How far along are you? 10 weeks, 3 days

How are you feeling? Pretty good. The top of my belly seems to be getting harder (I had some pre pregnancy belly fluff). Surprised that is happening so soon. I can definitely feel things stretching and moving, which makes for uncomfortable nights. Otherwise, morning sickness is better but cravings and aversions are still very real.
  • How far along are you?
    10 weeks 5 days

    How are you feeling?
Still not great. Still having the tightness, almost contraction-ish, ache frequently.
I felt the most nauseous that I've felt last night, and this morning has been rough. Which it was back to school today, so I had to get up and do things first thing.
@cdepperschmidt Are you still having that ache? Or is yours finally better?

    How are you feeling?
Good! I hope it continues. My son has slept through the night the past 2 nights this is a miracle!!! I think its on the upside yes! I hate having to go to bed at 1 or 2 and sleeping until 12 my son sleeps from 12 to 12 so its a rough life. Hope everything is ok with my bladder ive had problems since DS was born I thought I had a UTI or something was off for 6 months but they never called and told me after the did my urine, pap, and blood work. I can't hold and bladder and when i do it hurts. I drink a ton of water so I pee a lot but this is something else.. I cant even have sex we had sex 3 times in the last 6 months because it feels like I have to pee extremely bad and this is what happens even with protection!!
  • 12w6d

heartburtn kicked in like a beast last night. My husband had to do an emergency run to target to get my Zantac at 10pm.

Tums did nothing for my first pregnancy and looks like won’t so much for this one either
  • 13w6d

I thought I was past gagging on my toothbrush, but, yeah, no, yesterday was unpleasant.  Hopefully the last time.

I don’t want to eat, unless it is French Fries.  Especially from 5 Guys.  Although I’ll take Cane’s as a poor substitute because fried chicken.

I thought I was also past being exhausted in the evenings, but yesterday put that impression to bed also- literally.

That said...  I’m generally nausa-free, and have energy to do stuff (if not exactly the desire to get stuff done).  I’m dealing with some round ligament pain, but I don’t have back pain.  For some reason, my butt gets numb from sitting.  I think I’ve been doing too much of that lately....

    How are you feeling?
Well I don't really feel like I am going to throw up anymore which is great! But now I am having these awful headaches almost daily. :( I remember having like two or three of these when I was pregnant with my daughter, but this is crazy! WAAAAH.

I had 3 days in a row of no puking, just some mild nausea which was broken yesterday. I was pretty miserable yesterday, but I'm chalking a lot of it up to not sleeping well and being tired.

Today I'm actually feeling pretty good. I feel "normal", which is a great feeling. I don't know when I last felt this way. I have some discomfort in my abdomen/uterus area, but overall not bad. Hoping I'm rounding that corner of starting to feel better!

ETA: Although my afternoon slump is coming. :(
  • 10 weeks and 2 days.

FTM. (First time Mom). I am feeling okay for the most part. Well, kind of. This past week I had some tough moments, such as out of breath and shortness of breath that got me worried for a bit. I don’t like shortness of breath and I have a hard time when it does happen.
My nausea is getting better but is still there and the food aversions are still out of control. I still can’t stand a lot of foods. If I ate something yesterday I won’t want it today. I still can’t have meat. Do these food aversions go away second trimester or does it stay for some of you?

Can't remember who all was having bad acne problems...maybe @spartan4life was one, among several?

Anyway, for those of you who are experiencing this brilliant symptom of pregnancy and also wear makeup, may I introduce to you: Shape Tape Concealer

Game changer! You should see my face before and after applying that stuff. I use the foundation as well!

It might be a little pricey, but let me tell you...great makeup is a worthy damn purchase, and I mean that from the depths of my soul. Amen.

