@CecilB93 and @hkom thank you!!! I didn’t realize you had to save them as a picture! Old school ways I guess. I’m all used to the Facebook app making it easy on me

@borgie05 you do t have to save it as a picture. If you get the url, you can click the image icon drop down and paste it in there. That should allow you to add to your post without saving the gif to your phone or computer.

@runrinserepeat I've never had that work for me. There's always like 3-5 URL or link choices and I never know which one lol.

Or right-click and select, "copy image address".

Ugh it's not working for me. I put the URL in the image space but it won't let me "enter" it. And it didn't end in .gif anyways lol. I'll just stick with what works for me lol.

ETA maybe it's just giphy.com? Anyone else use that on an iPhone and gif without having to save?

@CecilB93 Gify.com always gives me problems too. I can never find a link that ends in .gif so I copy them to my phone too and then just delete when I’m done. For some other sites I am able to post the link with .gif, but it’s easier to me to just copy because that works for all of them.

On my phone I just press and hold the gif from giphy until the options menu pop up, and then hit "copy"



Then I stick it in the “image url” slot. Maybe the difference is that I’m actually in safari and don’t have the bump app? In any case...

Also, is that a gif from Legends of the Hidden Temple??? Or whatever it's called...that's what comes to mind at least lol. If it is what I'm thinking, that's awesome lol.

From desktop I literally just "copy image" and then paste it right into the typing box.

@kchiquita20 if you’re on mobile go to the home page and tap the avatar pic on the top right of the screen.  It will take you to some account settings, tap the avatar pic again, and then it will give you the option to upload a pic or take a picture.

So I am always on my phone and I used to be snle to save the gifs but then last time I tried that method it didn’t work.
and yes, you have to go on the knot to change a lot of profile things.
