I've had lightening crotch a few times over the past week. It always takes me by surprise, and if i happen to be talking to someone the look on my face is probably hysterical. For me it has been a quick stabbing pain down there and generally happens 2-3 times over a couple minutes, then goes a way. It doesn't hurt as much when i'm laying down. I've had less RLP and more of this lately.
Just call me Narcolepsy Nan. I’ve been on a spring cleaning/ purging kick, sat down for what seemed like a minute and woke up 10 minutes later with a toddler throwing fruit snacks in my face. This keeps happening EVERY FREAKING DAY.
11w4d - Still nauseous off and on, food aversions still in high gear, and definitely still more tired than usual. But I do seem to be getting some energy back finally!
Nausea is mostly gone, but likes to pop up for short visits. Blackberry GingerAle is my new favourite thing. I’m in that weird stage where I’m not sick, but don’t feel babies move, so I just feel chubby and weird.
nausea easing up slight round ligament pain tingly nips rounder belly and maybe the worse back pain I’ve ever felt in my life to the point where I can barely walk
13 weeks 5 days and dare I say I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel! Aside from some weird out of the blue diarrhea, I'm feeling a lot better. Nausea has subsided, boobs don't hurt as much, and for the first time in months I actually worked late to catch up on some stuff. Been having a lot of headaches and RLP this week though which sucks but I rather that than the nausea and vomiting. Hoping this means I'm one step closer to the magical 2nd tri honeymoon phase I keep hearing so much about.
i didn’t have many symptoms to begin with(sore breasts, slight nausea and a few food aversions) which have now all seemed to disappear making me think/fear the worst. I haven’t had an ultrasound yet and my general wouldn’t do the Doppler fearing that I wasn’t far enough along for him to hear it at 9 weeks. Praying that everything is fine and that my ultrasound goes smoothly next week
I find the first trimester so hard in between appointments. You aren't feeling anything yet with the baby, and everything makes you question things. Trust that you're most likely fine! My dr wouldn't even try the Doppler until I was roughly 12w (I was 11w5d and he was unsure if he would find it).
WTF sciatica. I've only had it a couple times pre-pregnancy, mostly when I slept on my husband's rock hard "bed" in college. But now I' started getting it again, on my nice "firm but soft" bed, and I even have the body pillow to put between my knees. Is there any chance the pillow is causing it?? What have you guys found to help prevent this?
@jemmerjams sorry, sciatica sucks. Mine started kicking in last week when I get out of bed. The only thing I have found to help it is exercise and stretching. Days where I take the dog for a walk or do a 30 min. prenatal yoga video I never seem to have the pain.
Also- What are these phantom itches? It's like i'll have an itch on my boob or stomach but can't figure out where it's coming from so I don't know where to scratch!
@cagncoo12 lol it was my excuse to skip my workout this morning...But, I've noticed my left hip/side (where I get sciatica) has been super tight recently, so stretching is on my radar already, and since I bailed on the gym my dogs were going to get a long walk. Sounds like I know the right things to do...just need to do them. * sigh* I didn't think you could get it this early @ 12 weeks!
@cagncoo12@nmadjeski I just itch all over in general. Dry skin is definitely one of my pregnancy symptoms, as it turns out. At least it's humid AF in HTX so that won't make the dryness worse, right??
I am right there with you! 14w3d today and feeling great. Yesterday I was able to run normal and it's making me question everything! Uuughhh... pregnancy causes so much anxiety. I swear I felt her move a few times last week and now nothing, so maybe it was gas?! I have 1.5 more weeks till my next appt.
Fuuuuuuuuuu i don't remember my boobs hurting this much last time around. Standing up front a sitting position or getting up in the morning and i can just feel like needle sharp pains in them. Uugh. They're so sore. I keep remembering my first pregnancy and how I'd grab my boobs and squeeze, checking to see if they're sore yet and being like maybe? Ooh how naive I was.
@theglitteredpterodactyl I’m right there with you with the boob soreness. Does it go away ever? I’m worried no. Mine have also gotten huge (usually a 34C and now a 36DD) and I think that’s why my back Is starting to hurt.
re itchiness I bought some belly cream that is supposed to also help with stretch marks and it is very soothing but it smells like sherbet, which I do not appreciate.
@millerclanx5@purplegoldfish2@beverlystevens Thanks for your replies! I'm definitely going to try exfoliating then mosturizing, and I'm hoping that the nicer weather coming up might help a bit too. Dry skin EVERYWHERE is sure a pregnancy symptom that I didn't expect!!!
Ugh I feel like such an asshole, but I just yelled at my toddler “mama feels sick, can you PLEASE just go to sleep!”... Dh left me alone to handle it for a phone call (?) Today was the first day I had some round ligament pain.
I threw up on the living room floor this morning next to my toddler. He just goes 'ok mama?' So cute but ugh...wtf sickness I'm 13 wks here....go away!!
I was kinda freaking out since Thursday. Since turning 12 weeks my symptoms seemed to vanish over night and I felt fine. I'm super exhausted today and couldn't even chew gum without gagging. I guess I still have symptoms after all. Lol
@chopchop25 how far along are you? My boobs have been sore on and off for at least the last month. I am looking forward to that pain going away and DH is too! Lol I am just 14 weeks along as of today.
Has anyone had numbness or tingling? My arms fall asleep occasionally depending how I'm laying but today I was on the phone and my hand fell asleep for a good 5-10 mins even after getting up and shaking it all around. I laid back down after it went away and the tip of my tongue started going numb. It's since subsided but kind of freaked me out. I definitely plan to tell my midwife at my next appointment but wondering if that's normal or something I should call her sooner about?

How are you feeling?
Less tired & nausea (gag super easily though) & still bloated but no “bump” yet

Baby Blob due Oct 7!
PAIF 2+ years!
@rc-cola I was just thinking I need to invest in a good cream like that... not sure I could walk around smelling sherbet all day though.
Also, shooting boob pains have started this week.