  • @kathykalen2018 My food aversions have been getting better. I'm still not on board for a lot of red meat, but I'm doing better. What's funny was that I was living off canned ravioli and cheeze-its for a while and now neither sound good!
  • 13w6d

Feeling pretty good. Nausea is gone, still tired but less so, very hungry all the time. I gained a bit of weight last week which I think was largely from vacation eating but maybe it’s just the bump is more visible? Honestly hard to tell.
  • 10w6d

i still have some nausea but it isn’t as constant. My skin is super dry and it’s driving me insane! Felt some RLP the other night.

Still nauseated a lot, tired, overly emotional and I am losing my ability to function like a normal person... showing up an hour early to my dr appointment, couldn’t figure out today’s date for a form once I was there (but somehow knew I had an appointment today), the ultrasound tech went beyond what they normally do and I am pretty sure I didn’t thank her... I am such an ass.

Feeling better with more energy although I still can’t sleep throughout the night. I’m able to stay up past 7:30pm which is a bonus as I have so much work to catch up on.
I think my bump is starting to become visible with less bloating but still slight gagging at times.
  • 14 weeks 1 day
I can stay up till.my normal bed time, it's a struggle but I can do it. Alot less naps. I'm not nauseous every time I'm hungry, only when I'm starving but that's pretty normal for me anyways so it's hard to say. Acne and dandruff are bad. Yuck. Food aversions are still there. I have about two meals planed for the week then I'm screwed. I dont want steak or chicken (I've managed to eat one chicken recipe DH makes once a week...but no other chicken) Been eating alot of grapes, oranges and cheerios.

Still nauseous pretty much all day every day. It's really wearing on me and I'm hoping that the second trimester relief I keep hearing about kicks in soon!

@millerclanx5 my skin is super dry all the time too. I don't know what to do with my new face! Have you found any good products? I don't want to break out from not washing my face, but I don't want my skin to just keep getting more and more dry from using the same products that I usually do. And, oddly enough, daily mosturizer doesn't seem to be doing much.

Other than that it's mostly just been the regular exhaustion, RLP, sensitivity to smells, food aversions, etc. I'm really looking forward to some of these symptoms letting up a bit. I just don't feel like myself these days!

ETA: Everything that keeps getting deleted when I post.

I thought the puking was gone but alas it returned this morning. Today has not been a good day. Only thing I can stomach is garbage. Wendy's and doritos diet today!!

My acne is also out of control and I cant take it anymore! Hoping it settles down soon.

I am still always exhausted and honestly...I'm just over it all!!! Common second tri energy!!

  • @sliztee yes me!! Thank you! I will have to try it! I’m getting tired of walking around looking like I just hit puberty  :s

Feeling ok for the most part. Still pretty tired but I have only been having mild nausea in the morning before I eat and if I open the refrigerator. The acne is pretty out of control, but I think I have finally figured out the constipation thing. I posted about this today is the last symptoms thread but kiwi has been a magical fruit!

  • @nayyohme i'm with you on chicken... my husband doesn't like chicken and proudly announced the other night "well it's definitely my kid in there". I think i've only eaten chicken once since i found out i'm pregnant. Also, i'm a flaky mess from my forehead and my scalp, it's quite embarrassing.
  • @nayyohme @cagncoo12 I haven't been really feeling any meat at all either. It hasn't made me sick or anything, I just don't want it.

@coffee-saur still having it. Really wondering if it’s Braxton Hicks. I just hit 14 weeks today.

How far along are you? 14 weeks!

    How are you feeling?
SLOWLY, like at snail pace getting better in terms or nausea and vomiting. Still have to eat every hour or so to keep it at bay. RLP occasionally. I’m also dealing with this belly tightening  stuff. I would swear it’s Braxton Hicks except it lasts way longer than a minute and it makes me feel nauseous. But it happens when I’m exerting physical energy. This is my second pregnancy and I had lots of Braxton Hicks last time, but not this early. When did others start BH?

