Can I delay my next cycle with progesterone suppositories?

I’m prescribed Endometrin suppositories after O. Next month I need to come in for CD10/11 monitoring before my IUI, but I was going to Be out of state during that day next month- at least when I think it’ll fall! My question is, can I delay next month’s ovulation by taking the progesterone suppositories a few days past 14dpo this month, or will I just O on an earlier cycle day next month if I do that?

If progesterone prevents you from getting your period, then yes that's possible but not every woman misses their period while on progesterone. It will just depend on the dosage and your body. 

I think I understand what your worry is. You think that you need to take progesterone beyond 14dpo because there will still be a chance you are pregnant if you get a bfn on 14dpo, and your concern is that you'll cause something bad to happen if you do get pregnant. On top of that, you're concerned if you keep taking it past the 14dpo to avoid the possibility of the other concern, then you will miss your window and get confused if you ovulate earlier because the progesterone lengthened your cycle?

If I have that right, don't worry about any of this. It will be okay. Do you have a basal body thermometer? Why were you prescribed progesterone?

Thanks so much- actually my worry is just that CD10 of my next cycle will come while I’m still out of state and unable to do my monitoring before IUI. I was prescribed progesterone bc my 7dpo level was 10
