I searched our board and couldn’t find a thread that answered my questions:
My pregnancy before DD was a loss (blighted ovum) so I’m a bit paranoid this time around. Any STM who feel different from their first? I don’t remember having lower back pains this early with DD. I’m somewhere between 5 weeks and 5 weeks and two days but I had a lot of lower back pain (not crazy severe just uncomfortable) last week and **possibly TMI** I had very very light pink discharge Friday (not like a lot, just if I really tried to look). Again, I’m sure it’s nothing because my cramps are not really cramps, just like almost stretching feeling but my u/s isn’t until March 14 so the wait is killing me. On the upside my pregnancy brain is crazy and I’ve had nausea at least once a day since last Monday, as well as breast tenderness. Wanted to see if any STMs were in my same shoes.

Re: STM- difference in symptoms?
@tinattt23 that's got to be reassuring for you though, at least you know what to expect.
@estellegetty @ashin121 @arrowst I have to say it makes me feel much better that I'm not alone. Praying we all have great first appts!!!!

This time I’ve been slightly nauseous, but not terrible so far, exhausted, but not fall asleep at work exhausted, and crampy all freaking day. Plus the constipation followed by diarrhea every 3 days has been a weird new thing.
Definitely feels like like an entirely new experience.
I also notice my anxiety is much higher this time around. Counting down to my US on 3/7.
that's what I keep thinking...but my youngest is only three and this is so much harder this time around! I had no MS with my first, and some here and there with the others, but this is constant and hard to even function. and I am so exhausted all the time. people close to me keep saying it's because I have four kids at home, but last time I had three and I did not feel this way. I know it is all for a good cause, but geez this is rough.

edited because words.
This time around I’m quite worried as I started with nausea and was sick once but that seems to have completed disappeared.
I still feel bloated and frequently uriniating but apart from those 2 things I feel normal.
I had an early scan at 6w and LO had a heartbeat but I am finding it hard to stay positive now because of the decrease in symptoms

Anyway, I would say try not to worry. Every pregnancy is different.
@tinattt23 YEs toddlers. DS will say, “but I don’t want your tummy to hurt” and get the wining is killing me!
The recovery for my first was miserable, and took MONTHS, not weeks like everyone says, and is my biggest concern with this baby. I think DS was 4 months old before I could sit down without sucking air through my teeth.
Since pregnancy tests detect hcg, it’s possible that you just have higher hcg levels this time. Since hcg levels vary so much from pregnancy to pregnancy, there really isn’t a way to tell if it’s twins based on levels.
EDIT because I kind of sounded like an ass in the original post.
