because I usually get them in the afternoon, and not as early as CD13! Now I have to wait for them to call me back and give me the go ahead to start the patch. So much waiting! We learned about the three different needles I'll have to take once AF shows up; are is premeasured in a pen, which is nice, but the other two require mixing and measuring. I'm glad my husband was there because it was a lot of info to take in. The nurse had my do a practice injection on my stomach; it wasn't too bad, but I'm guessing I'll feel it more when it actually has drugs in it. Such an odd feeling to gear yourself up to stabbing yourself!
@bakerstreetboys that’s so exciting that you are finally getting started! I’ve done those injections in the past and I agree it wasn’t bad, I was expecting way worse. Keep us updated!
@bakerstreetboys, best of luck in this new experience! It can be overwhelming, I understand you're info overload. ..I'm sure your RE wouldn't mind calls at any time you're questioning something!
Afm, cd4...yawn. Got my organic pregnancy/red raspberry leaf tea in the mail today. Cuz ya know, it's something I can do for myself that'll fix everything! :S Eh, I figured it at the very least may heal things after the d&c.
@prpl11butterfly FX your O comes soon! I think I’m definitely out of luck suddenly spotting for two days again now grrrr
@sagems10 good luck with femara! FX it works well for you again! I’m debating on just starting the femara tomorrow if it turns out to be day 3 of bleeding...it’s just so hard to know with all this spotting what’s my period and what isn’t. My specialist made it sound like the femara would help regulate me, so maybe I have the right idea? I don’t know
@bakerstreetboys FX the whole process goes smoothly and all it takes is this one time for you!!
And the wait continues... pretty sure O was yesterday but my temp didn't spike like usual. Just kind of popped a hair above "usual". I'm really annoyed.
@prpl11butterfly I'm right there with you :I Day two of positive OPK and no temp spike. Really need a t-shirt that says "Grumpy and waiting to O". Or as my friend suggested "Ask me if I'm pregnant and I'll cut you". Are you using OPKs? I hope you get a temp spike tomorrow!
@bakerstreetboys I am. Yesterday was my second day of + and it was definitely more so then the day before. FX we both spike tomorrow. And then again in 7 to 10 days
Well I’m restarting here in WTO - second period within 3weeks for me! Calling it CD 3 and starting femara today, hoping that it’ll help regulate whatever craziness my hormones are doing >.<
It’s been a couple months of benchwarming after surgery, but I think I’m off now! CD1 as of today, u/s on Monday and then I probably start FSH for my first IUI cycle.
I was surprised how quickly af showed up after stopping oral progesterone- I took my last pills yesterday and had some spotting and crazy nausea, then she showed up today. I thought there was going to be a couple days’ wait in between. Guess my body is ready to get the party started?
Low OPK last night but peak this morning. I guess my body will be off this month as it’s first month off hormones. Usually I would get a high a couple of days before a peak. Oh well BD tonight
Officially CD 1 today. It was weird, I spotted for two days later last week and then nothing for two days. full flow this morning. I knew it would be funky this cycle, but I usually spot until flow starts, so this was weirder than usual!
Well I had peak OPKs Saturday and Sunday, a low one on Monday but no still no temp spike so I don’t believe I Od. I took an OPK this morning and it was low.
Finished femara Sunday night! I had a lot of side effects, but finally starting to feel normal again, which is great! Cd10 today, will start opk's. Feels good to be doing something again!
@sagems10 congrats on being done the femara! I finished mine on Monday night I don’t find much side effects on it - do you mind if I ask what you experience? I know 100% what you mean I feel the same, it feels great Doing something again!
@justarius I think I might just be sensitive to medications in general? The first round of femara I did fine, but the second round and this round were pretty rough. The biggest side effects for me were nausea, feeling light headed and dizzy, and being completely exhausted. And those were pretty constant. I'd also get random hot flashes and a couple episodes of heart palpitations. Oh and diarrhea... So it's definitely nice to be done! I'm glad you didn't have a hard time on it!
@sagems10 oh wow that’s crazy! Sorry it affects you so much! I do get hot flashes now that you mention it, I just never really put it together before and it definitely messes with my mood. I guess it’s just cuz when I take the progesterone to start my period That really messes with me. It makes me exhausted so I never really blamed the femara for any of it since the progesterone was so much worse.
CD 14. No ovulation. Again. Not even a high reading on my O tests. I had to cancel my appointment with my dr last week so I don't see her until the 16th. Stupid clomid. Stupid body. Stupid hopes. Gonna talk about trying fermara, if i can get my husband on board, I guess. This sucks.
Re: June WTO
NM I found it! Thank you!!

@justarius and @prpl11butterfy I hope you get your O soon. So frustrating to wait. Mine varies between CD13 and CD19 now, very annoying!
@catlady2015 thank you! It's a good feeling!
