@mandapanda1421 some ladies don't get a positive til the day of beta but honestly I feel that with a frer 9dpt should show a fairly accurate result. For me I honestly can't walk into a beta without having some sort of heads up. But other ladies are quite the opposite and feel like hpt stresses them out too much. Whatever you choose, good luck to you!

@kristimh80 it sucks that you didn't get any answers I do hope your RE switches things up a bit. My RE increased the dosage of doxycycline and medrol to twice a day for 5 days after transfer instead of once a day. He also added baby aspirin to my protocol. There's no harm in adding these. Of course, it could all just be luck, who knows.

@linxyz Good luck today!! I'm excited for you!!! I hope I see the RE today to see if there's anything that can be tweaked like you mentioned...thanks for the tips! :-)

Transfer done! Mine got delayed...I drank 2 glasses of water before heading out and another while waiting but apparently wasn’t enough to get a full bladder. Had to drink 3 more glasses Before it looked good enough!

@moly416 glad to hear your transfer went well! That is a lot of water. I drank about 2/3 of a bottle of water and the nurse said I could probably let a little out since I was still waiting for the doctor to get there. Last time they asked me to only to fill a little Dixie cup but then I couldn’t stop. So this time I decided to pass on that and hold it.
Hooray! Lining at my check this AM was 8.1. Is a relief since it was thinner on Monday than my doc wanted to see. I trigger tomorrow with pregnyl, start PIO on Sunday, and transfer is scheduled for Friday the 29th.
@mo777 awesome! You will only be 2 days after me. I had a lining check Tuesday and it was at 9 and I started pio yesterday. Transfer is on June 27. I am getting so excited, how about you?

Soooo excited! I had started a FET cycle back in Aril but had to cancel it due to needing gallbladder surgery. So grateful things are on track now. I’ve also been seeing an acupuncturist 1-2 times a week. She has been so helpful and supportive (has really helped me with dealing with the side effects) and she will be there on transfer day to do acupuncture just before and after.
The 27th for you is just around the corner! Wishing you all the good vibes and baby dust!!!
@mo777 sounds like you have everything in order. Glad things are on track for you too. Between jan and april I felt like I had delay after delay so I am very happy to have things going so well this time.
Yes the 27 feels like it should be tomorrow lol. My clinic is about 2 hrs from my house and my dr calls for 24 hrs of bed rest and 2 days of mostly laying but lounging is ok. He said if we live more than 30 mins away he STRONGLY suggests a hotel for the first night. Hubby and I decided to just do a hotel the whole time to make it easier. We check in on Tuesday and check out fri (your transfer day). It's funny because we just got home Monday from fl and 8 days later go to another hotel. Does your Dr say bed rest or no? @mandurz Yes, my RE wants two days of modified bedrest. She said I can cook meals and shower, but no lifting or exercise. My plan is a lot of Netflix, reading a book, and playing my guitar.
Staying in in a hotel sounds fun! Even though you just got back, you can still treat it like a mini vacation/mini retreat.
Hi ladies, Sadly I got the news today that is was a BFN. This was my first FET, but I only have two more in the freezer. They all tested as pgs normal, which I know isn't a guarantee but it's still disappointing. Any advice? ERA? Embryo glue? Endometrial Scratch?
I've already done 3 ER and I really don't see doing a 4th if these last two embryos don't stick.
@mandapanda1421 So sorry!! My 1st FET also failed with a pgs embryo and the next cycle did an ERA, just so could be 100% sure of timing. Mine came back receptive, but it was worth it for me to know since only had 1 embryo left. The biopsy they do for ERA, can also count as a form fo endo scratch. My RE doesn't do endo scratches, but if your's does...I'd def inquire about doing one.

Just got out of the urgent care. I have a uti. The nurse practitioner said I had a significant amount of blood and bacteria in my urine. I feel like I’m in the urgent care every time I have to use these vaginal inserts. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon!
Anyone in the tww planning on doing a hpt? I did a couple with my first transfer in January, but didn’t do any with my transfer in April. Both ended up being chemical pregnancies. I’m on the fence with if I should hpt this time or not.
@laurengon82 Oh no! Can you switch to PIO instead? Hope you feel better soon!

