1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 13 weeks! Second trimesterrrr!!! Baby is the size of a scoop of ice cream
2. How are you feeling? I feel great! Pregnancy agrees with me- my skin is totally clear, I had minimal nausea and thats gone now, my boobs are literally fantastic. It's nice that SOME part of babies is easy for me, lol
3. Any appointments this coming week? None this week. I just have to set up a fetal echo with the MFM doctor (recommended for IVF babies), and a special 20 week scan (also recommended for IVF babies)
4. Rants, raves, questions? So I know its questionable as to when 2nd trimester starts (12 weeks to 14, depending on where you ask), but I am gonna consider 13 to be the start since 39 weeks is considered full term. Also, I think we picked a name yesterday
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? I would meet Queen Elizabeth I cuz she was a BAMF
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 14! I did it! I made it to the second trimester! 2. How are you feeling? Pretty dang good. I have energy and have been craving healthier foods.
3. Any appointments this coming week? Nope!
4. Rants, raves, questions? My husband will be out of town Thursday-Sunday, so that sucks, but at least I can watch trash TV and be super lazy!
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet? I'd probably enjoy California in the mid to late-60's. I have a special adoration for music of the hippie era, as well as a fascination for the people who contributed to the scene and the free love movement. I think I would have liked to know Graham Nash the best from that time
2. How are you feeling? I feel great! Pregnancy agrees with me- my skin is totally clear, I had minimal nausea and thats gone now, my boobs are literally fantastic. It's nice that SOME part of babies is easy for me, lol
Trying not to send you stabby eyes and I sit here nauseous at 12 weeks...
@kiwi2628 I had 3 days of no puking. That's a win in my book. I got a little sick this AM and I'm mostly just uncomfortable and a little nauseous today. I'm just hoping that by the 13th week 14 will be a blessing. We are flying to AZ that day and I'd like to enjoy the trip!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 12 weeks - a plum
2. How are you feeling? Pretty good, actually. I haven’t had much of an appetite the past couple days, which has been odd, but compared to my last pregnancy, this has been easy so far. I think the worst I’ve experienced is a diminished immune system (I had two pretty gnarly illnesses over the past couple of months).
3. Any appointments this coming week? NT Scan and genetic counseling today. Did it last time, too. Looking forward to a good picture of the baby.
4. Rants, raves, questions? DS has been sleeping past 7 ever since St Patrick’s Day. It’s been unbelievably nice, and he’s been such a happy, easy little guy lately.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? As a history teacher, that’s such a hard question! I love WWII, but I don’t think I want to go back and live through it, that sounds terrible, haha! So I’m going to say the 1960s, and I’d want to meet RFK. I really think that if he hasn’t been killed, the country would’ve ended up a lot differently - he was awesome... and a total babe
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 11 weeks...a doughnut hole / munchkin!
2. How are you feeling? Exhausted from Easter, but otherwise still fine.
3. Any appointments this coming week? Nope. Hoping the genetics counseling place calls to schedule, though.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Ranting at the Bump for a stupid app article on how morning sickness is associated with healthier pregnancies. I get their intent was to make everyone who feels miserable better, but thanks for isolating and freaking out the rest of us, jerks.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? I think the 50s, simply to understand a whole generation a little bit better. There was so much going on in history during that time that defined many nation's identities, and I'd like to understand the emotions of it more deeply. Otherwise, just like 20 years ago bc being a kid again would be awesome.
Today I think I’m paying for a busy Easter weekend with a bit more nausea than I’ve had and definitely super tired. But overall gradually starting to get better.
3. Any appointments this coming week? NT scan next week. Last week my doctor didn’t try to find the heartbeat with a Doppler so I haven’t seen or heard the little bean since week 6! I’m counting down the days!
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rave—we told my parents a few weeks ago. When they came for Easter my mom brought me a book to start the baby’s library, a picture frame Christmas ornament for my ultrasound photo, and a countdown “x weeks until baby” sign to use in my bump photos! So sweet, I almost cried!
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet??
Ooh, probably the Mad Men era. Great fashion and I’m so curious about the social politics and roles of the time...just to understand it better!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 12 weeks-plum
2. How are you feeling? Better than I have in previous weeks. I have a golden 3 hour window when I wake up where the nausea doesn't kick in, so that's nice! Still have nausea the rest of the day/night if I don't have a full stomach. But it's getting better, so I'm optimistic it will go away soon!
