@eleven_ and others re: tieks. we talked about them Monday and then I was in a meeting that afternoon and 2 women were wearing Tieks, so I had to ask, were they worth it. One said her H got them for her and it was literally the first day she was wearing them, but liked them so far. The other woman said she really liked them and wore them as often as possible. 

@galactickates I liked the "chatter" and U/O, FFFC, GTKYs on this board because it is a smaller group and if you really get people to participate then you get to know each other so much better. We need to encourage the newbies and the lurkers to join in. (and long-timers like me)

Our doxie Lucy is so cute and fluffy.  But she is the opposite of girlie. She usually eats dinner and then finds my H and burps in his face. So rude.  And of course he's never expecting it.   tonight H and I  were both at the dinner table while she was eating. When she was done she walked up to our other dog and burped in his ear.  I've never met a weirder dog.

I don’t know @galactickates, my dog could probably compete with your dog in the weird department.  Here she is cleaning herself like a cat, which she does on a daily basis.

@coco2787 omg that is seriously so funny!  
Lucy has come inside with slugs in her fur,  or just the other night she was soaked from going outside. We're talking 4 am in the high 30's and raining and ran up H's back (no shirt on) to get praise for going out. He screamed.

Showing signs of potential O yesterday so decided I'd have to jump DH. It's totally a sign that his favorite song to sing me started playing on the radio when went to get dinner last night right?

DSs cradle is still next to my bed. He's 2.5 and not used it in 2yrs. Anyway.... this morning he starts rocking it and asks if there's a baby in it. I tell him no, not yet. He says he's too big. I confirm. He starts talking about how he use to be in my belly and now he's not. I confirm and say because he was all done growing and got too big. He says "the other baby not done yet". He knew about the loss and hasn't mention the baby in over a week...... 

Knock it off brain. Knock it off. All logical explanations, not signs.

Fail laced with fail.... I decided to settle in with a glass of wine and chill out tonight.  I just spent 20 minutes looking for my wine opener.  Found said wine opener,  only to then realize it was a twist off. Now I'm hate drinking my wine because I spent $13 on a bottle wine that had a twist cap.... wtf #neveragain

I definitely had me some $13 twist off wine too. But surprisingly a lot of the ones my wine club sends me are twist off.

I had a $5 target bottle o wine tonight. It had a regular cork and was actually quite delicious, guess I need to make another target run tomorrow

@galactickates I've actually had a few really good wines that were twist caps instead of corks! And DH and I usually spend at least $17 on a bottle because of where we shop. Most Australian wines are actually twist tops regardless of the type of wine, so twist top doesn't automatically mean crappy wine.

I drink waaaaay to much wine to spend 20$ a bottle.  I'd be homeless.

Also, I fell at work today. I'm now on crutches and am currently elevating and icing my ankle. Fun!

I went to target today, got 6 of their $5 bottles of wine because you got 10% off if you bought 6 or more! There was a 24 bottle limit, and even though I was tempted, I figured my DH would not be happy with me buying more than 6 lol

@galactickates yea we don't drink much, only weekends. DH doesn't like to drink on work nights lol. My mom is a big wine snob though, so I'm used to the stuff we get! The place we go is awesome, the people are super knowledgeable and they have awesome tasting stuff and classes! Though I will say my mom moved and doesn't have a place like we do here anymore, and she's definitely been buying a lot of three buck chuck from Trader Joes and it's pretty good for the price!

@dreamscapes_ oh no! Hopefully your ankle heals quick and you don't need the crutches long!

@nmbrcrnchr1 I've always wanted to take advantage of the 10% off 6+ bottles, but as mentioned above, we're a little picky about wines, haha. I'd seriously love to see someone buy 24 though!!!  I can't believe the limit is that high!

@nmbrcrnchr1 - DH and I have bought 4 cases at once. We used to really like this wine we couldn't buy at home, but we could buy it when we went to visit my family. So one time we called the wine shop where we found the wine and ordered the 4 cases. Needless to say, we didn't need to buy wine for a YEAR. We're not huge drinkers but we are particular and it must taste yummy.

You guys are really making me want wine and it’s only 9 am. I really have a problem where if they are drinking wine on tv I must have some immediately. I too am into cheap wine but it must be yummy. I was going through a phase where everything was tasting super sweet to me and then I started decanting. It makes all the difference even with my $10 bottles!

@nmbrcrnchr1 Pic of what I have in the spoiler (??? If I did it right). I’m no expert but everything was tasting way too sweet right after I poured it, and for some reason this helps.