@laurengon82 I used 1st response starting day 5 and have been getting positives but my last transfer was a CP so I don't feel any relief! 1st beta wed....
Hi ladies, I haven't posted in forever, but life / work has really been getting in the away of any 'me time'.
@lysslyss21 : Congrats on the positive hpt!! Crossing fingers for a great first beta Wednesday!
@laurengon82 : Can you call your RE and ask for PIO instead of the vaginal inserts?
@mandapanda1421 : I'm so so sorry for the negative test. My thought would be to ask for a hysteroscopy and endometrial scratch at the same time. My RE doe it for all patients who have a couple of failed transfers. On my hysteroscopy, he found a ton of scar tissue that he had to remove (though honestly, not sure that solved all of my problems)
@mandurz : Hope you're taking it easy and your embryo is getting nice and cozy! My RE recommends 48h of bedrest and then taking it easy after that.
As for me, I had one day 5 pgs-tested blastocyst transferred last Thursday (so 4dp5dt now) and was really positive about it until I had my bloodwork today showing great progesterone, but plummeting estrogen (150 from 250 form 290 before that). They added an extra estrace (already taking 2mg 3x/day + minivelle patch every 3 days), but honestly, terribly concerned that it's too little too late at this point. I also got into my own head and took a hpt which *of course* was negative. Logical me knows it's only 4dp5dt so what was I expecting, but crazy IVF hormonal me is freaking out because of the estrogen drop thinking an embryo can't possibly implant in an environment like that :-(

@kristimh80 and @MSU_Girl1202 I hate doing to PIO so just the every other day shot is enough for me. I’m going to have to suck it up and deal with these inserts. Hopefully once it clears up I don’t get another one. Thanks for the feel betters!
@lysslyss21 that happened to me with my first transfer also. So then I figured with my second transfer I’d just wait for beta so that I don’t get excited for nothing. That didn’t protect my emotions either because I had a good 1st bets with my second transfer but then didn’t double at the 2nd beta. Now I know there is no feeling comfortable just a bunch of different hurdles to jump until 12 weeks. IF sucks!
@MSU_Girl1202 I am having that same feeling. I can’t tell that my progesterone is even working. The last two transfers I had it made me so tired and my boobs sore, but this time nothing. I don’t feel anything. The only thing different this time is I’m using crinone instead of endometrin.
@mandapanda1421 I am so sorry, I wish I had some suggestions but honestly I don't know. I hope you get some answers soon and feel comfortable with moving forward.

@mandapanda1421 Hi girl, so sorry to hear about the news.... My first PGS tested FET failed as well and I was struggling because it just didn't make sense. My RE immediately tested me for blood clotting disorders and did an endometrial scratch. We also doubled the dose of doxycycline and medrol and added baby aspirin for after the transfer. Embryo glue is standard for our clinic, I had that both times, I would definitely add that! It's one of those things that can't hurt to try. Some girls also found success with ERA. This time around, I also spent more time in the sun to soak up vitamin D and tried brazil nuts. It could be any of these things, but honestly sometimes it could just be luck unfortunately. Please take good care of yourself and take some time off if you need!

Thanks everyone! Is what helpful to read all your messages!! Best of luck to everyone!
@kristimh80 I spoke with my RE on the phone for a few minutes today. She thinks it's a bit too soon to do the ERA and said it usually comes back normal. We go in next week for the regroup and signing of papers (yet again). I'll think about it a bit more and ask again if I'm leaning that way.
@MSU_Girl1202 I've had at least 2 hysteroscopies probably because I am on my second RE. But will check if another one would show anything now (the latest was done within the last 6 months) and definitely going to be asking about the endometrial scratch!
@linxyz Thanks for sharing what you've done! Baby aspirin was part of my protocol on this round (as was doxycycline and medrol... interesting that they doubled it for you!) I did try some brazil nuts as well. I was told to stay out of the sun for extended periods of time. While I wasn't on bedrest at all they definitely didn't want me to overheat... including no heating pads on the abdomen! I think they were just being a bit overprotective. Ha!
@mandapanda1421 Sounds like my RE. If I hadn't brought it up and didn't only have 1 embryo left, she wouldn't have offered it either. Do you know around when your next FET could be if went to the next right away?

afm, I broke down yesterday afternoon and took a frer and got a very faint positive. I figured I’d take another this morning with my first pee thinking it should be darker. It was even lighter. Barely even visible. I know I have to wait for blood work Friday, but my bet is it’s going to be another chemical pregnancy or maybe even just negative by that point nothing good. Then when I told my husband what happened he just told me to wait for the blood work on Friday. I just don’t think he wants to deal with me being upset right now.

Anyone in the tww planning on doing a hpt? I did a couple with my first transfer in January, but didn’t do any with my transfer in April. Both ended up being chemical pregnancies. I’m on the fence with if I should hpt this time or not.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone!

@mandurz Good luck tomorrow!
Ha!
@mandurz Excited for you!!

afm, I broke down yesterday afternoon and took a frer and got a very faint positive.
