If you've lost your MP?

I lost my MP a couple of weeks ago and when I went to the doctor I was having contractions and dilated 2 cm and about 70% effaced.  They were able to stop PTL and I have been home on bedrest ever since.

Well since this morning, two times that I have gone to the bathroom and when I have wiped there has been little pieces of what my MP looked like.

Do you think this is okay? I have a doctors appt in the AM, I'm not sure if I should call now or just wait until tomorrow to ask? Has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't lost my MP (that I know of) but I would def call your doctor and let them know.

i think ive been losing mine over the past couple of days. Ive had 2 big pieces. i would definitely call your dr especially if u are having contractions.

I lost mine with DD in the toilet..all  I can say is "WTF  is that?" yup MP but I delivered with in 6 hrs after

Evidently it's more common than I thought to lose it with other signs of PTL! I am 100% effaced & 1 cm dilated (on hospital bedrest) and lost mine 6 days ago.. No contractions though so the doctor wasn't worried or even surprised. He said you can actually make more. It doesn't mean you'll go into labor within a certain time, however I would give your doctor a call & let them know. But don't panic like I did!

I would call.

I didn't' realize I lost mine right away (it came out gradually) and ended up delivering at 26w2d.  Thankfully you're much further along, but I would speak up now to get a few more weeks under your belt!