3. Any appointments this coming week? Had my 12 week check up today! Nurse tried to get a HB with the doppler and couldn't find one (freaked me out), but then we moved to the US room and the Dr was able to find it using the doppler on the US machine. All is well, and baby is moving like crazy! Also did the genetic screening blood test today.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Rant: I'm so tired all day...and then when I'm in bed, my $#)%) mind won't shut off. What the heck??? I have no caffeine during the day (decaf coffee I miss youuuuu) and I don't watch TV at least an hour before bed!
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? Hmm that's a tough one. I've never thought about this in that much detail...but I love the idea of the Jane Austen era-minus the whole women are inferior and need a man kinda thing...
@jemmerjams I’ve been having a lot of trouble sleeping too. Super frustrating!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 10 weeks, a strawberry
2. How are you feeling? Still tired all the time but the morning sickness has gone from throwing up 3-6 times a day to 1-2 times so I’m hoping it’ll start to subside soon.
3. Any appointments this coming week? Nope
4. Rants, raves, questions? I “graduated” from my RE last week so I start seeing the midwife next week!
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? This is a tough one! Maybe the Renaissance era. But then you know, no modern facilities and stuff.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 10 weeks, baby is a strawberry according to TB
2. How are you feeling? Sick and tired, literally. I have days when I only throw up once and days like yesterday when I can't hold anything down, and the Mom guilt I feel from having DD watching tv is awful but I just can't muster the energy to do anything. And the constipation is out of control. I'm ready for this trimester to be over and to start feeling at least a tiny bit better.
3. Any appointments this coming week? Nope, next week I'll get my blood work done for the Harmony test and we'll get an ultrasound for nuchal translucency.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Rave...I survived a weeks vacation with DH's father. It was like a marathon.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? This is really hard because I feel very lucky to live in a time when women are fighting so hard for our share of the pie. I don't take our current liberties for granted. That being said if I had to choose another time, I think it would've been cool to live in the mid to late twenties, after the war when the women's lib movement was starting to really get it's push. My favorite era in history is Tudor England but I also think that would've been a really scary time to be a young woman of child bearing age so definitely wouldn't have wanted to live there lol
1. 14 weeks yesterday, baby’s the size of a peach!
2. I’m feeling pretty good for the most part other than some random stomach pains. I am also starting to feel like my clothes are getting too tight so I may need to start maternity shopping soon!
3. No Appointments
4. We are *finally* telling our family tonight! Then friends later this week! Can’t wait to share the news!
5. I’m not sure I would want to time travel. It might be cool to meet my parents as my current age or cool to meet my future kid(s) when they’re my current age.
Lol me too! Expect still nauseous at 14 weeks. Also, (not trying to rain on the parade), but I felt last pregnancy agreed with me and this time not so much...
@ladyofarlington I'm only 12 weeks (1st pregnancy) and started wearing maternity pants last week because shockingly, high waist pants don't fit over the bloat. I was hesitant to jump into the maternity clothes world this early, but my waist/stomach thanks me. Mostly I try to wear dresses/cardigans to cover up the bloat since I've only told my boss, and not the rest of my coworkers.
@jemmerjams I've been in my maternity pants for a few weeks now. Maybe about 8 or 9? High waisted pants were just uncomfortable, especially when I already had a belly.
@sammierose464 I was able to hold out until week 11 because my the lady who alters my pants actually didn't do her best job last time and my work pants had some extra room in the waist, which was great for a few weeks! But alas, it's not enough anymore...
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 10w, size of a strawberry I believe (today's said a chocolate truffle?)
2. How are you feeling? Anxious, nauseou, tired
3. Any appointments this coming week? One Thursday and one this coming Monday (I know I won't be on to update my ticker change that day before me app.)
4. Rants, raves, questions? I'm really nervous for my appointment. I fell yesterday, while carrying my almost 2yo. While trying to keep him safe, I landed belly down on a baby gate. I was spotting last night and haven't felt well today. I scared the baby is ok. I'm uncomfortable, but can't tell you the last time I pooped. So that may be the cause of discomfort.
5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? I have no idea right now
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 12w3d Baby is the size of a plumb.

5. GTKY: If you could travel in time and to any location, where would you go and / or who would you want to meet?? I'd love to go back in time and hang with my mom when she was my age!