    ETA to answer thread.
  • Fries are my go to right now! Cane's are the best! Especially dipped in their sauce
  • @sliztee I second the Shape Tape concealer!

@nayyohme I'm dealing with dandruff too and it's so annoying!

    11w5d

I actually feel pretty good the last couple days. I've had some headaches but I'm attributing that to the lack of caffeine lately. Im still ready for bed pretty early but I'm not dealing with insomnia anymore, just crazy dreams.
  • @elliemak I haven’t found anything yet. Everything I’ve tried made me break out. It’s been a battle. It doesn’t help that winter is lasting forever!
  • @cdepperschmidt yes! That is what it feels like! I'm just sorta baffled cuz it's started so early, for me anyway. I've been having it on and off for a few weeks already, and I'm only 10 weeks along.

  • @elliemak I’m not having dry skin issues now, but have had it previously. If you haven’t tried it, exfoliate and then moisturize immediately.  It is the only thing that helped when I had issues.

@coffee-saur & @cdepperschmidt I had dr confirmed BH starting at 20 weeks last time.  Not quite as early as you are right now, but I think it started earlier and I just didn’t mention it until my 20 week appointment.  Stress made it worse and so did not drinking enough water.

  • -dry skin. Everywhere.
-headaches. Every day. No amount of water helps.
-snot nose. All day every day
-nausea. Much better but still get random bouts of it.
-RLP. Every time I cough/sneeze/turn or get up too     fast
    -insomnia.
-my nails are growing crazy fast!!
Also I want all the fats (especially butter), salty food, and meat. Red meat. Chicken is gross because I can’t stand the smell of it.

  • @jynjer91 Ugh. All the mucus. It drives me crazy!

My coworker is 22 weeks, last week she was having BH type feelings.

I just have this discomfort and pressure on my lower abdomen. Especially if I'm sitting up and leaning slightly forward in a chair. With a desk job..that's like all day. It sucks.
  • I'm 11weeks today.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday. Was bleeding with cramping so we went to the ER to get it checked out. Baby and me are fine. I was just given instructions to not lift anything more than 10lbs, no sex and no orgasms (lol!). So strange that can't even orgasm.

Other than that, feeling OK. Very tired. Back aches. A little bit of sleep difficulty.

  • 12+5 weeks today

I am less tired this week (can stay up to 10!) but also not sleeping very well. I wake up a lot in the night to pee and get comfortable. There seems to be some stretching going on in there that feels tight and heavy at night. I sleep on my back normally so I have been trying to sleep more on my side this week and it's not as comfortable (I had rotator cuff surgery in September so it's still tender to sleep on my left)

I didn't have any morning sickness ( other than some nausea for a couple days) but this last week I have been gaging at new things. Almost barfed trying to eat a parsnip at Easter dinner.

My boobs are still tender but not as bad. They definitely got fuller and heavy. I also have some dried crusty stuff on my nipples. The OB said that is normal. I have a lot of back pain and find by the end of the day I'm very uncomfortable.

  • Okay serious question about lightening crotch. I never had it with DS. Is it always in your lady parts or can it be closer to your butt? I’ve felt a couple stabs closer to my tailbone.
  • @debbyjane the ER doctor told me to keep it til I saw my OB who could check me again. So I'll know more after 4/17.

  • @elliemak Regrettably, I've taken to applying vaseline on my face 2x a day. Normally, this would cause me to break out, but it hasn't yet. I tried about a half dozen other facial moisturizers but nothing was working. Hope to find something else that works soon, because honestly, who puts vaseline on their face?
  • @beverlystevens Have you tried coconut oil?
  • @cdepperschmidt I think Im having sympathy lightning crotch. I got up to walk to a meeting down the hall and had some very odd and new pains down there that half felt like having to pee with every step and half like someone was stabbing me in my lady bits. Not sure if this is what that was but I'm curious to hear from others who have had this. I've been having other cramps and abdominal pains the last couple days so assuming it's all related.
