Crib: time to switch. We hesitated and then he climbed out and was hurt, bruised his neck or jammed it, it was very scary and we took him to Childrens, had X-ray and cat scan. Don’t wait when climbing seems likely.
Toddler bed: we did it for space reasons and we had one anyhow (mine my dad made me). I wouldnt bother unless you need the space or have one. My kids all slept waaaay better in a twin. And my 2&3 slept better in a bed than a crib.

How are you feeling??? SO MUCH BETTER. Still tired but the weeks of headaches are gone, the ms, and I’m on meds for heartburn. I am visibly preg which helps too.
Rants/Raves rave: things were tense (stress mainly) for a while and lately things have shifted, thankfully. I just registered my 5yo for kinder! And my 7 yo has always been a tough kid and he seems to be leveling a bit. And thevtoddler is just lucky he’s so cute lol
rant: dreading my ils visit in less than 2w. Never know what we should expect from their visits or how they will go, how they will act. Stressful, and the kids put so much importance on them and get let down, which suuuuucks.

Best Christmas present ever was a baby sister (Xmas eve when I was 3.5, andvwas sooooo excited) worst Mils bff (who didn’t approve of me bc I’m not religious and wouldn’t attend our wedding or shower) have ya this hideous cream Lenox (which I don’t like) bowl the was all lacy and had green bedazzled gems. We tried to take it back for credit and were literally given $5
FFMC: We usually eat in front of the TV. And we let DS roam around while we do it. Or he sits in our laps. It's definitely not the way I envisioned family dinner, but it works for us. And we usually offer him what we're eating, with a plate of it for him. He either eats it or he doesn't, and we try not to stress about. But he doesn't throw food or anything. I think we'd have to rethink our set up if he did.
DS is 27 months and still in his crib. But I don't think 18 months is too young to get a toddler bed. If you want to try to prolong it, I have seen pajamas that connect the feet so the kid can't get a leg high enough to get over the railing. I think they're supposed to be easy to diy, too.

Rants/Raves DH is on spring break! So he's home all week. We want to keep DS on schedule, and DH has a ton of grading to do, so we're still sending DS to daycare. I'm super excited about it, because I don't have to get DS ready and drop him off, so my mornings are so much calmer and easier. How are you feeling??? Whatever the hell is going on with my sleep is getting old soo fast. It takes me about 2 hours from the time I lay down to actually fall asleep. I just turn from side to side and can’t shut off my brain, even though I feel sleepy when I lay down. Then when I finally fall asleep it isn’t restful and I wake up multiple times during the night. On the nights I take a unisom to actually get some sleep I still don’t feel well rested in the morning and feel groggy and sleepy all day. It sucks.

I put dd in a toddler bed at 18mo. After going to her checkup and the Dr asking me if she was in q crib or a bed. I took that to mean that she should be in a bed bc I always overanalyze like that. She has done ok with it and probably sleeps better than when she was in the crib
As for toddler dinner time, if I really want dd to eat something, I put it on my plate bc she always wants what I'm eating instead of what I put in front of her

Best gift... my husband got me a diamond ring addition when I was 90 days sober 3.5 years ago. It was very special that he was so supportive and encourages me daily
worst... past two anniversaries my husband said he is building me something and then he hasn’t lol
bed.... we are building one of those floor beds for my son!!! We are giving it rails though and using the double mattress we already have.

Whatever the hell is going on with my sleep is getting old soo fast. It takes me about 2 hours from the time I lay down to actually fall asleep. I just turn from side to side and can’t shut off my brain, even though I feel sleepy when I lay down. Then when I finally fall asleep it isn’t restful and I wake up multiple times during the night.
