How many weeks are you/baby's size? 17 weeks, baby is the size of a pomegranate or a large order of fries.
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good overall, just a lot of aches and pains. And heartburn, woof.
Any appts this week? Nothing until A/S on 3/29
Rants/raves/questions? Feeling good enough that I actually worked out 3 days last week, and so far once this week. My new goal is 3 times/week. I used to be a regular 5x/week but that's just not gonna happen for me right now. We'll see if I can keep it up!
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I've never really been hurt that badly, so no broken bones or anything like that. A few stupid falls and stuff when I was younger though - crashed my bike into a stop sign (how embarrassing!), left a metal spoon in a blender and turned the blender on (oops), but nothing too serious. I'm a pretty big baby though, so I basically avoid every type of activity where I could possibly get hurt.
many weeks are you/baby's size? 17 weeks, a pomegranate
How are you feeling? A little nauseous and a headache today
Any appts this week? Nope, just waiting on some lab results
Rants/raves/questions? Every flat surface is covered in our home. I've been so sick that only the basics are getting done. My husband does his best to help, but he's usually the go to person for the abnormal needs around the house - we had a backup in our pipes so he spent his entire evening unclogging everything two days ago (just to give an example) and it seems like random stuff pops up all the time. I really wish I could catch up on stuff like this.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I get little bumps and bruises all the time on my hands and elbows and hips bc apparently I have no self awareness and hit them on walls or furniture, it drives me crazy.
How many weeks are you/baby's size? 17 weeks and the size of a fist bump with a newborn. Lol!
How are you feeling? Exhausted and lots of headaches lately. Oh and leg pain/sciatic pain at night.
Any appts this week? No, next week I have a check up.
Rants/raves/questions? I’m so behind on these message boards. Lately I can only check in a little bit and there are over 200 new comments on the weekly thread. Sigh.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Once I got my finger twisted between the white board and the frame (it was on one of those movable frames) and it basically twisted my fingernail which eventually fell off. It was ridiculous. I also used to sprain my ankle a lot just walking along. I’m pretty much a klutz.
How many weeks are you/baby's size? 19 weeks, zucchini (she weighs 11 oz, I found out today!)
How are you feeling? Pretty good! No complaints this week.
Any appts this week? Had my A/S today. It went well except her legs were above her head so no good pics of her brain so I get to come back next week. No complaints from me about seeing her again. Still a girl and got great view of her lips and nose.
Rants/raves/questions? I will be starting a new job in 4 weeks, at 23 weeks pregnant. I will have to take the bus to work and probably dress a bit more professionally again, which will be weird so pregnant, but I am really excited regardless! I also wanted to take some time off before baby (like a few weeks) but now I will probably feel too guilty right after starting - I will see if they will let me work from home the last couple weeks instead, which I have done in the past.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? ETA because I thought of a better one: once, right before a piano exam, I was at an end of the year sleep-away thing at school. I was dared to run into a room to say something to a group of girls (can't remember what) and when I slammed the door to leave I slammed it on my finger. Had to leave the sleep-away thing early because of the pain and had to get a doctor's note to reschedule the piano exam. That finger has been slightly thicker ever since (not really noticeably unless you compare it to the one on the opposite hand).
How many weeks are you/baby's size? 18 weeks, the size of a croissant
How are you feeling? I have a killer cold this week, so that majorly sucks, and the coughing is making my lower belly hurt. But otherwise, I'm feeling good.
Any appts this week? Saw my OB today and everything is good.
Rants/raves/questions? Feeling baby kicks from the outside! I love it so much. I can't wait for DH and DS to feel them.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Oh boy. I could list so many, as I'm a massive klutz! 1. Broke my nose in 3rd grade when going out to recess - I thought someone was holding the metal cafeteria door but they let it go, and slammed it in my face. No one bothered to check if it was broken, so it healed incorrectly, and gave me a deviated septum, which I got fixed when I was in college. 2. Broke my wrist at dance class. I was a dancer growing up, and freshman year of high school, we were practicing an upbeat dance, where we quickly went down to the floor in the splits and caught ourselves with our left hand. I slipped and went down too quickly, and broke a tiny bone in my wrist. The best part, is because I had minor injuries all the time, my mom didn't believe me that it was really hurt for almost 3 months! 3. Broke my baby toe on our old coffee table in DH and my 1st apartment. That thing was evil and we both broke our toes on it, but mine kept getting rebroken when I hit it again, and is now almost double the thickness of my other baby toe.

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 18 weeks, an artichoke
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Not as tired anymore but still not like my pre-pregnancy self. The insomnia still hits certain nights for no reason.
Any appts this week? Nope. First appointment with new MFM on Tuesday of next week and they will do A/S scan.
Rants/raves/questions? So many bloody boogers! Waking up and blowing my nose is a treat.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Ha oh boy, we could be here a while. I am a daredevil so I did my fair share when I was younger. Probably the dumbest still is running up a little tykes slide in the backyard and jumping to swing on a T-frame clothesline pole. I missed when I jumped and didn’t make it to the pole, fell, and broke my arm in two places. That was an awesome cast I wore all summer.
