Ya, I completely disagree with all you white chocolate haters. I love the stuff.
FFFC: I googled Samantha's name before writing it down on her birth certificate to verify spelling. It's not like it's a hard name to spell, but I have an irrational fear I am going to mispell their names and it will be stuck like that.
DH asked me at least 3x to repeat N’s spelling of her middle name to be sure it was right for her birth certificate. It was correct and she is officially a real human with a SS number.
FFFC: I still don’t want any visitors and baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow night. Only grandmas have visited and others have not been invited, but many have hinted they want to come.
Sorry, not sorry. Sickness season is still in full force AND we haven’t been 100% well over here anyway so I don’t want to risk giving it to anyone either.
My ILs and my three boys left three hours ago to go run errands for MH’s promotion ceremony. So far I have pumped twice and taken a nap. Confession: other than missing my boys, I’d be okay with them leaving me alone in my house every day for the rest of their trip.
@baybeesunflower- This is baby number 3 for me and I still love googling labor symptoms! I’ve seen them all already, I know how this will go and I know it’s all completely unpredictable but I still enjoy it. I don’t use it to truly get my hopes up and it doesn’t frustrate or discourage me when I don’t go into labor. I always just find it’s a way for me to stay excited about it and make it feel real. I love the anticipation.
Confession: It might be totally pointless but I'm eating 6 dates a day in hopes I won't need pitocin.
Hadn't heard this before... what do the dates do?
There's a study that shows that if you eat 6 dates per day in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy that you are less likely to need pitocin and other types of augmentation/induction
