@SweetSweetTooth are you still shooting while pregnant? I feel so iffy about it. I want to buy my conceal carry gun, but don't want to if it's going to sit locked up for months.

I’ve gone shooting twice since I’ve been pregnant but at an outside range to keep the fresh air flowing and limit exposure to lead. I don’t plan on doing it often when pregnant. It’s something DH and I do together which is nice. I got my conceal carry permit last year but still trying to find the right holster for me.

@sammierose464@sarahzett I went once since pregnant to try out a new gun but only shot like 10 rounds, outside range, had gloves on, and a mask on on top of the normal gear. I don't know ant to take a chance with lead and lead free ammo isn't cheap. I do not plan on shooting until after baby is born. I know their ears develop early and don't want to risk their hearing. I know they are in fluid but I image it still would be louder than normal noises! Also, once I can feel baby it will bug me as I know they don't have hearing protection and if they startle are every shot I know I couldn't do it. I dont mind waiting now that I got play with my new gun a little I have the SIRT laser training gun that I can safely use while pregnant for dry fire practice and will be using that to get better and I have a crazy flinch. Dh still goes to the range and we just make sure he scrubs up very well.
@jenchoo sadly, no, I do not run these days. After those two knee surgeries in two years and a foot injury requiring a boot for a few months, I switched to lower impact exercises.
@jenchoo I still run but have slowed down There is so much to explore in NYC. We lived in Hell's Kitchen for 2 years and we miss it. I have family on Long Island so go up at least 2x a year. DH is going to cabo next week and that was supposed to be our nice beach vaca, but alas I can not go. So we are just going to do a wknd on the beach and I am going to run a 10k. lol. Not so much vaca but a wknd away at least.
Physical hobbies; I rock climb, horseback ride, and paddle board. Down to just rock climbing now thanks to pregnancy (full body harness, only top roping, no fall risk, dr approved).
Outside of that, I do my best to craft (and often fail) Pinterest projects. Have been getting into custom tumblers lately and that’s fun but time consuming. Mostly just surviving and keeping my spawn alive these days
